Where? Not Japan. Fuck Japan. So overused. Let's go for America or Canada since most of the people would be familiar with that and we wouldn't have people doing cultural faux pas on a regular basis. It'll be a central city, however that city won't be important. It won't even have a very high concentration of armament users. Even if we have 50 users in one city, if the city is big enough that's like 50 out of 50,000 to a few million or so people maybe?

Definitely going to include other areas. Perhaps a city that is near a lot of various biosystems and has a varying climate.

When? 20XX. Not sure if I want a timeline that just branches off from where we are now or from an earlier time. Definitely going to be doing a 'moving' timeline thuogh, where we'll follow the months that go in real life.

Sona Vida
Large city on the coast. The major area.
Black River
Suburbs area around
Cascade Mountain range borders the back end of Sona Veda. Pacific ocean on the western coast. Past the cascade mountains are a drier forest area and eventually turns to a dry plains and then a desert. On the ocean side is a very dense Washington forest, a few smaller lakes and generally good weather.
Warmish summers, coolish winters, get a good amount of snow in the winter.

Kinda, except I really -really- want to avoid screwing up people because they do or don't know the area, do or don't know the politics, etc. Thus creating a completely new city. We'll just say that one of the beasties wrecked a city or something. :P

Also, giving a new city allows for the players to completely craft it to their liking, adding things to make it much more personal.
