Hi there! As a result of the Portland Press Herald article last Sunday, My husband and I paid our dues to the association and are looking forward to rides, volunteering and such. We both ride F650GS' and recently (this past March) head out to California to participate in a RawHyde Intro to adventure course followed by a 2 day ride in the Mojave. We loved it and thought: OK, how can we do some off road stuff in Maine??? Then the article got published!! We live in the Portand area are interesting in what we need to do to be responsible and legal, and WHERE we can actually ride off road. |

You might want to check their facebook page. There never seems to be any discussion happening here. They didn't even bother to announce the May 3rd ride here on the website. Not related to MEDSDBA, but you could also check the ADVrider.com website/forum. There is a regional forum area where there is Maine/New England related stuff. Thanks for supporting MEDSDBA, and welcome to dual sport riding! |

It is tru e. The FB page seems to be the default place to keep up with MEDSDBA. Pretty sure Wade Worster is planning his annual dualsport ride soon. I think the FB pg has already started some dialogue on that. Brian |

That's sad. As a non-facebook user I feel one shouldn't be obliged to join facebook as well as medsdba just to find out what's going on. You should edit the Events page of the website so it doesn't say to check the discussion board for updates. Sorry, just my personal opinion. I realize the rest of the world is on FB.

I agree. I'll visit with the other steering committee folks and see if we can do better at keeping up with the website. It has been discussed, but by default most of the board members and club members are letting this site slip away. |

Just signed in and thought i'd say hello ! I was cruising around online looking for some sort of map depicting the areas that were open to ATV's and would allow dirt bikes as well. I tried to go onto the Fish and wildlife home page but no success. I get around the state quite a bit and would like to ride mostly north of Skowhegan and Greenville towards Bingham and Rockwood etc. Any advice other than be careful some trails are closed to d-bikes ? |

Ditto, Just signed on and looking around the site to see what's happening. Seems it's all Facebook centered, too bad, Not a FB person myself. Will have to try to see if there is any discussion over on ADV rider. Was going to join the club but if FB is the only way to find out about things its kinda a waste of 25 bux for me :-( J |
