The peeling treatment we were talking about on that other thread. Order it. Order it now! If you have to mortgage your house, sell a kidney, eat ramen for a month, do it! LOL, JK. Shit is only like $7.00.

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

I finally got it and used it Friday night. My skin feels freaking amazing. Like a fresh babies butt!

Oh, and if you are placing an order anyway, get this too. I am loving it. I've been using it in the morning under my moisturizer and it's great.

OK, thanks! I'm on vacation right now and under orders from Mrs.Cowboy and some other peeps to get off the laptop and enjoy myself, but I'll try and pull myself away and order it. You know that I've been wanting to try this forever!

I want my skin to feel like a baby's butt, too! :)

I use glycolic all the time, is this similar? Do you neutralize with baking soda?

Glycolic is an AHA. This product is a 30% strength (which is pretty high, definitely not for daily use!) AHA blend. They use Glycolic, Lactic, Tartaric and Citric as the AHA's.

There is no reason to neutralize AHA peels unless it is being done at clinical strength, which is between 60% -70%. And you really shouldn't be doing those on your own at home :$

I use 30% straight glycolic on my face and neutralize after 8 minutes, otherwise I look like a pizza the morning after.

How much is shipping from this place? I am intrigued.

Yea, I don't bother neutralizing but if you are still red the next morning then definitely do so! I am typically only red and irritated for maybe 30 minutes to an hour.

You are in the US, right? They do free shipping for over $25. I don't know if it varies by the order weight/shipping location, but right now my cart is showing $4.99 shipping with just the one product. Which is only $7.20.

Update: baby’s ass. Oh yeah.
Guess I'm next. I want a baby's ass face, too! I have a $50 gift certificate to Sephora, but unfortunately, they don't carry that The Ordinary product.

Terabethia, do you know if it will help with milia? I'm having a problem with those little buggers.

Technically yes, pretty much all acids should help with that.

Worth a shot!

Ok, I finally ordered the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution along with Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. The site said it's experiencing a high volume (must be all us Peeps buying product!), so there may be a 10 day wait. I'll wait.

Baby Ass face, here I come! :)

I don't know about The Ordinary, but I know the Paula's Choice acne line is supposed to be very good.

Ok, the HA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution just arrived.

Any tips, Tera or Loomie (or anyone who has had success with it) on the initial application? I'm planning on doing it this weekend.

I got mine yesterday, and tried it last night. I put two dropperfuls in my hand to put on, and probably could have done 1 1/2. I don't want to waste it. I also got their hand cream and their silicon primer. I used the hand cream last night, and did like how it felt. I used the primer this morning under foundation and it's amazing. I'm not sure if it was just the primer or the primer and having used the peeling stuff last night, but my skin looks so smooth today. I'm really impressed, and this stuff is not that expensive.

Ok, thanks, Loomie. Maybe I'll try their primer when I run out of what I currently have. I'm looking for a good, overall, inexpensive primer.

It's pretty strait forward.

Wash your face with something gentle (not exfoliating stuff) and then let it dry really well. Then just smear on the red goo.

I just sort of drop it directly onto my face and then use my fingers to spread it around. So I squeeze a few drops onto my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin and then smear until you look like you shoved your face into a raspberry pie. Wait 10 minutes and wash.

Fair warning, while you are rinsing it off if you happen to get it in your mouth, it tastes like salt and metal :(

Ok, so I just tried it. I give it a thumbs up.

It did not make my face red afterwards, just a nice pink glow, like I used a lot of blush. I like that the product itself is red because it makes it easier to see where you are putting it on your skin. I concentrated an extra drop or two on the milia areas.

It lessened the appearance of my milia, but not the milia itself. Those are tough little buggers, so I suppose additional applications will help. Still, lessening the appearance is certainly a plus as they tend to still appear unless I wear a heavy foundation, which I don't like to do on a regular basis. On a regular day, I usually like to get away with a BB or CC cream and some powder or even a tinted moisturizer and powder.

It also brought a lot of pore gunk to the surface which I was able to get to with a pore extractor.

Face is definitely smooth.

I'm going to try it again in two or three days.

Hey, for $7, I think it's a keeper.

How long did the pink glow last? I’m interested in trying this product. I use a few of their products already and love them.

It only lasted about 15 minutes. I actually needed to put on makeup and leave the house and my light foundation covered it.

I am olive skinned. I don't know how long the pink/redness lasts on fairer complexions.

I don't know about this or The Ordinary in particular, but Paula's Choice has some good stuff for rosacea. Or, you could try The Ordinary 2% BHA/salicyclic acid solution, which is basically what the Paula's Choice line is based on and it's a lot cheaper at the Ordinary.

It wouldn't bother it or make it worse, but it probably wouldn't help it either.

The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% product would help, it is good for inflammation and hyperpigmentation.

And the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, too. That is the ingredient that is in most rosacea treatments.

And the Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA would be a good moisturizer to use if you have a lot of redness.

I haven't tried it, but I really want to. My shade was out of stock when I placed my last order :(

From what I have seen it has been pretty well reviewed, but I am super picky about foundation so we'll see. A lot of foundations that people love I hate.
