In the backseat of my car and fully visible to any nosy body who wishes to peak in are:

1. A canine backseat protection sheet
2. A doggie mattress
3. A doggie food/water bowl
4. Doggie toys/treats
5. A dog leash
6. The Club steering wheel safety lock jack (which I don't think I've used since the day I got it. I keep it in case I ever need to hit anyone over the head)

I hope none of these ever get me written up.

Nothing. I cleaned it out over the weekend and vacuumed the interior, it's spotless!

Now if you'd asked last week :ermm:

Actually I think that's it. The snow brush is in the front seat on the floor, the emergency kit is in the trunk.

A gallon of distilled water I keep forgetting to bring in the house and a bottle of water for my mother. The trunk looks like a homeless camp.

Middle row: pickles outgrown shoes, toque, and coat. Pickles carseat. A blue IKEA bag full of junk from my volunteer position. A big bubble wand. There's probably crackers and crumbs from Pickle.

3rd row: high back booster and a backless booster.

I really need to clean out my car but it's been way to effing cold. Duck winter.

Annoying, little twerp.
- Snow scraper.

- Headrests for back seats since back seats are folded down (you have to remove the headrests in order to fold the seats all the way down).

- Jumbo umbrella.

- Windshield washer fluid (I always keep a jug around - I go through that stuff fast!).

- Car towels (for when I have to lift the hood and refill my washer fluid).

A blanket and gloves with company logos on it that I just received. Reusable shopping bags.

My car has stayed relatively clutter free since I started using the girls car to shuttle DD to and from the barn.

It's pretty bare right now as I just had my car detailed.

Just my snow brush and this morning I put my boots in there to prepare for the 12"+ of snow we are expected to get starting tomorrow :O

Right. Your area will mostly get rain though, right? Just a couple of inches of snow for I thought...

Fingers crossed but even then, I'm so tired of mud but I'll take rain over snow.

A booster seat, a life jacket, and two sets of snorkeling gear.

And the cargo area has like half of everything I own.

My pink pussy hat and my snow brush, but that's because I put everything else in the trunk a couple of weeks ago so DS's girlfriend could ride back there.

Rolling convenience store, I kind of get.
Rolling dumpster? Nope. There was someone who would park at the grocery store where I used to live whose car was literally full of trash up to the window ledges in the back seat and in the front passenger seat.

Completely empty would be my preference. Over the years I've learned an umbrella is a must for tempermental Georgia weather. I don't do small umbrellas, I like the golf size ones so I choose black to match the black leather seats to make it less obvious. It actually irritates me when I look into the window and see it. :::grumble:::

I have a minivan, 3 teens, a tween, and a preschooler who thinks she's a teen.

There's no room on the seats for anything but people and one car seat.

Under the seats, and in the back hatch, well, that's a very different story.

Nothing. I drive a mini, the backseat is too small for anything. Now, in the passenger seat of my car I currently have: my gym bag, my lunch bag, groceries for our trip to the mountains, two bottles of proscecco, a poster for a work session I facilitated, gloves, toque and scarf.

A fuckton of crumbs. And probably some stray pencils/crayons. And I think I spotted a couple of kids magazines shoved in seat pockets.

ETA: I just read the other thread and would like to add, when I purchase scandalous feminine hygiene supplies, I keep them in the cargo area and out of sight so as not to offend anyone peering into my car windows. šŸ˜’

Me too. Though I think there is a random receipt that fell out of a bag and I haven't bothered to pick up.

I keep a bunch of crap in the trunk, though - reusable bags, emergency kit, wiper fluid, etc.

In my minivan, the row behind the driver's side is the kids' zone. It has their car seats and whatever else they leave there. I try to pretend that that zone does not exist.

In the back of the van, there are two saucer-shaped snow sleds, the top of a Rubbermaid tote, a bag of dog food, some spilled corn (animal feed), and a flash light.

My passenger side floorboard is kind of a black hole of receipts, empty Coke cans, trash, etc.

I really need to clean it all out.

Two carseats, blanket, stuffed animal, umbrella, snow brush, and whatever crap my kids have stuffed places. I know ds has a notebook and pencil. There should be an empty coffee can in case ds gets car sick but I must have thrown the old one away.

2 car seats, 2 blankets (because god forbid they share one) and a bunch of toys and papers they needed to bring with them. I need to clean out my car. I am getting my new car soon and I don’t want to transfer that much shit.

Seat for the mite and assorted kid crap. One jacket for me.

I have a half-vacuumed backseat - I used the vacuum at the car wash yesterday and it was too windy to open doors on both sides and create a wind tunnel. We got the passenger side and Mite’s seat. I’ll get the drivers side with the shop vac this weekend. I’m also getting Mite a new booster, so I’ll see what ā€œtreasuresā€ are under his current convertible seat.

Trunk items are a collapsible crate, the handiest thing ever, one of those large ikea bags - folded up, and an emergency jump starter. I hate jumping other cars so instead I offer the emergency jump starter. It was $100 and works great, stays charged forever.
