You’d have to climb over the knees of your pooping spouse to get a sweater. That’s a hard pass for me.

The bathroom/closet is a big issue

The living room is tiny and really has no place for a tv

The outside is very cute!

bedrooms are small. Now if the bed going in is a twin, the size is fine, but if it is a queen or even a double, it gets tight.

I don’t understand cramming three beds, 2 baths, the kitchen, living and dining all together on the ground floor while leaving all that finished “bonus” space upstairs. All the spaces downstairs are so small. It seems like a waste of square feet.

Bonus space is suggested future space to finish, and is what they use to try to sell floor plans. A lot of people (especially those on a limited budget) want to build a house that will fill their needs now, and still leave open the possibility of adding to it later. Adding additions is expensive, so it is attractive to have space already built in that you can finish later to increase your square footage.

The only thing I can think of is that since it's a 1.5 story house, the upstairs rooms probably have 5 foot ceilings along the front and back sides. I spent all of high school living in a room like that. It's not a deal breaker, but it's not the most efficient space to live in.
