You mentioned on a thread about a month back that you were a landscape architect. I'm looking at putting in a playground set in my backyard and need to properly level the ground before installing the equipment, and you said this is (part) of what you do. I was hoping to pick your brain and get some help in how to find someone qualified to do that work. I posted in my town's FB page for recommendations to do this work and I got two different recommendations. One recommended place never called me back (I left 2 messages) and the other came out to give me an estimate. The estimate came back at $5,000 (for removal of one small stump, grading the land, putting in railroad ties to boarder the area of 25.5' x 26.6', fill, top soil and playground mulch). I was hoping to get at least another estimate because I have no idea if this is reasonable or a high estimate for this work. How would I go about finding someone to do this work/give me an estimate? I thought you might be in my area (NJ, if I'm remembering correctly) and maybe you have some recommended, reputable companies/people? Thank you!! |
