Art thou furious? Advance upon me, brethren!
After the events of the Avengers, the nine realms are in chaos, including Midgard. Unknown to many, Loki had escaped his confinement. In this battle, Thor intercepts Johnny Blaze on the hunt of the Mercenary with a Mouth. Deadpool, eager to shake the Ghost Rider, and have some form of power against the Rider, finds himself unknowingly aligned with Loki, as he picks up what he assumes to be Mjolnir. Deadpool transforms into Thor-Pool (or Beta Ray Wade), and eventually battles Thor himself. Eventually Thor defeats Deadpool, but before any consequences can be dished out, Thor discovers that his ability to use the faux Mjolnir, as well as his relation to death may be an asset. - Previously, Jane Foster had died, and Loki had bound Jane's soul to his own. This pushed Death over the edge, and at numerous points, Demons, and monsters were attacking all over the world. Johnny Blaze sent as many as he could to the underworld, working with Deadpool, until Thor had returned from Muspelheim itself. Thor had dared to step into the fiery pits of Muspelheim itself, and gathered enough Scabrite - a metal similar to uru, and vibranium, to forge another hammer. Firestorm was blessed by Odin, and imbued with the spirit of a Ghost Rider. Any could pick up the hammer, as long as they had the strength to. They would be imbued with power. Strength, speed, stamina. All similar to that of Thor. The enchantment placed upon it, was one could only do good with the hammer. It was not capable of harming the innocent. The hammer itself was given to Deadpool, after having shown his versatility with Loki's faux Mjolnir. As a reward, and knowing the enchantment Thor had insisted be placed upon the hammer, he lets Deadpool keep it, knowing that when the time comes, he will have an ally in the Mercenary. As for the Rider, he is commended, and considered a friend to the Thunderer.

After saving the universe from Malekith, Thor returned to his duties as a protector of Midgard. While the nine realms saw Thor offer his life, and give his all to protect them, the message was largely unheard by many of the Alien colonies around the world. The Kree empire had wished to further its borders, and expand to take Earth. Earth was sort of a main station of space travel, and from it's position, many worlds could easily be reached. None was more fit to defend the Earth, than Thor himself. The Thunderer gathered together a team, each member with their own area of expertise. Doctor Strange, Hercules; Hulk, the Silver Surfer and Thor took to the outside, and would buy the other heroes the time they needed to end this threat. - Battling insurmountable odds, and battling the Kree Armada. Meanwhile a ground party, led by Sif, that contained Ms.Marvel; Iron Man, Spider Man; Black Widow and Ant-Man, took to the Kree compound. The All-seeing Sentry - Heimdall - had guided his sister's path, and brought the second team into contact with the Kree Supreme Intelligence. Attempting to reason with the Supreme Intelligence had failed, and the ground team did what they needed to do, to remove the Kree threat. The Supreme Intelligence was permanently silenced to the combined workings of the strike team. The Kree Armada was called to halt their attack, as the Silver Surfer came into contact with the Kree's general. Impressed with the human's strength, Ronan spared the people of Midgard, and both promised a truce to its delegates. He would not attack Earth anymore. Instead, he would attempt to further grow his people, now that the Supreme Intelligence had been killed.

With his return to Earth, the people of Midgard questioned his presence, and rightfully so. To answer it's politicians, Thor selected a single Asgardian resident to act as a representative of Asgard, that would live upon Midgard. Freya was chosen, and Tony Stark offered her refuge at Stark Tower. Months had passed, with Freya being a picture perfect resident of society, and even growing close with many of the Midgardian heroes. However, after befriending a villain, and attempting to change his path - Freyia is left holding the bag, as Taskmaster takes advantage of her kindness. He uses her to escape the Raft. Freyia turns herself in, on Thor's recommendation - insisting that she follow the laws that Mortals have laid out before her. In this process she catches a break, and ends up having Matt Murdock - a blind, but unrivaled lawyer in the Hell's Kitchen community.

With the Kree threat passed, Thor turns his focus to Midgard once more. Facing down the Wrecking Crew, Thor easily overpowers and defeats many of his enemies. Though, New York is a hub of the world, Thor ventures all across it. Bringing rain to drought fallen areas, answering the prayers of those who pray to him, for strength, or courage. This brings Thor to a prison, where he meets a man upon death row. With all of his travels eventually, Thor stumbles across a rip in space time, and through it, the tyrant. The King Hyperion, last survivor of his world comes through. Noticing the evil in his eyes, and his soul, Thor partakes in a battle. King Hyperion taunts the Thunderer, knowing that his love of Earth is going to lose him this battle. Knowing what this Hyperion says is truth, Thor teleports the pair of them light years away from Earth, at the very limits of the universe itself. On a stray unoccupied planet, Thor and Hyperion battle for their lives, with Hyperion getting the upperhand. Help, in the form of the Enchantress came at his time of need. Amora exerted herself, and her magics long enough for Thor to hit this King Hyperion with a Godblast. Hyperion is disintegrated into nothing. Amora doesn't stick around, she disappears soon after, but leaves Thor thankful. Shortly after, he returns to Earth. In the Nevada desert, Thor comes to meet the strongest force he has yet to come across. The Juggernaut. After trading blows all over Las Vegas, Thor finds he is unable to defeat his enemy. His blows simply not affecting the Unstoppable Monster. Using Mjolnir, he manages to absorb the Juggernauts force shield, and finally defeats his foe, leaving him unconscious. Thor brings Juggernaut to the raft, and he is processed and taken in. It doesn't take long for the Juggernaut to escape the Raft, and soon finds himself against Thor once more. This time, however - the Thunderer strikes Juggernaut so hard, he's sent into the far reaches of space.

After his near week long battle with the Juggernaut in the city of Las Vegas, and much further out, within it's desert, Thor returns to Scandinavia. He returns to a spot he knew once, in his youth. The remnants of Odin's temple in Uppsala. There's nothing left here, but stone pillars, and an altar to his father. Even Odin's statue has been torn down by the crusading Christians. It is here, he recalls Thialfi. However, something is unrested in Thor. Taking refuge under a giant oak, he decides to close his eyes, and rest. It is here, Thor is visited in a dream by his former lover - and prison escapee. Amora. Upon awaking, Thor confronts Amora, knowing she was close by. And much to his surprise, she begs for his assistance. Claiming that the Allfather has put a price upon her head. Moments after making her presence known, members of Asgards armies descend from the bi-frost, demanding Thor turn over Amora. Knowing that he should simply give in, he cannot deny how out of character it is for Amora to be seeking his help. Thor battles his friends, with a growing feeling developing, knowing that something is off kilter, but unsure of what.

Thor takes Amora under his wing, and this sets off a major fight with the woman he is currently with, Sif. Seeking a safe place, out from even the eyes of Heimdall, Thor enters the Savage Lands. While here, he stumbles upon an A.I.M. base. Curious of what it is, Thor enters the lone building in the middle of a jungle. Meeting immediate hostility, Thor with Amora by his side fights back, and soon the base is overrun, leaving none inside. Upon further inspection, Thor meets another superhero. Hyperion. Thor had done battle with King Hyperion, and though he is untrusting at first, the kind eyes of this Hyperion lead the Thunderer to give the man a chance. The AIM base is where the three call home, for the time being. Hyperion and Thor become close, like brothers. Even referring to Thor as his brother. Thor is elated to have such an ally upon his side. One night, Balder arrives, and has sent word of Odin's decree. Amora must be returned, or Sif will be slain in her place.

After some convincing, Thor and Amora return to Asgard. Amora in chains, does not appear to go willingly. Once Sif is brought out, and exchanged for Amora, Amora uses a spell that breaks the illusion that was cast, showing she was not in chains. Her orders are to remove Sif from the area, and for herself to disappear to Midgard. However, in this moment, it is revealed that not Odin, but Loki is alive and upon the throne. Upon the verge of an emotional breakdown, Thor fights his little brother once more, but finds Loki too strong. He's somehow empowered with the Odinforce. Their battle wages all over Asgard, with both Amora, and Sif trying to assist Thor. It isn't until Thor crashes into the world tree, that he notices what his brother has done. With Amora and Sif distracting Loki, Thor grips upon the faux world tree, and tears it from the ground, allowing the true world tree to re-grow almost instantly in it's place, and leaving Loki at the limits of his original powers. Amora is pardoned of her crimes, for her assistance and Loki has been returned to the dungeon. Thor leaves Asgard in the capable hands of Balder, as he returns to Midgard while Odin is in the middle of the Odinsleep.

For a time, Thor remained away from Asgard. Unable to face the truth of his father's passing. Yet, he begins to see Odin in his dreams, and later even hallucinations. Thor sets off, traversing the nine realms. Seeking for where his father may be held captive. Weeks, and months pass by, and still Thor is unable to find his father. Truthfully, the burden of the throne isn't something he's ready for. Unfortunately for Thor, Sif appears. Sent down from Asgard, warning Thor of the oncoming dangers. Ragnarok is ahead. May Odin help them all.

Upon arriving to Asgard, after saying his goodbyes to his friends. Thor immediately destroys the bi-frost. He will not let his enemies use such a power, if they prevail. Thor tries t o relax, and sleep - but nothing will come to him. He lays awake at night, night after night. When the day approaches, he steels himself. Hardening himself emotionally for the battle to come. Surtur and his fire demons along with the twilight sword will undoubtedly be the fight of his life, let alone Ymir and his frost giants approaching from the north. Asgard is doomed!

The twilight of the Gods arrives. Both Surtur and Ymir approach from opposite sides. Surtur and the Fire Demons strike first. Asgard, and it's army war for days, knowing an even more difficult challenge in the Frost Giants awaits them in battle. These are no mere rock trolls. Yet, bathed in blood and burns, the Asgardians force forward until only Surtur stands before him. With no Odin at his side, Thor and the combined might of his Asgardians are able to fend off Surtur. Yet, as they do so, their flanks fall to the attacking giants in the rear. Death is all around. Even the Warriors Three are overwhelmed, and killed. With a battlefield of blood and bodies, Thor and his remaining Asgardians stand tall against the allied forces of Surtur and Ymir. Only Thor, Amora, Sif, Valkyrie, Heimdall, Balder and Valoren still draw breath, yet their combined battlecry is enough to force fear into the hearts of the remaining giants. Finally, with only the two monsters left, the Asgardians approach the gods before them with a new vision. A new unimaginable reality. They can win this.

The final plan of the Fire Demon, and Ice Monster are relayed to their opponents. All hope is ripped from Thor's lungs as he lays his eyes upon his end. The Corporeal form of the Midgard Serpent himself. The remaining Asgardians are paired off, and fight together. Heimdall, Amora and Sif valiantly fight to their ends against Ymir. Valkyrie, Balder and Valoren combine their efforts against Surtur, while Thor single handedly faces down the Midgard Serpent. Each is able to delay their enemies, but each is simply too much. Amora and Sif both die back to back as allies. Valkyrie and Balder succumb to a fiery death at the hands of Surtur. - A single glance back in the middle of his struggle witnesses Heimdall being stabbed through by multiple blades of ice. All is lost. His allies are dead - it is now his time.

Flung into the air, Thor prepares for his fate. He closes his eyes, and readies himself for the embrace of death - only for it not to come. Instead, a daring leap from Valoren knocks Thor from the Serpents path, and he is ingested instead. Using the previously lent axe Jarnbjorn, Valoren slices his way through the Midgard serpent and kills him. The death of his younger sibling awakens the Odinforce inside of Thor, and leaves his blood boiling. His pupils disappear from his eyes, and Thor extends both of his hands, summoning Mjolnir to one of them.

On Deadpool's mantle sits the warhammer, Firestorm. It's grown dusty by this point, however - remains a point of personal pride to the Merc with a mouth. It comes alive, and launches itself from Midgard at impossible speeds. Traveling Galaxies in mere seconds, Firestorm arrives in Thor's hand aside from Mjolnir. With the two hammers, Thor battles back against each of the monsters. The scabrite hammer managing well against Surtur, while Mjolnir fends off Ymir. It seems to be even too much for Thor. Until he fires back with all of his heart and soul - refusing to let those he loved die in vain. Creating just enough space, Thor summons a Godblast that shakes the very core of reality. The power of Odin, Vili and Ve power his awesome Godblast, and it leaves both dead. Somehow, he'd won the day. Somehow, the realms would go on. None would sing songs of this day however. Falling to his knees, overcome by grief - Thor falls to his knees, and simply ceases to exist. Thor, Asgard. The remains of their great battle all disappear, leaving only the two hammers floating in space.

Years later, Firestorm manages to drag Mjolnir back to Earth, to it's original master and owner, Deadpool. Hyperion - now a full fledged Avenger - quickly spots, and seeks out the hammer of his deceased friend. Getting into somewhat of a fight over the hammer, eventually the pair touch Mjolnir, and are transported to the void, where they come across Thor himself. After a rousing speech from both Hyperion and Deadpool, Thor decides it's time his family and friends get to experience a life without fate. Without Ragnarok constantly hovering over their heads.

Returning with a loud clap of Thunder, Thor breathes in the air once more. One of the first beings Thor runs into is his brother. Alive and well in Brazil, Thor recruits the help of Loki, who's no longer tied to the ying and yang of good and evil that fate tied him to. Instead Thor recruits his brother to help him find the missing Asgardians. One by one, Thor awakens them, but not before purchasing a plot of land in Oklahoma where he erects the New Asgard.
