The Tauvesa are an Inusannon race from the planet Kastro. They are best known for their notoriously short temper and their brutality in combat. They are allied with the Inusannon although the two groups have a long history of hostility and aggression. Their fleets are no match for Elminon ships and are used mostly to transport their troops to different planets. They strongly believe that each individual be free to choose his or her own path. They possess thick plates of chitin on their skin and are a strange fusion of insect and bird. The Tauvesa were originally envisioned as a Batarian-style rogue state but when the Inusannon and the Elminon started attacking each other there was not much room for rogue states. Consequently the Tauvesa became loosely affiliated with the Inusannon. They are actually a strange mashup of two previous races: the insectoid incarnation of the Jikari and the dearly departed Delwyn who turned out essentially as a copy of the Turians. |
