CNN: Tuchanka Liberated! Empire and Allied Krogan Forces to Assist Hierarchy In a sea of reports coming in of nothing but lost ground, massive losses of life, destruction of property, and general despair, a beacon of hope shines brightly in the most unlikely of locations in the galaxy. Tuchanka, the krogan homeworld, has officially been liberated from the Reaper threat by Imperial Forces at the command of Imperial Warmaster Ravanor Xarak. A quick, decisive, and brutal campaign overwhelmed Reaper forces with minimal losses, boosting krogan morale, as well as picking up several allies along the way in the independent clans yet to join the Empire. The largest being that of one of its greatest opposition, Clan Kolvant. Ultimate victory was declared with an unexpected twist of assistance from one of Tuchanka’s own native inhabitants revered by the local populous, Kalros, the fabled Mother of all Thresher Maws on Tuchanka. The Destroyer-class Reaper was defeated when Krogan forces managed to summon the Thresher Maw and constrict the enemy walker-like Reaper to drag down beneath Tuchanka’s surface. No further sightings of the reaper have been reported since and Imperial forces are wrapping up clean-up operations on the last planet-side Reaper forces. As per the agreement for the lifting of the DMZ over Tuchanka, the Krogan Empire is fulfilling its side of the bargain and preparing to assist the Hierachy on Palaven, which has borne the full brunt of a Reaper force since the first day of the invasion. |
