Welcome to the Matamani Beginner Guidelines. These guidelines contain basic tips towards posting on our forums. These tips aren't rules, but please take them into account when you post. You won't be warned if you do one of these things, unless you continue. You'll just get a PM about it and we'll show you this topic if it's your first time. Posting - You may post in colours, but not in red as this is used by moderators. - Do not go off-topic in your posts. If you want to say something to someone that isn't related to the topic, PM them. - Try to work on your spelling, grammar and punctuation as hard as you can. Even if English isn't your main language, please try. If you are particularly unconfident about your English, you can use an online translator such as Google Translate. - When posting in topics, be sure to read the latest comments. You never know - a question that you were going to ask may have already been answered. - Don't have too many emoticons in a comment, as it can be annoying to read. However, in the spam forum we allow you to go a bit crazy! - When posting pictures, be sure to remember that this is a family-friendly site. If you are posting about a game/movie that is a 15/18 please specify in the topic description. - Try to choose your words carefully - things can be misinterpreted on the internet. Likewise, if you think a comment is rude or insulting please don't respond angrily; PM a member of staff. - When quoting a post that has a lot of pictures in it, remove the links to the pictures. If you want to say something about one of the pictures, just keep that link and delete all the others. - When posting, try not to use "u" instead of you, or "4" instead of for. -The Matamani Staff- Edited by Clyff, Mar 14 2012, 08:08 PM.
