Do you celebrate holidays at this time of the year? Channukah? Christmas? Kwanzaa? Answer the poll, and post the names.

I've seen Hanukkah spelled Hanukkah, Chanukkah, and Chanuka, but not Channukah. Although it could be. It doesn't really matter, because the real word is in Hebrew, and so not in the English alphabet.

Oh, and I celebrate Chanukkah and Christmas, like Thalia.

Why do people celebrate Christian AND Jewish holidays? Pick a religion, people!

That was an impressive mangling of English...anyway, sort of. As a family, we celebrate both, but my mom runs Hanukkah, Passover, Yom Kippur, etc. And we don't really have a religious Christmas.

Why thank you.

Well, Christmas isn't really religious anymore.

I've never heard of anyone celebrating Hanukkah "just because". I thought it was just Christmas.
