What makes Kwanza different is that it is not a religious holiday but most people think that it is. I celebrate xmas.

True....you learn something every day. I had always thought it was just something like christmas or Chanukkah as well.

Don't they say 'xmas' a lot in Britain?

You "pitty" Edward? I always thought it was "pity". Interesting.

Kwanzaa is spelled Kwanzaa, not Kwanza. My friend once spelled it Quanza. I shouldn't laugh, but...

If you KNOW that shoor is a misspelling of sure, SAY SURE.

It comes out the same, but spelling has RULES.

You could spell Hanukkah like this: Haahnnuewckaah.

Ah, but the spelling of Hanukkah and other words that were originally in Hebrew don't really. As long as you can get what the word is, it's OK. :ppbbhtt: :ppbbhtt: :ppbbhtt:

Eye khooohddh spel stough liek thiss iff eye whahnhtedh.

But you shouldn't.

And, SmileyFace, I don't think the words have to be different. But your post had 4 different words anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
