Dogs or Cats?

Calmer? Are you kidding? My dog sleeps on the couch most of the day. My dog has never mauled anyone. (She weighs 15 pounds, but she's still VERY friendly.) So what if cats are cheaper? Dogs are more expensive because they are worth more. Cats are not more fun to play with. Cats don't even like people. They are certainly not more tolerant. A dog is noisy because it's trying to protect the house, even though they rarely are protecting you from anything. A cat wouldn't do it because they wouldn't care.

What?! Cats aren't mean, my cat LOVES my brother, she lets him pet her, and she always sits on his desk, and such. Once a cat finds someone they like, they'll stick to that person. But dogs just jump on everyone and try ro maul half of them.

You sterotyping rascist! And I'm allergic to cats, therefore, although they are smarter, in general than dogs (and all cats are definitely smarter than at least one of my dogs, although the other is incredibly smart), I must pick dogs. Or llamas, I suppose...

I DO NOT LIKE CAMELS ONE BIT!!! Besides, it's bad if cats only like one person. Most dogs like many different people.

So they are non-commital? At least cats actually are LOYAL.

But not very loyal, cats are extremely loyal.

You make loyalty sound so good. In reality, "loyalty" in cats means simply that one person and one person only may be graced with the cat's affection. This is a good thing...why?

Because cats are fun and nice and soft.

My dog fits all these qualities much more than your or any other cat ever can.

I bet you don't know any cats, and your opinion is biased. Now, back to what I had said earlier: both have pros and cons.

My neighbor has two cats, and my violin teacher has five. I like them and all that, but they can't compare to dogs.
