Oh....you're welcome...

Isn't that like the commonly accepted term now? Why wouldn't people use it?

Well: SmileyFace and I were arguing about which are better, then Thalia brought up pygmy marmosets, which led me to start talking about other animals, especially sloths. Edward then came in with 'ninja monkies', but eventually we all came back to sloths. Then Moderation came in and threatened to warn Thalia for flaming. Edward eventually realized I was Moderation (it took a while). Peter (SvenN) cut in again randomly about sloths, which led us on to talk about classifications of animals. Then I mentioned more about classifications, using 'BCE', which led to Thalia thanking me for using that phrase, which led to me replying, which led to you wondering at us.

Hmmm....in afterthought, that isn't much clearer, is it?

I don't think anything in answer to that question could be clear, but it was better than reading all five pages of this thread.

Edwardted:

1. Also called interrogation point, interrogation mark. a mark indicating a question: usually, as in English, the mark (?) placed after a question.
(That is from dictionary.reference.com.) Now that I was so kind as to tell you what a question mark is and when it is used, try USING THEM.

vwilliams: I always thought dogies was spelled doggies. Maybe it can be both, seeing as I think it's made up. Oh well.

Hmm? To whom were you directing that first statement at?

I commend you for attempting to refuse to end your sentence with a preposition. Thank you. But you can't have that "at" at the end. You can say "To whom were you directing that statement?" or "At whom were you directing that statement?"

I did read the post, and I already knew the rules, but what is the point of conformation?
