Why is Harry Potter coupled with so many things by 'and', why couldn't any of them be stand alone? And what is so special about Harry Potter? Posted Image

They can't stand alone because it's assumed that if they did, the general public wouldn't know the books are about Harry Potter.
And I read that Harry Potter is so well-loved because it's set in our world. We like to think that the world's problems are caused by some evil villain and that there's a new hero who will save the world and make everything better. It's different from LOTR, Eragon, Tamora Pierce, Philip Pullman, etc., because all of them are set in some distant time and place. We can connect with Harry Potter in a way that we can't with other characters, no matter how real they seem.
I don't really agree with all that, but that's the theory.

It's set in OUR world? I've never been to Hogwarts, I don't know about you.

Hogwarts is not in our world, but it's in England, which is generally agreed to be in our world. And just because one hasn't been somewhere doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I've never heard of it. And who proved the axiom, then?

Since when is Harry Potter supposed to be funny?

And, Edward, in the English language, questions are generally followed by question marks. That's why they're called question marks. An example of a question is, "Is that supposed to be funny?" Note the fishhook punctuation mark at the end. That's a question mark. I understand that, in your 8+ years of education, you may not have heard of it. That's why I'm telling you now. Use it!
