Edwardted that was purely unnecessary and useless, and you know it.
It is against the law to...
-catch a fish with a lasso in Tennessee (The All-New Book of Lists for Kids)
-put pennies in your ears in Hawaii (see above)
-have a bathtub in your house in Virginia (Wacky Laws, Weird Decisions, and Strange Statutes)
-hunt for whales off the coast of Oklahoma (see above)

You can't have a tub in your house in VA? Or go whaling near Oklahoma?!! But I like whaling off the coast of landlocked Oklahoma.

Apparently not. Unfortunately, it makes my immediate family criminals, but I don't think the police are enforcing that anytime soon. I wonder if it applies to apartments?

Michel, you are actually in luck because now you can go whaling off the coast of Oklahoma. At one point it was against the law, though. However, if you do go to Oklahoma, remember never to give liquor to a fish. It's illegal. And when you go there, don't curl your hair-unless you have a license to do so.(Wacky Laws, Weird Decisions, and Strange Statutes).

These are two bathtub laws in Virginia:
-"Those in the state of Virginia who own bathtubs must pay a $30 levy for each."
-"It's illegal in Virginia to take a bath in a tub if the tub is located in any room attached to the house."
(Wacky Laws, Weird Decisions, and Strange Statutes)

No, I'm almost sure there's one about not having bathtubs in the house.

Oh, I found it:

Having a bathtub in your house in the state of Virginia is forbidden. It must be kept in the yard.

SmileyFace, if you were wondering, it's on page 20, line 23.

Yes, I can see how having a tub in the yard is better than in the house.
