Hi, as you can see, I am Mach990. I'm OK at math but not really so great. If there are any tech things that you need help with on these forums though, I could help you. I've used invisionfree before and I tend to be pretty good with website related things. If theres a code for something you want, I can get it for you and put it in the tags. |

Well hello there! Even though there are 6,400+ posts, there aren't all that many active members right now...only 2 others post all that much, but there will be certainly more if more people join. What math do you know about, though? What are you studying now? |

Welcome mach990! I think that I'm one of the 2 that admin mentioned... You mentioned codes; what kinds of codes are you good at? HTML, javascript, or what? Or did you mean relating to invisionfree? |

Well codes as in.. relating to invisionfree, but I am also quite good at codes that use html or javascript. Basically I know alot about html and javascript but I'm only just starting to learn css. I find css to be quite difficult. I'd say i'm best at html, though it does have limitations. Admin: I'm studying algebra at the moment. |

Also I see that there's alot of posts and a decent amount of users. I know what its like. (some of them might have made duplicate accounts (easy to detect with the IP tool)) I'd also like to compliment you on some of the website features. That banner is very nice, but I might suggest a backround with a little more color (just my opinion). I found those user ranks quite funny. I don't think mine (smarter than the average amoeba) is quite accurate.. I wouldn't say I'm quite thaaat intelligent  On a few other notes, I have a question... Why is all the text that is posted.. Centered?! :wacko: PS: is it possible that I could see the admin cp? I won't change anything, I just want to see what you have set up. You don't have to grant me access or anything, I just think I might be able to help you out a little. |

Well, if you need any help with CSS, just ask! It's pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. Just think of it as an extension of good 'ole HTML. Also, in response to the multiple users theory, sorry to disappoint you, but they're all unique. Their IPs show up (like you said) with the IP tool, thanks anyhoo. I dunno about the admin CP thing, I only double as a mod (I wouldn't want to overstep my powers). You'd have to PM Admin about that. |

Thats what I meant as in centered
 It does that in Internet Explorer and AOL. I wanted access to the admin cp just to have a look at your css basically to find out why its centered. Also I could add a few codes that I found to be realiable. Examples of these would be... Codes for changing the skin based on time, a way to add more games to your arcade, a skin changer, disabling things like right clicking, etc etc. I won't change anything without your permission though. Either way I believe there is an undo tool down in the admin logs ( I could be confusing invisionfree with invision power board) |

Oh I have a question too.. on the math for smarty pants Prime Number calculator... 1) Did you guys make it yourselves? 2) Was my IP really logged? 3) If above was true, was it logged upon entering the calculator or upon viewing the source? |

You'll notice that the copyright notice is on the top of every page, not just the Prime Number Calculator
. I scripted the Prime Number calculator myself. Michel hasn't written any script for the website, though: he's just an admin on these forums (Under the account 'Moderation') and a beta tester in general. IP addresses are logged by the server, but that would only be used in case of attempted hacking, etc. The other main place that IP Addresses are logged is on the Contact page. If you send an email to me with the form, it sends your IP address along with the message. This is to prevent spam from robots (before I added the security image, or CAPTCHA, I once got 200 emails from a spambot). The forums should now be fixed in IE, but, like Michel, I strongly encourage you to Get Firefox. It's more reliable, safer, has much better support for web standards, and much more. |

 Yes, the forums are fized now though. Interesting! So michel is the user 'moderation' as well? Cool. Thats a neat script you wrote. I don't understand some parts of it, but I'll eventually get it! If theres any questions you have, I'm here. Also, I'm testing out some codes on my invision power board at the moment. Supposedly there's a skin that changes based on time of day... I've only seen one phase so far. If you want to look at it, its URL is: Here! Ignore the posts on there if you do decide to visit it. The only things you might be interested in are the arcade, army game thing, and possibly the reputation. |
