MAY 19TH 4PM It was just another day at Aiya for Kanji. He was dressed in his summer outfit, it was already starting to get hot outside. Being a tanktop with a flaming skull design and black, ragged jeans. He felt slightly empty as he stared into the large bowl of Aiya. Honestly, things haven't been spicing up lately, and it wasn't good. He should be in the TV, training for this whole tournament thing that freaking Teddie was spouting about. What the hell was that about anyways? Was he on something? He didn't believe that there was any drugs that existed in the Midnight Channel, but still. A tournament? For what? Whatever it was, he didn't care. He'd finally get to taste fighting again, how sweet that used to be. He was reminiscing about the times when he was with Yu-Senpai, and all the others, fighting against shadows, crawling large dungeons just to get to the point where they would face the boss at the end. Indeed, those were the good days. But those were long gone. Look at him, thinking about things as though he were old when these events merely ended just about two months ago. Yet, two monthes strangely felt like two damn years. He wondered if Yu-senpai got the invite too. Would he return to Inaba? The thought of Senpai returning brought Kanji extreme joy. He simled to himself, but just as quickly, he shook away the smile. Now was no time for dreaming like some teenage girl. Besides, he was supposed to be a fucking man. He began to clench his fists, only to relax them soon afterwords. Remembering the things that Yu-Senpai told him. A true man, stands up for his friends, and doesn't let anything cloud his true objective. Smirking to himself, he sighed. Yu wasn't even here, and yet still, he was the only one to comfort him, despite being in the shape of thoughts. He paid for the noodles as he hopped off of the stool, stretching around a bit as he waved over at Aika. "See you around Aika." She nodded emotionlessly as usual. Strange girl, one of the few girls that Kanji didn't feel weird around. "Now... where to go..." He whispered to himself. He didn't want to call Yosuke, to this day, he still pokes fun at his insecurities. And he felt that it'd be awkward if he just called Amagi and Satonaka-senpai. He didn't want to put up with Rise right now.... the only choice being Naoto. Kanji's eyes widnended as he opened his phone. The cursor highlighted Naoto Shirogane, but just before he was about to touch the call button. He quickly exited out. "What the hell..." He said as he exited the restaurant. "There's nothing to fucking do around here. I might as well join that gang again." He said in a fit of rage as suddenly, taking a few steps out of Aiya. He felt something echo deep inside of him, disembodied voices rang and reverberated throughout his head. His pale gray eyes widened as suddenly, he realized that he was surrounded by mist. "The hell?" This wansn't mist, no, it was too familiar for that... it was..... fog? How can that be? Didn't they kick that crazy fog goddess bitch's ass months ago? He thought that all traces of fog had disappeared. Aparently not. "Shit." He muttered before dodgerolling out of the way of two silhouettes. He saw two shadows, materializing and oozing out of the ground, just like when they were inside the TV. He quickly reached for his pocket. "Never thought I'd use these outside of the TV." He muttered as he slipped on his shades that Teddy had given him. His vision clearing as the shadows were no longer mere silhouettes. "Damn, still as ugly as usual." He said with a smirk as he cracked his knuckles. "Let's see if I still got it. Here goes..." He stood his ground, twisting his foot into the asphault as he screamed out. "Come on down... PERSONA!" He roared as lightning shot down, and he became engulfed with blue light, his arcana tarot card appeared before him. He then crushed it by punching the card, shattering it into millions of pieces. "Crush'em... Rokuten Maoh!" And just like that, his persona materialized right before Kanji, he smirked at his beloved Persona. "Hey there sweetheart. Miss me?" The Persona turned to look at him as Kanji smirked. "Course not. You were here this whole time... now... I'll send you to hell!" He screamed again as Rokuten charged at the shadows. |

A year...a long year had passed since the events of what had happened in Iwatadoi. The defeat of Nyx and Erebus, the sealing of humanity's desire for destruction; all of that had happened a year ago. So why did she still hurt? That was a stupid question, she told herself; she knew why it still hurt. Minato was trapped, acting as the seal to keep humanity from being wiped out. If she could figure out a way to cause humanity to not want to get wiped off the face of the Earth, Minato could come back to them, to her. That was what the blonde-haired girl in a blue dress was telling herself as she walked through the shopping district; Iwatadoi had been big on shopping too, if she remembered right. Yes, she did remember right; it was like she was back in Iwatadoi, except without Minato there. She tried her best to keep the Persona User out of her mind as she walked; there was no need to depress herself. No, she had to be positive, for his sake; if she continuously told herself that Minato wasn't there, that Minato was gone, how would she ever fulfill her last promise to him? The one to protect him? She could still do that, couldn't she? Protect Minato? As she walked, she realized that yes she could; all she needed was to get the metallic box. She felt a bit bad about that, however; Aigis wasn't a fool, and she did know Mitsuru. She knew the box was related to the Kirijo family in some way; she knew that both Mitsuru and Akihiko were in this very same city too. Where, though...? She didn't know, and she didn't have an easy way of contacting them either; she dearly wished she did, because with the three of them, her goal would be easier to accomplish. That was when the fog began to roll in, thicker than she had seen it before. She frowned. Again her theory of the shadows came to mind; that these shadows manifested in this strange fog rather than in The Dark Hour. Did The Dark Hour even exist in this place? She didn't know, but she would find out soon enough; it was inevitable that she would be out after dark, after all, and when that time came, she would learn whether The Dark Hour was universal or not. Right then, however, there was something more important to focus on, namely the sounds up ahead. She could see three outlines in the fog up ahead, and two of them seemed a bit...odd, twisting. She remembered shadows and how they moved; the beings she saw were definitely shadows. Before she could call forth Athena, a brilliant burst of life appeared around the other silhouette, the one that she guessed was not a shadow; what did this mean? She peered curiously, and then she heard the words that were said, something about Rokuten Maoh. She did not recognize the name at all, but she did recognize the fact that this was a Persona; the energy she could feel from it was proof enough of that. In addition, she could also tell based on the name; many Personas tended to have strange names not common anymore. Thirdly, it had appeared after its name was shouted; she recalled how Mitsuru, Akihiko, and the others had manifested their Personas. They had "shot" themselves in the head with an Evoker, sometimes calling out their Personas' names, sometimes not. Either way, this was extremely similar to that, except she never saw the blast from the muzzle shattering this person's psyche and releasing his persona, nor did she see the silhouette perform the motions to do so either. Still, she couldn't just stand by and watch this happen, even if he did seem to have a Persona; she moved forward quickly. "Persona!" Aigis cried out, and shards burst around her for a moment before Pallas Athena rose up, her spear and shield seeming to gleam through the fog. Her clothes billowed as well, though that was likely for more dramatic effect than anything else. A moment later, Athena rushed forward towards the two shadows as well and cut into them with a Heat Wave, enveloping the both of them in the attack. With luck, the male's Persona would not get caught in it, though that was unlikely; Aigis was experienced at this, and had yet to get her allies caught in her own attack. |

As Rokuten Maoh was about to obliterate the shadows, he heard a female voice shouting, Persona, just as he had a few moments ago. It was at this moment that he took a moment to try and process the voice through his brain, was it Amagi-senpai? Or Satonaka-senpai? Maybe even Naoto. It couldn't be Rise because she can't do shit besides being support. It was then that through the thick fog that a persona, that in Kanji's eyes, resembled a knight, warrior thing of sorts from a video game, almost like a templar or a sentinel. "The fu-" Before he could finish his cursing, surprised from the unfamiliar persona, he saw a figure in the distance, a blonde girl, a stranger. "Who the hell-" Once again interrupted, He felt the temperature getting hot as Rokuten Maoh jumped out of the way of the other Persona's attack. What the hell was going on? "Rokuten Maoh!" He shouted, calling him to come nearer, the shadows that were engulfed in the attack were still standing. Much to Kanji's surprise, they were quite resilient weren't they. He then looked over at the unfamilar girl and yelled at her in an angry tone. "Hey you crazy bitch, it's my damn kill so back off. You can't do shit anyways." He said vulgarly, slightly annoyed. "Do I look like I need saving?" He screamed as he looked back up at Rokuten Maoh. "Let's go! Rokuten Maoh!" He cried once more as he himself ran towards one of the shadows, jumping in the air as he landed a punch on one of them to the face. His knuckles ached and stung but the force sent the shadow backwards by a bit. Rokuten Maoh then readied his katana. "Get Bent! Let's do this! Ziodyne!" He casted as thunder rained down on the shadow before him, not doing much damage but enough to make another opening. Kanji waved his arm in a motion in which Rokuten Maoh understood, initiating Primal Force, bashing his katana against the shadow. He was surprised that it wasn't crushed, but he could tell that it was slowly wearing down. "Damn these things are strong." Was Kanji rusty? He remembered taking down an army of shadows, what was this? He noticed the other shadow went passed the other girls persona and went straight for her. His eyes widened. "HEY! Watch out!" |

This man was...just a tad irritating. She smiled a bit at that thought; in actuality, he was a lot like Junpei had been, before the events with Chidori had happened. He seemed to think he could take on anything, no matter what the circumstances were; he also seemed to refuse her aid, even though he seemed to need it, based on how strong the shadows were. She also found it amusing what he was saying to her, considering he didn't even know who she was; amusement was in short supply for her lately too, so she thanked the man for his rash words. After the attack went off, Athena returned, nearing closer to Aigis as she stepped forward, her dress billowing slightly due to the intense nature of the attacks going down near the shadows. There was, however, one thing that she definitely was not amused about, and that was the fact that the shadows were still standing somehow. She was a bit confused by that; she rarely met shadows that were capable of taking an assault from Athena by that. She narrowed her eyes at the creatures, watching them even as the male attacked them both with his fists, and the spells of his Persona. Although neither of them knew it, she was wondering the same thing as the man; was she out of shape? She hadn't done this in so very long; when was the last time she had fought a shadow, anyway? At least a year ago, back in Tartarus, had been the last time, and those shadows hadn't been as strong as the ones in front of her right then. Still, even so, it seemed that the assault they were launching against the shadows seemed to be working; rather, the assault this man was launching. She wondered if he was right, if, perhaps, she couldn't do anything, before she tossed the useless thought aside. She had a goal to accomplish. Thinking like that, thinking she couldn't do anything, would be like Minato never having sacrificed himself for the world's sake. No, she could do something, she was sure of that much. Aigis directed Athena to help Rokuten Maoh take down the shadow he was targeting, and during that time, movement burst forth, managing to worm its way around Athena; it was a shadow. She stared it down, even as the man warned her about the oncoming creature. This was the one that hadn't gotten very damaged yet, at least not by both Athena and Rokuten Maoh; if she wanted to wipe it out... "Activating Orgia Mode." was what Aigis said, and what all the combatants could probably hear. A moment later, light surrounded her, and she raised her hand towards the oncoming shadow. In place of her ordinary hand, at least ordinary for her, was a rocket. Without a word, the anti-shadow exterminator let the rocket fire, and watched as it rushed towards the shadow. Even if it missed, Orgia Mode raised all her combat capabilities, not just her offensive ones; she could take hits better than she could have before. |
