MAY 29TH 6:00 P.M.

Yuchi had stepped out of his hotel room to do some late night shopping in the Central shopping district, trudging through the rain with his hood up. As he stepped into the south district, however, he started to notice a strange fog building up all around him.

"Huh? Where's all this mist coming from?" He didn't remember seeing fog forming so quickly from his childhood memories of Inaba. He was about to continue on his path when suddenly, he noticed a giant blur in the fog. Curious, but cautious, he took a step back as he squinted into the fog, his eyes focused on the giant hulking figure approaching him. At first, he believed his eyes were deceiving him.

Barely visible in the fog, he saw what appeared to be giant, black furred lion, it had 13 tails, demonic wings, a long, flowing mane, and, a most disturbing feature, a human like face. The face was pale, feminine, with dark, empty eyes. It's lips curled to reveal an array teeth. Yuchi recognised this creature. It haunted his memories and dreams. It was the Shadow of his mother.

"Y-you," Yuchi stammered. Before he had realized it, a body numbing shudder came over him, his mind now feeling detached from his body. And yet began to grin, a most unnerving grin. His eyes refocused upon the monster, an expression of crazed thrill plastered upon his face. "Yuchi" was gone now. And in his place stood "Zaiaku".

"Keheheh. . .I've finally found you. . .You damn monster!"
The boy who was now Zaiaku outstretched his hand, and a card appeared, its corner spinning on his palm. He shouted, "Persona!" and proceeded to crush the card in his hand, summoning his Persona, Gemini. The Shadow stepped back into the fog, hiding itself. "Don't you run away from me," Zaiaku shouted, and as if on cue, Gemini lunged after the Shadow, slashing haphazardly into the fog. Sure enough, the Shadow leapt from the dense fog and swatted Gemini into the side of a building. As Gemini was struck and collided with the wall, Zaiaku fell to his knees in pain, and swore under his breath.

Gemini pulled itself out of the wall, and continued to swing its nodachi aimlessly, only to be struck again and again by the Shadow, until neither Gemini or Zaiaku could hardly get onto their feet. The Shadow roared with satisfaction, enjoying the futile struggles of its prey.
Because Zaiaku could not see through the fog, he could not direct Gemini efficiently. He was fighting a losing battle.

Violet~ The Promiscuous Hooker / Mother Harlot~ The Sinful Persona
Sighing as Mother Harlot droned on and on about how battle contributed to his weariness and lethargy as well as it would be even more so since it was his first time fighting like that, his head throbbed painfully, he forced himself into a sitting up position and sighed quietly. He had never felt this goddamn tired.

Never.

Not even when he went ahead and took on one man after another in a bow chicka bow wow manner to earn money once. And he was pretty darn tired then, so there. It seemed like he was hallucinating now, because the girl seemed to have grown gigantic boobs.

No, wait, that was a different hag.

Had his mind somehow changed the boy into a woman? A fully grown woman with humongous Hassohappas? Actually, no, the boy was right there, cute as ever. He knew he had to keep a good image; look and act cute but truly he was too irritated and tired to give the slightest bull about image right now. "Fuck," he swore as low in a voice as he could as everything seemed to have became blurry triangles. He was so tired he could just lie there and sleep for ages, he felt. How come he was the only one afflicted with this newbie annoyance?

Because you're the weakest there, Mother Harlot laughed.

And fuck you too.

As big bazookas spoke, Violet felt even more annoyed when he found out her voice was muffled to his ears. Boxing his ears a few times lightly so he could catch up on where and why this delightful woman carrying a pair of cannonballs was here, he lay right there as the three talked, eyes narrowed. From what he could assume like this, there were three possibilities.

One, mega motherload was the bitch who sent the damned lion after them.

Two, super sesquipedalian knew what the lion was and why it was after them but was going to force them to cough up something in return of telling them.

Three, giga gunpowder just stood around and watched while they fought without giving the slightest shit what went on with them, and was going to either kill them or let them live with a price.

Wow, skanky big-breasted floozy.

Forcing himself up as he stumbled forward like a drunk man, he fixed his eyes on a pole and staggered to it, using it to keep his balance as he faced them and clutched to the pole like some kind of pole dancer. Preposition. Either way, if it meant a reward was in for him he was damn well in. If it was something not to his liking, screw her, he was going to bed and not getting up for the rest of the month.

Gathering energy, he finally managed to slur out his question.

"What preposition?"

"Yes, I am that woman Yuchi-kun." She commented, noticing how the other boy was now laying down and probably scrutinizing her. She realized the others didn't trust her. The boy probably was wondering why she didn't help them when they were fighting the shadow. The shadow was odd however, unlike that of a normal one.

"I agree young child. Let us get off the road." She said as she went over to the boy on the floor and picked him up. "I am guessing you can't really walk right now, can you?" She asked amusedly, remembering of her days when she first fought the shadows in Tartarus. She began to walk of the street with the other two in tow until she reached a building nearby. Dropping the kid, she looked at them all.

"As you now know, that is what is called a shadow. Repressed sides of people that become uncontrollable and aggressive." She began to explain to them. "Normally, they don't come to this world and stay in their shadow world. However, more and more shadows are appearing in this world. Something is up and I need your help." She told them bluntly, not holding back anything. She couldn't help but draw parallels to the situation in Tartarus and the entire fiasco there. She was hoping that would not happen here.

"I watched you fight in order to see your abilities in battle. There was something I noticed. You rely too heavily on your personas. Some shadows are immune and even absorb your persona's attacks, like with that shadow and the boy's lightning attacks." She explained, gesturing to the boy that wasn't Yuchi. "Some are even able to seal your persona. You need to be able to fight should those situations arise. So I feel that if we work together, I could help you, train you to fight the shadows. No matter how much you don't want to fight, sometimes you have to. That's life." She concluded, looking at each of the three kids before them.

"Let's solve this mystery together. As one. The more allies we have, the better. So, are you in or out?"

As they left the open road, Midori carrying the other boy, while he and the younger girl followed, Yuchi couldn't help but wonder how long Midori had been around the area. More specifically he was worried that she may have seen the other side of himself surface in the start of the fight, dreading the thought that he might have to explain it. He decided however, that he would't mention it unless she did first.

Reaching the side of shopping district, Midori set the boy down, and explained to them that the lion creature they fought was called a Shadow. Oh, Yuchi thought, sulking just a little. So what I said in the store, about the parts of people that are ignored, she already knew? Some help I am.

"Well," he started after Midori finished speaking to them. "You know that I'm okay with helping and all, but, you said the 'shadow world', are you talking about the world inside the TV? And how are we supposed to fight somthing like that Shadow without our Personas?"

He never thought about it until now (which he was starting to realize that there was quite a bit he didn't think about up till coming back to Inaba) but Yuchi didn't really know HOW to fight other than using his Persona, which he didn't do very often in the first place.

Shana followed the woman to a nearby building. Her father would not be pleased witht he time she had spent out but if she told him that sh ehad made friends then he would probably forgive her. Still it was not wise for her to push her luck to far so she hoped that this would not take too long. When they arrived at a building Shana would sit down leaning against the wall. It was not that she was tired, rather she just wanted to sit down.

She listened as the older girl began to explain to them that they had relied too much on thier Persona and that they needed fighting experience. This caused the the young red head to narrow her eyes "Fighting is not a problem..however the last time I tried that..my fencing foil just broke on it and didn't do any damage" Shana sighed as she remembered have to explain just how she had managed to break the weapon. "Also I'm pretty sure I lack the strength to do any real damage with a punch, so unless you have better weapons I fail to see how fighting a shadow directly could.." She paused as she stomach rumbled rather audibly. It was past dinner time for her.

For some stupid reason, the woman came over and picked him up although he was already up and heading towards the pole. Inwardly scowling and suddenly feeling a burst of vicious fury when he was pretty much squeezed against her dinosaur dippers. He just managed to smile albeit a very shaky one, almost on the verge of stabbing her with the brooch in his pocket. He briefly wondered if her boobs would deflate like a balloon if he did so, but his thoughts were lost in a low grunt of pain as he found himself dropped ungraciously on the ground, away from the pole he was originally standing against - or was he going to stand against it?

He couldn't remember, but it wouldn't be logical for big-breasts to carry him when he was already standing against the pole.

Now however, his insides were churning with pure, unbridled fury. Touch me again. TOUCH ME AGAIN. I dare you, I double dare you, motherfucker. Touch me one more goddamn time. I swear I will rip those tools off you, so help me I will fucking shove that branch up your-

"Pardon me," Sumire interjected sweetly after a moment. "But what, may I ask, are you talking about," he smiled cutely although he was absolutely raring to kick Double Magic Eight Balls in the face.

It sounded like he was going to get free tutoring in kicking asses. Awesome. As soon as he could the first ass he would kick would be the dumb woman. He was going to go after her with a knife, and he was going to do nasty things to her. He had never been so darn ignored and mad before, and he was going to remember her face for the rest of his life. Mainly because of her unbelievably gag boobs.

It seemed like everyone there except for him had had experience with those annoying creatures, and he felt pissed again. Why the hell was he getting dragged into all of this bullshit anyway? All he wanted was to cheat idiots of their money and spend it on himself, was that so bad? He had to get himself involved in all of this idiocy just because of the forsaken advertisement in the TV. Now he was stuck with this annoying hag, too.

Of course, all of these thoughts were kept in his head and not spoken aloud because now that he was involved, he was getting that reward by hook or crook.

She could feel the hate drifting off the boy, even though he was trying to act cute. Did he really think that she was stupid enough to fall for that? He must not appreciated being carried, but he seemed to be exhausted. Midori didn't know what to do. Should she help the boy or should she just leave him be? It could come back to bite her later, but she didn't need an enemy with him, but she already felt that she pissed him off too much.

"Well. I know someone who can supply weapons that don't break when fighting shadows. Also, the fact that you have a persona allows you to fight against them, even when you don't directly use them" She said to the little girl and Yuchi, answering their question. She was friends with the man working in Daidara Metalworks and she heard that the same kids who went shopping in Shiroku Store went there for their weapons.

"However, the weapons I provide you cannot be used in the P1 Grandprix. If you haven't received invitations for it, you probably will soon. However, I have a feeling that if we beat a certain shadow, we might be supplied with weapons that are available in the arena. The reason I feel that we should be training now is that not only can we develop our skills and master our weapons against the shadows, but also it gives us an advantage when fighting against the shadow that supplies weapons. Or so I think." Midori explained, looking at everyone as she talked and subtly exerting her dominance.

"I guess now is a good time to introduce ourselves as well as establish a time to train." She concluded. That was a lot to process for them and she hoped that they wouldn't get overwhelmed by the information. Though she was confident about Yuchi and the girl, she was very much wary of the boy. There was something off about him.

Yuchi's head was so full of questions now. He was a curious when he (accidently) asked Midori about the stuff about the Midnight channel the last time he saw her at the store but now that Midori mentioned weapons, invites, and training, Yuchi felt even MORE lost than before. What kind of weapons were we talking about that could stand to a Shadow? There were invites to whatever that P1 Grand Prix thing Yuchi asked about at the store?? What was it in the first place??? And what kind of training was Midori talking about?!?!

Yuchi was even starting to feel a headache coming on, and for one who suffered a split personality, this was never a good sign. It wasn't hardly any use trying to ask any more questions for his own understanding at this point, though. The battle made him far too exhausted to process much more of this information and register it to memory. He would just have to ask again during this whole training thing or something.

He turned to face the rest of the group, the younger girl and the other boy specifically as Midori concluded, bringing down his hood so that they could see his face more clearly.

"So uhm. . . Thanks for saving me, both of you." He said. "My name is Yuchi. Yuchi Shinsei. But it's okay if you wanna just call me Yuu. "

Shana listened as the girl named Midori began to talka bout how she had access to weapons that could be used against the shadows and while that attracted her attention much of her current attention was placed upon the boy that had been carried over. She was unsure of what exactly it was about the boy that bothered her so, and perhaps it was jus tin her head. After all it was rude of her to judge him based on this one encounter. So as she spent the conversation glancing from him then back to Midori. She also noticed that the other boy seemed exhausted from using his Persona. In truth she too was tired but it was nothing that she could not handle.

It was then she heard about the P1 Grandprix, some sort of tournament involving Persona and the TV world that she had gone into once. This caused her to stand abruptly. "Excuse me...but is this Grandprix thing mandatory to enter? Becaus eif so I'd rather not have to use my powers more than I have to." Still she didn't want to just walk away, after all... She shook her head as the white haired boy introduced himself as Yuchi Shinsei. "Oh.perhaps I should state my name I am Shana Izami" They might know the her last name after all her father was rather rich and his name was known.

Violet~ The Promiscuous Hooker / Mother Harlot~ The Sinful Persona
Y'all crazy motherfu-

"How informative," Violet said as nicely as he could although truly was at the end of his rope. Not a single word of Miss Size Omega made any sense, he still had no clue what the hell was going on. At least he was putting on the perfect outlook of absolute, angelic innocence..or so he hoped. All his years of practice at this was going to go straight to hell because he was getting more and more pissed, but until he completely lost it was going to try his very best to look good and sweet.

He shivered. It wasn't because of the cold - screw the cold, there was no cold - it was because he was teetering at the very edge of his patience, and was exercising all his willpower not to jump up, kick them all in inappropriate places and run off. The longer Watermelon droned on about weapons, the more he felt like dozing off. Nothing about the TV and its promised reward.

He was going for this training thing, but by golly if the reward was anything short of ten million yen..

Nodding with a gentle smile at the boy's words, his smile froze for a brief flash - less than half a second before he smiled at the girl and bowed his head. "Pleased to make your acquaintance," he said sweetly.

Fuck I hit the goldmine.

The girl - not the big chested one, the flat chested one - was a bitchin' millionare. From what Violet heard her family pretty much ate gold blocks and shat gold bricks! This mademoiselle would be more than enough to last him for the rest of his life plus afterlife. Goddamn. Who would've guessed such a shiny coin would turn up among all these idiots in this stupid town?

Oh this place rocked.

He placed his hands on his lap for a long while, ideas and plans quickly working out in his head. This was a great idea. He would join with these numbskulls, take the forsaken treasure and maybe try and kidnap the crazy stuffed girl for a ransom or something. He would work out the finer details when he had the time, and when he was in his nice soft bed because he was still really freaking tired.

"Violet," he introduced himself with another polite bow of his head and then fell silent. He was now feeling a mixture of wrath, greed and excitement. He was still annoyed at how empty his head was right now though, and was more than ready to throttle the cute whitehaired boy for answers later if needed.

As the others introduced themselves, Midori noticed the smile on the boy who turned out to be Violet's face stop for an instant when Shana introduced herself. Midori was getting more and more superstitious of him an was very much unsure about what to think of this kid, who she was starting to get really annoyed at with each passing second. However, she needed allies, but she couldn't shake the feeling that Violet would backstab them the first chance he would get. But she needed to trust the boy. For now.

"I think it is only mandatory for those who get invites. Personally, I don't want to use my persona a lot either. I have had my fair share of battles against them and I really hoped to have escaped them by now. But with the shadow occurrences here and the midnight channel resurfacing, I feel that the shadows might be connected to the murders that occurred here and maybe something even greater." She told Shana honestly, not really feeling the need to disclose too much information. Midori had an inkling, from what Yuchi told him earlier, that the shadows were responsible for Mayumi and Saki's deaths, even though the perpetrator was already caught by the police. Maybe he pushed them in?

"It's getting late and I think we should be heading home soon. I'll be sure to contact you when we can train. And I'll also provide weapons if I can, so please tell me what type of weapon you would like to use." Midori stated, wondering just what type of weapons Yuchi and Violet would use. She knew that Shana would probably want a fencing sword and she was all settled with her weapons.

"Oh and Yuchi, can you stay behind for a moment. I want to ask you something." Midori called out to Yuchi as she waited for the others to go. There was something she needed to find out about from Yuchi. At the beginning of the battle, she swore that Yuchi didn't act like the person she met back in the Shiroku store. But now he's acting like he usually does. Also, why did he tell her about the shadows attacking the 2 victims. How did he know that information?
