MAY 29TH 6:00 P.M. Yuchi had stepped out of his hotel room to do some late night shopping in the Central shopping district, trudging through the rain with his hood up. As he stepped into the south district, however, he started to notice a strange fog building up all around him. "Huh? Where's all this mist coming from?" He didn't remember seeing fog forming so quickly from his childhood memories of Inaba. He was about to continue on his path when suddenly, he noticed a giant blur in the fog. Curious, but cautious, he took a step back as he squinted into the fog, his eyes focused on the giant hulking figure approaching him. At first, he believed his eyes were deceiving him. Barely visible in the fog, he saw what appeared to be giant, black furred lion, it had 13 tails, demonic wings, a long, flowing mane, and, a most disturbing feature, a human like face. The face was pale, feminine, with dark, empty eyes. It's lips curled to reveal an array teeth. Yuchi recognised this creature. It haunted his memories and dreams. It was the Shadow of his mother. "Y-you," Yuchi stammered. Before he had realized it, a body numbing shudder came over him, his mind now feeling detached from his body. And yet began to grin, a most unnerving grin. His eyes refocused upon the monster, an expression of crazed thrill plastered upon his face. "Yuchi" was gone now. And in his place stood "Zaiaku". "Keheheh. . .I've finally found you. . .You damn monster!" The boy who was now Zaiaku outstretched his hand, and a card appeared, its corner spinning on his palm. He shouted, "Persona!" and proceeded to crush the card in his hand, summoning his Persona, Gemini. The Shadow stepped back into the fog, hiding itself. "Don't you run away from me," Zaiaku shouted, and as if on cue, Gemini lunged after the Shadow, slashing haphazardly into the fog. Sure enough, the Shadow leapt from the dense fog and swatted Gemini into the side of a building. As Gemini was struck and collided with the wall, Zaiaku fell to his knees in pain, and swore under his breath. Gemini pulled itself out of the wall, and continued to swing its nodachi aimlessly, only to be struck again and again by the Shadow, until neither Gemini or Zaiaku could hardly get onto their feet. The Shadow roared with satisfaction, enjoying the futile struggles of its prey. Because Zaiaku could not see through the fog, he could not direct Gemini efficiently. He was fighting a losing battle. |

So, Midori, Shana, and Violet, Yuchi thought to himself, commiting these names to memory. Somehow, the name "Izami" sounded familier to him, but he couldn't quite place it. He was also getting the slight feeling that Midori and Shana were feeling uneasy around the one named Violet. He didn't quite understand why though. In fact, Violet seemed like a nice enough person. He even spoke in a rather polite tone. Even though he did seem a little strange, it wasn't really like Yuchi could say much himself about what was normal and such. When Midori mentioned providing weapons once more, Yuchi began to contemplate what weapon he might be intrested in. Then it occured to him that ever since watching the way his Persona fought, Gemini's blade always intrigued him.Sometimes he would even take the golf club he owned and would swing it around the same way Gemini swung its blade. A nodachi, he figured might be a little too long of a blade, but maybe a katana? He almost lost himself in this train of thought when he heard Midori ask for him to wait a little longer so she could ask him something. "Huh? Oh, sure, I guess." After saying his goodbyes to Shana and Violet as they left, he turned back to Midori. "So, what did you want to know Midori-san?" Edited by Yuchi, Mar 2 2012, 05:43 PM.

Shana nodded as she tried to remember the names that she had been given. She figured that even if she forgot she was going to see these three people often enough that she would get reminders on who was who. Midori and Yuchi seemed like they were going to be nice enough but Violet scared her, and his reaction to hearing her name just seemed to make things worse. She would have to watch her back when he was around, though perhaps f she gave him some of her allowance... She would shake her head a few times. It was something to worry about when the time came. As Midori asked her what weapon she wanted she answered. "Fencing sword...a durable one if you can" She was pretty sure that Midori had gotten the idea before but decided that it would be rude not to answer. "Well if that is all I must be getting home, if you will excuse me" She bowed before turning on her heel. She then began to hike to the train station though she was sorely tempted to call for a car to come and pick her up, walking be damned at this point. exit Edited by Shana, Apr 1 2012, 12:46 AM.

Violet~ The Promiscuous Hooker / Mother Harlot~ The Sinful Persona
|
Violet smiled sweetly at Yuchi. It seemed like he hadn't lost his touch after all, even after that little..scuffle. Naturally, the others had to be head over heels for him..or something to that extent. He sat demurely, being the perfect epitome of goodness while he was wondering what the hell he was supposed to stab or shoot with. Swords were too goddamn heavy, and guns were just - truthfully - freaking scary. He had heard of people shooting themselves by accident, and his body was just too precious to scar. He really wanted to wield something stabbity though. Whatever doesn't kill you..is going to succeed on his second attempt. He was careful to kept his expression a perfect gentle smile throughout grim thoughts though. Long had he since given up on obtaining any information from the dumb girls (They might as well be blonde with how they acted, seriously, idiots) and decided he would go and corner Yuchi later. The hell were those creatures? Woop, big boobs too busy talking about crap. Bah. A weapon, a weapon, a weapon.. Hey, you, bitch. What do you think? That the woman is a fool, Mother Harlot snorted in an affronted voice, obviously offended by how easily the big-chested meatsack dismissed her mighty powers. I am more than enough - Yeah, whatever. You can dig into my mind, so do it. A whip. A what..! Oh. Well. Ha ha ha, very funny, I don't think. "Could you possibly obtain a whip?" he asked sweetly, a little interested in what could come from this now. "Thank you!" Jumping up perkily, he winked at Yuchi and waved at Midori as he flounced off as Shana got up and started walking as well. He felt much better now, but he was still a little pissed. Excited at the prospect of possibly getting something to use on others and maybe himself, but mostly pissed. Especially at Miss-I-Know-It-All. Bah. At least she was good for something. Slowing down his energetic bounces as he realized he was going the wrong way, he faked an adorable groan and turned around. Shana was going the opposite direction he was, heaven thank that. Smiling cheerfully and waving at her, he walked on his way back home, keeping up his act of happiness and carefree all the way through. Only after he closed the door behind him and locked it with a loud click did his face cloud over slightly with gloom and annoyance. Yuchi. Right. <Sumire Suzaku, exit thread~♥> |

She took what the wanted into consideration. Though Yuchi didn't say anything in regards to weapons, Shana, as she predicted, wanted a fencing sword while the boy wanted a whip. She decided to shrug off all of her previous conceptions about the boy as she felt like she wanted to trust him and she didn't want anything getting in the way of establishing group trust. The fact that Shana was from a wealthy family did not faze her one bit. So she was rich, Midori didn't really care too much. When the other two had left, she finally turned her attention to Yuchi. The fact that Yuchi seemed different during the beginning of the shadow fight didn't escape her, nor the duality of his Persona, Gemini, which reflected the person themselves. By piecing together the clues left behind for her, she hazarded a guess that he had multiple personalities. Yet, she wanted to confirm this and one other thing with him. "Yuchi-kun. I have to ask you two things. Firstly, that information you told me before back in the store. How did you come across such information? Even I didn't know about the things you said and that surprises me. Also, I noticed you at the beginning of the battle. You acted differently than you usually did. Also, the fact that your persona, Gemini, seems to be sort of a duality of things seems to hint that there is more to you than meets the eye. Care to tell me why it is like that?" She asked Yuchi gently, trying to make sure that she didn't scare him or make herself seem like a threat to him, which it wasn't. She needed to know however for the future. |

So, Yuchi thought, frowning a little. She really did see Zaiaku start that fight. He wanted to think of a way to avoid the second question, but there was simply no way of doing that without explaining his reasoning about her first question, regarding the deaths about the two people. " . . .Well, actually Midori, I kinda just guessed what I told you in the store. I didn't actually hear anything about them until you mentioned them. But. . .do you remember how you said that people seen on the Midnight Channel during rain like this are rumored to be your soul mate? Well. . .it's not true at all. Although I wasn't really familiar with the rumor itself until just recently, I found this out the hard way, ten years ago, when I used to live here in Inaba." He paused for a moment. "Uhm, well. . .Would it be enough to just say I've just had a hunch? I don't wanna bore you with a long story, eheh. . .heh. . ." In a hurry to jump to the next question, he continued. "It's true that my persona, Gemini, has duality to it. When I was a little kid, I uh, developed a second personality that named itself 'Zaiaku'. He's the side of me you saw at the start of that fight, when Gemini wore his black coat and mask. Depending on which one of us is active, Gemini assumes a form reflecting that personality." Midori listened to the boy's words, interested in what he had to say. At the mention of the whole soul mate story, she had a hunch that it wasn't correct. She only told him that part as she wanted to stay true to the rumors. She had already taken out of the equation that detail in her mind. "I guess we can talk about that some other time." Midori said understandingly, taking his signals that he didn't really want to talk about it. Whatever it was, Midori felt that there was a reason that he didn't want to talk about it. Maybe there was something more to it. She nodded at his mention of his alternate personality, 'Zaiaku'. Her assumption was correct. It was indeed the case of multiple personalities, which intrigued her. This gave her more reason to be protective over the young boy, to keep track of his multiple personalities. He grew more interesting with each encounter she had with him. At this fate, she was wondering if this had something to do with fate, though that did sound very much like a cliche. "I now understand. Thank you for telling me Yuchi-kun. It must be hard to have multiple personalities and I would love to learn about it. But for now, let's go home. Do you want me to escort you home?" She asked the boy, looking at him in the eyes. She was going to keep this one close. |

Yuchi was grateful that Midori didn't press into the matter about about how he guessed over the deaths, and was rather surprised how quickly she accepted the fact that he had a multiple personality disorder. As she stated how difficult it must have been for him to hold multiple personalities, Yuchi found himself thinking, sure, it was always a little tough but he managed it well most of the time. . .some of the time. However, Yuchi was taken by surprise once more as Midori offered to escort him home. Even though they had met before, he still wasn't used to people willing to be around him. In the past, those who had encountered the Zaiaku side of him would often avoid him like someone possesed. And yet Midrori seemed different from all of them. He wasn't sure why, but Yuchi found himself begining to appreciate her presence. And besides that, he was still a little jumpy at the thought of more of that weird fog forming again. He felt that he could trust Midori to help him should that happen again. He wondered, was this what it felt like to make friends? In the past ten years, he seemed to had forgotten. "uhm. ..s-Sure, I mean, if you don't mind, Midori-san." Edited by Yuchi, Mar 21 2012, 10:51 PM.

Midori nodded and gestured for Yuchi to lead the way, thinking that the kid probably wanted to go back home right now. Anyone would after an encounter with shadows. Midori wondered about doing more research on them. She thought back to the Kirijou Group and their involvement with the shadows. Maybe it was time to re-establish connections. She kept at the same pace as Yuchi, taking out her evoker and examining it. This was probably one of, if not the most, important thing to her right now. Her memories of the Kirijou Group were attached to this evoker and it's capabilities alone made it even more valuable. She never kept it away from her and never let it out of her sight. If anything happened to it, she wouldn't know what to do. "I am guessing you do not want to tell the others about your other self, am I right?" Midori suddenly said, breaking the silence that lingered in the air. "I am capable of keeping my secrets. Don't you worry about that." Midori then reassured him, putting a hand on his shoulder as an act to indicate that she meant no harm. Midori had grown quite attached to the boy now. It was odd how these things worked. |

As Yuchi led the way to his hotel room in the Residential District, he glanced beside him to see Midori pull out an object that, to Yuchi, resembled a very peculier gun, examining it as they walked. At this sight, Yuchi's eyes widened significantly in surprise, a bead of cold sweat forming down his spine as he silently stared at it. A gun?! he thought, as he was unable to hide his uneasiness. How long has she been carrying that around!? He was considering inquiring about the gun, but he his nervousness at the sight of it kept him silent for a while as Midori continued to examine it, and Yuchi was starting to feel that the object held a sort of signifigance to Midori. With his sidelong gaze so focused on the gun, he jumped slightly as Midori spoke to him, stating the assumption that Yuchi wanted to keep his Zaiaku side a secret, and quite frankly, she couldn't have hit it closer to home if she tried. Yuchi didn't want people to evade him again because of his other self. He didn't want to be shut out by everyone like he was in his home in Iwatodai. And so he was relieved to hear that Midori would keep it a secret. "Thank you, Midori-san, I really appreciate it," he replied, smiling to show he was sincere of his gratitude. Somehow, having someone else other than his foster parents sharing knowlege of this secret felt like a certain amount of weight lifted off his shoulders. But something else was still occupying his concern, as he found himself unable to fully take his gaze away from the gun in Midori's hands. "So, uhm," he started, nervousness present in his voice. "That thing's on safety, right? Or is it filled with rubber bullets or something? . . .Or perhaps. . .real bullets?" |

Midori smiled at the boy's reply, his smile bringing life to her ever stagnant face and causing a caring smile to form across it. Midori had the tendency not to show her emotions to just anyone. In fact, getting her to react with any visible emotion at all would be a great achievement in anyone's books. However, she noticed the boy's uneasiness about "You mean my evoker? Oh. I forgot to mention about this." Midori said, as if she just remembered that the others had never seen an evoker before, let alone how this is used. Looking around, it had seemed as if there was no fog around here. The evoker wouldn't work in these conditions. "Yuchi-kun. This is not a real gun. Or maybe, I should say not a conventional gun. You know how you summon your persona with those cards? Well, this is how I summon my persona. I would show you how it is used, but there is no fog. So I cannot." Midori explained to him, her eyes keeping in contact with him to make sure she had his attention. "I would suspect that you'll be seeing more persona users over the coming days and from what I have seen, they will either summon their persona via the cards, like you, or via evokers, like me." She kindly explained to him, giving him information that might come in handy in the future. "Now. Shall we continue on our way back to where you live, or do you want to know anything else? I will show you my persona when the time is right." Edited by Midori Aihara, Mar 31 2012, 08:36 AM.
