May 22nd 12:00 p.m. The streets in the Central Shopping District were mildly busy, with small crowds of people walking in and out through the shops at a time as the day seemed to carry on without incident. No one seemed to specifically notice the girl clad in a white hoodie and black baggy shorts, a gray furred dog sitting next to her as she stood at the sidelines, her pulled up hood hiding a portion of her face. This is. . .Inaba? she wondered, glancing down at the dog beside her, which returned her gaze with a panting smile. "What do we do now, Kiba?" she asked her canine friend. In response, he uttered a sound between a growl and a whine. "Mrrraoww." After such a response, the dog stood up and stretched, then looked in a certain direction, its ears perked up. The girl followed it gaze toward the Souzai Daigaku, assuming Kiba was trying to tell her something. As she did, she saw that sitting there on the table outside was a plate of Grilled Steak Croquette freshly made. The person who had ordered it had stepped to the side to take a call from their cell phone, leaving the plate unguarded. As Kiba looked up at the girl expectantly, she nodded, as if upon agreement. Then the two of them subtly made their way over to the Souzai Daigaku stand. Once the were next to the table, the girl glanced over at the person who was on their phone and saw that they were properly distracted. Then a second later, the girl had swiped the plate off the table and she and the dog sprinted up the street. "Hm, what the-HEY!!!" was the unfortunate diners reaction. Neither the girl nor Kiba had looked back to see if they were being chased however. They ran until they reached the Tatsuhime Shrine nearby, stopping at the base of a tree, then the girl plopped down on the ground, the plate now resting on her lap. She handed a piece of the croquette to Kiba, who took it into his mouth and proceeded to chew it down. Picking up another piece, the girl took a bite as well, vaguely wondering if the shrine was a suitable hiding place. After all, she only ran so far from where she stole the food. |

M A Y ▪ 2 2 N D /// 1 2 : 0 0 ▪ P M "Look, I'm not moving back." started Aiella, shortly after picking up her cellphone. She sighed and zoned out her mothers voice, idly picking away at the lunch she picked up - Grilled Steak Croquettes - and wishing she had never picked up the phone. There was a small moment of silence, and Aiella took the oppurtunity to remind both of her parents she had no intention of moving back to the city. "Honey, it's not that we want you to move back..." Her mother cooed down the phone, "It's just, we are worried about you and how well you will cope being on your own." Aiella's anger rose, "Being on my ow- ... Being on my own?! That's what this is about?" Aiella stood up from the table and turned her back, leaving her meal behind her. "I'm perfectly fine on my own, Mother. I don't need to come back and I certainly don't want to." She turned back to her food, only to be greeted by a hooded figure and an animal. "Hm. What the..." The hooded one swiped her plate from the table "Hey!" Aiella shouted after them as they ran off. She groaned irritably and hung up on her parents as she watched them run off towards the shrine, wondering what she should do next. "I do have to get to class...." she thought to herself. ""But, first..." Aiella checked that she had all of her belongings, and walked towards the shrine. After all, it was on her way to the Train Station. Sort of. She stood behind one of the pillars at the entrance, and peeked inside to try and catch a glimpse of where her little food-thief was. Sure enough, there was the girl in the white hoodie, and the scruffy dog beside her. Aiella was about to step in and protest, but she stopped herself and watched the couple for a small while. "... Ah, I see." Aiella sighed, and then smiled a little at the small gift she had given the hungry pair of food-thieves. Biting her lip a little, she grabbed a pen and a tiny post-it note from her bag and wrote a small note. She frowned at it for a little while, contemplating whether or not she should go ahead with it, but eventually she caved in and slapped the post it note on the side of the pillar facing away from her, but towards the pair of food-thieves. "To the sneaky Food-Thieves, ... same time tomorrow? -- Unsuspecting Victim." Being suffiently late for her train, and probably her class too - she decided to hurry along to the train station, hoping that the couple would grace her with their presence when she had more time. And more food. Edited by Aiella Osaragi, May 5 2012, 04:25 AM.

The girl and her dog had finished eating and set the plate aside. Then standing up, the girl noticed something on the nearby pillar at the entrance to the shrine. Driven by simple minded curiosity, she walked over to the pillar to get a closer look at it, Kiba followed closely behind her. As she stood in front of the pillar, the girl saw that the object was a post it note that she was pretty sure wasn't there moments before. She peeled it off the pillar and read the writing on it. In truth, she wasn't the best reader, and was more or less self taught the basics, but was able to understand the message of the note. Same time tomarrow? Kiba looked up at her and whined. The girl came to the conclusion that the note implied meeting someone during the current time of day and place tomarrow. But who? (the words "thieves", "unsuspecting", and "victim" weren't exactly strong components to her dictionary) She glanced down at Kiba, who whined again, as if in worry. "We'll be okay. If it comes to trouble, we can just run again. No one ever catches us, right?" After a moment, Kiba yipped, as if agreeing with her Although not sure what would come of it, the girl was curious of who this person was and why they wanted to meet her, perhaps suspicious even, but decided that it would be of no consequence to find out. After all, it was true how no one ever managed to catch her and Kiba. ------------------------------------------------- May 23rd 12:00 p.m. The girl, accompanied once more by Kiba, carefully exited through the entrance of the shrine and walked down the street she had been the day before. Her hood hid her face once more, and both her and the dog looked around them cautiously as they waited for the writer of the note to show themselves. |

M A Y ▪ 2 3 R D /// 1 2 : 0 0 ▪ P M Despite following through on her antics from the preceeding day, Aiella had laundry on the mind. Wednesday was laundry day, but it was also her mid-week shopping day too. She decided to get it over and done with early, since she was hoping to meet up with her Food-Thieves - so after grabbing a few bits of food here and there from the various stores in the Central Shopping District, she decided to finally take her seat from yesturday outside of the stall that she attempted to have lunch at yesturday. She lay her bags at her feet - under the table - and rest her head upon the palm of her hand. Eventually, she saw the motley pair exit the Shrine and cautiously walk down the street. Aiella didn't want to risk startling them or even scaring them away so she sat and watched the pair gradually approach her. |

As they continued down the street, neither the girl, nor Kiba noticed anyone approaching them directly. ". . .do you think the note was for someone else?" was what the girl quietly asked the dog. Kiba gave an indifferent response. "Mrrrrrrnn. . ." The two eventually began to pass by the Souzai Daigaku stand. At once, even from the corner of her eye, the girl noticed the same woman she had stolen the food from yesterday, for although she didn't take the time to get a look at her, she remembered her rather colorful appearance. She seemed to be sitting at the very same spot, her head resting in her palm. And perhaps it was only the girls imagination but, the woman also seemed to be looking right at her, as if in recognition from yesterday. Either way, the girl ducked her head and made sure her hood was still hiding her face as she attempted to walk by without being identified by the woman. But of course, this endeavor of stealth was futile, since the girl was seemingly the only one around that had a dog following her wherever she went. Not only that either, for Kiba in particular easily stood out compared to other dogs seen around the town. Edited by Ren, May 5 2012, 11:54 PM.

Aiella raised an eyebrow in amusement as the pair of Food-Thieves passed her table. She looked them both up and down, and figured that her assumption was not incorrect. She sighed ever so softly, and spent a few seconds talking herself into saying something to the pair, anything. "So, I take it you're not hungry today, then? I was thinking of Ramen, myself." Aiella blurted out, somewhat uneasily. Still, she remained calm and tried not to fumble over her words. She waited a few seconds, and collected her things from under the table. "I guess I'll be dining on my own, then?" she said, standing and turning away from the couple. She started to head for Aiya, and hoped that the couple would take it as an invitation to follow in her stead. Edited by Aiella Osaragi, May 6 2012, 09:59 AM.

As the woman mentioned Ramen to the two, they both had stopped in mid-step. Kiba's ears perked to the side and if her ears were like his, the girl's would have as well. Clearly the woman had indeed recognized them from yesterday, but what was this about Ramen? Was she taunting them? Slowly glancing behind her, she saw the woman collect her belongings from underneath the table, asking aloud if she was to dine by herself as she stood and turned away from them. The girl blinked, rather perplexed, as the woman started to walk away. Turning around fully, the girl and her dog exchanged glances. This woman. . .was she inviting them to come along, or was it some kind of trick? Either way, they both knew if there was some chance of getting a meal out of it, the risk was worth taking. Besides, neither Kiba or herself had ever eaten Ramen before. So after a moments hesitation, she hurriedly followed the women, Kiba trotting along behind her. They both stayed just a few steps behind the women, however. The girl especially kept a wary gaze, not sure what to make of the colorful person. Just yesterday, she was stealing food from this woman, and now she was being offered it? Edited by Ren, May 6 2012, 01:39 PM.

Aiella smiled a little as she heard the couple cautiously follow behind her. She didn't want to pressure the two, she figured that they would probably be rather evasive and careful in her presence. She opened the door of Aiya, making a point of leaving it open behind her for the pair to follow in after her, and started to put her bags in a spare booth at the back of the room. She hung around and fiddled needlessly with her bags for a few moments to make sure that they knew where to come and sit down, and then sat down herself. "Two bowls of beef Ramen, please." She said, turning to the owner. It was somewhat quiet in Aiya, but still there was a buzz of chatter that rose throughout the room. Aiella mused briefly as to why she was doing this, and just settled on the fact that simply, she wanted too. She didn't intend to pry or to ask awkward questions, there was just something that she felt was drawing her towards the couple, something that made her want to help, even in the smallest way. The girl and Kiba continued to follow a few steps behind the woman, pausing a moment at the door which she had left open as she entered. The girl wondered if it would cause a scene if Kiba came inside with her, as he was a dog. Nonetheless, with a quick glance cast down at the canine, it ducked its head slightly, quietly following her as she walked inside. Once inside, it didn't take all that long for them to locate the booth that the women had sat down at, for the diner itself was relatively quiet at this particular time. As the women ordered the bowels of beef ramen, the two approached the booth that the women sat in, and the girl sat in the seat opposite of her while Kiba swiftly hid under the table against the girls feet. After a few moments in sitting there, the girl finally pulled down the hood of her hoodie, revealing her short, ruffled, silver colored hair, a lock of which covered the right of her vibrant green eyes. She didn't say hardly anything to the woman for a few moments, rather, the girls pale face maintained a neutral expression, perhaps guarded, as she stared at the woman. |

What interesting hair. Aiella felt a sudden intrigue for the person sitting in front of her. Althought it was not her business to pry, just merely looking at the girl and her faithful compainion made a myriad of questions float into her mind. Who were they? How long have they been together? Why do they live like this? The girl stared at Aiella with what Ai perceived to be a calm, neutral expression. She wondered briefly if her or her friend were being cautious about their meet- Aiella's phone rang. She sighed, and rummaged through her purse to retrieve it. After seeing who the caller was, she frowned ever so slightly. "Sorry" she started. "I kind of have to get this." she bit her lip and picked up the call. "Hello, mother." Aiella zoned out as her mother carries on her usual speech about her sudden move, her choices in life, all the stuff Aiella wasn't interested in. The ramen was served, placed in front of the pair of them, which seemed to serve to snap Aiella back into reality for a moment. "Oh, uhhh. Mom? I'm kinda sitting down to lunch with a friend. Would you mind...?" "A.. a friend? Who is it?" her mother asked cautiously. Aiella panicked for all but a moment, looking towards the girl with the strikingly silver hair. "Ah, just one of the local girls I met." "Well... that's good, sweetie. Have fun at lunch." "Will do. Seeyah." And with that, Aiella hung up and threw the phone down onto the table. "Arrgh, I can't beleive her sometimes!" she spat out suddenly, forgetting her company. She cleared her throat and regained her composure. "Sorry. Let's eat, shall we? Tell me about yourself."
