Inaba was a nice place. It was much better than his hometown, at least. Kiana smiled brightly at the confused people around him, wondering what this young man with considerably fancy clothes doing in this place. He had wanted to leave Cherry at home so he could clean up a little and arrange the (Smaller) furniture as he saw fit. However, when he heard Kiana was going out without him, Cherry threw a little fit at once and Kiana gave in.

He grasped Cherry's hand tightly as he weaved through the few people here. Let's see, he thought. Their house was back there around the corner. He had to remember how to get back home - because - well, duh. He had no map and he would look stupid carrying one around, so he'd just have to make do with his memory.

Soon, he found himself in a street with many shops. Seemed like some kind of shopping area. There was..well, surprisingly little people. He expected a lot more. Might as well take a look around. He pulled Cherry to each and every shop even though he was bound to forget all of them later anyway, and felt pleased to note that this place seemed very, very normal. Just what they needed. A nice, normal, pleasant place to start a nice, new pleasant life.

Deciding they could do with something to eat, Kiana went over to this diner place called Aiya. How did the owner name this place?

I bet he fell down and used the first word that popped out of his pretty mouth to name this diner.

Or second, maybe. Naming a place after a swear word wouldn't be that productive, would it?

He stood Cherry outside the diner. "You stay right here for a moment!" And with that, skipped in. He flounced right up to the surprised boy taking orders, and cried loudly.

"You there! You give me two of something nice, takeaway, pronto!"

As the boy stared at him dumbly, Kiana snapped his fingers. "Seen an angel, dear?" he giggled. The boy shook his head and scuttled away from the counter.

Yeesh. Skittish people much.

He passed time by inspecting the menu and enjoying how nice and cold it was. Those air conditioners, oh yes. He ought to install some in the living room at home! But that'd be freakin' expensive and he didn't really have cash to spare. It would be heavenly..though he'd also have to keep the doors shut. So many drawbacks.

He went back out to Cherry after receiving his orders, handing one to him. "Eat up," Kiana chirped happily.

Kiyoi Akemi took in his surroundings with quite some wonder. By far, this place was much better than their old home. Kiana was thinking of going out to explore a little without him, but changed his mind and brought him along when he threw a little temper tantrum. He couldn't bear to be left home alone, what if a bad guy came and kidnapped him or something! Cherry set aside some boxes of personal items he was unpacking and quickly followed Kiana out of his house. They moved past quite a lot of people. They looked - well, you couldn't say they looked friendly, but they didn't look hostile or emaciated like the people back at his old home. That was what drugs and alcohol (Kiana called it booze, but he insisted Cherry call it alcohol) did to you, so he would never take them.

Kiana rushed them to a restaurant of sorts and told him to wait outside. Cherry nodded compliantly, watching as Kiana disappeared inside. Five minutes later, Kiana emerged with two polystyrene boxes. Cherry smiled and took his happily. "Thank you, onii-chan!"

They sat on benches, Cherry sitting between Kiana's legs and leaning into his body. He felt safe with Kiana, like this even more so. He finished eating quickly, and a thought occurred to him. Waiting until Kiana finished as well, he threw away the two boxes into the nearby trashcan and went to sit on Kiana's lap.

"Onii-chan?" Cherry said softly, looking up at Kiana, who appeared upside down. "Do we still have money?"

The house was expensive enough, then they had to buy furniture and then stuff like more clothes and personal items. Then they just went and bought food. They still hadn't found any jobs, and if this went on they were sure to run dry out of money.

People were staying out of Violet's way.

The dark look on his face was more than enough to deter people from nearing him, what more his clenched fists and deadly glares. He still felt a bit sore, and his chest was still aching. That had been hell. Yuchi had been hell. That asshole did have split personalities. That or he was severely fucked in the head. Violet narrowed his eyes. From that whole encounter yesterday and this morning he hadn't gained anything he could see. He really should've thought ahead. Couldn't even score a fuck with that tight-assed boy..

"Oh?"

That was when he caught sight of two boys. That would be completely usual and uninteresting if not for the fact that they looked nothing like the boring, dull, drab people here. One was a little boy who didn't look as though he reached puberty while the other was much older. Teenager. Mature-looking. Sixteen, seventeen?

The blonde one was a cutie, but it was the older, silver-haired one that got Violet interested. His clothes simply screamed the fact that he was loaded with cash. That was one thing. The second was he was hot. Violet barely needed three seconds to decide what he was going to do.

He walked over to the pair and put on his best I want you to fuck me silly voice. "Hello there," he purred lowly, eyeing the silver-haired one and making no attempts to hide his lascivious gazing. The blonde was sitting on his lap. How cute. Who the heck was he? He was so...small. Not exactly Violet's taste, but if he had money then sure he'd go for it.

"We have enough," Kiana answered simply. It wouldn't do to burden Cherry with the heavy weigh of worry and responsibility, mantles which he ought take up alone. He hadn't, so far found anywhere to get a job, and a suitable one. Still, they would do most wonderfully for the next two months or so. Then they'd be royally fucked if he still didn't get a job somehow. He'd probably have to return to being a high class gigolo for men and women alike. The former came to him far more often than the latter though.

"You worry about our dusty new house and I'll worry about expenses, alright?" Kiana said softly, planting a gentle kiss on Cherry's forehead. People were giving him the weirdest/most disgusted look, probably because they looked nothing like brothers. Admittedly, it would seem weird, but it was normal for them. They were very affectionate with one another, and although half their blood belonged to their respective mothers they were closer than any brothers. He pulled Cherry closer against him, looking up as an unfamiliar, alluring voice spoke.

Kiana took three seconds, looking long and hard at the grey-haired boy who approached them. His hold on Cherry tightened protectively. It didn't take a genius to tell that the boy before them was a whore. Because, holy hell, he dressed, acted and spoke like a real tart. The horny devil was staring openly at Kiana. And even Cherry.

Alright, that was it.

"Hello," Kiana smiled warmly. "Goodbye!"

He got up, took Cherry's hand and grasped it firmly as he walked straight towards the direction of their house.

Cherry nodded, nuzzling Kiana's chest. Completely oblivious to the looks they were receiving, he started when someone poked into their private time. Cherry pressed himself closer against Kiana, feeling worried. Who was this boy? And why did he seem so..

Cherry felt confused. Why was the boy staring at him like that?

Following Kiana as he got up and led Cherry away, he tugged lightly on Kiana's arm. "Onii-chan? Who's that? He..acts weird," Cherry murmured. The boy looked much like the perverts that met Kiana when - during those dark times. Cherry didn't like it. Every time they took Kiana out he would return bloody and - well, damaged..

But this boy looked so young. Kiana was no longer that kind of person. Cherry wanted Kiana to stay with him. No one could take his brother away from him again. This boy..who was he?

People seemed to be fading into the shadows as they walked, and Cherry felt worried. What looked like fog suddenly appeared, materializing out of nowhere and clouding their vision. Cherry gasped - the fog rapidly thickened until they were forced to stop, unable to see where they were going.

"Onii-chan," Cherry whispered. "What do we do? We might walk into a river and not know it.."

The seductive smile on his face was wiped clean off by the silver-haired young man's dismissal. Violet gaped, staring at the man's back. That insolent bitch. He shifted his pants slightly, licking his lips. Fine. If the man wouldn't fall to his charms, then Violet would simply force him. He wasn't in any need of money, he was in need of that man's body. And that little blonde as dessert.

Oh, yes.

He tailed them from a distance, throwing a disdainful glare at the blonde boy's back. He seemed very close to the silver-haired man. Perhaps they were lovers. Or maybe the blonde was the silver-haired man's bed-boy. Either way, Violet didn't care. That man was sleeping with him whether he liked it or not. Yuchi-boy was such a freaking cockblock.

Fog appeared. Violet, too used to this by now didn't give a hoot. He watched their blurry figures stop, probably confused as to what they ought do now. He walked right up to them, grabbed the silver-haired man and shoved him against a wall, pinning him to the wall. "I won't be denied," Violet murmured lustily before forcefully kissing the silver-haired man.

Around them, shapes formed. Formless, amorphous shapes. They twisted and turned and gurgled, yet neither of the three notice it until it was too late. It took the form of an elegant woman with a crystallized mask. Her beautiful, slender figure was a sharp contrast against the ugly pools of black surrounding her. Pools from which arms emerged and a single head. She crossed her legs and fell back, a large couch materializing to catch her just before she hit the ground.

Far too engrossed in forcing the silver-haired man to notice, Violet slid his flimsy shirt off and growled as a warning to the man not to stop him.

"Pretend you never saw him," Kiana sighed. So there were a few bad apples in Inaba after all. Well yippitee fucking yay! It didn't matter, Cherry was going to stay away from these kind of people. As for him? What could that boy do to him? Bat his eyelids until he lost his eyebrows? Pine until he lost his voice?

Pffftttt!

Fog suddenly descended upon them, and Kiana took Cherry's advice and stopped. They could no longer see their way due to this vision obstructing menace. He felt confused. He had never seen fog like this in his entire life. Heck, there wasn't so much as mist back in his old place. There was an odd sensation pressing at the back of his head but he ignored it, prioritizing Cherry's safety. There shouldn't be anything dangerous about fog, right? Besides that creepy-as-hell movie, that damned thing where monsters in the fog got you.

Ah-ha-ha, there were no such things right right of course not. He'd comfort Cherry of undoubted fears.

"Welp!" That was as far as Kiana got before he found himself rudely pushed against the wall, lips attacked by another. Gasping as he realized it was the boy who accosted them earlier, he thought he saw something far behind but was too busy trying not to get raped. Stunned by how daring this guy was after he took his shirt off and growled at him, Kiana summoned the untold strength hidden behind his wonderful body and sent the guy flying, literally.

"You keep your hanky-panky-handies to yourself!" Kiana shouted, royally pissed. He wiped his mouth with his hand, pulling a face. What was wrong with this guy?

It was then he saw the creatures surrounding them and his jaw fell.

Immediately he ran and pulled Cherry behind himself protectively, giving the grey-haired boy on the floor a harsh kick as he did so, rolling him closer to those creatures.

"Hey, fog-monsters!" Kiana cried. "How 'bout I offer you this slu - sludge, that's right sludge and you leave us two the helck alone!"

It was so very hard not to swear, but he wasn't going to have Cherry picking up naughty words.

"Okay," Cherry nodded obediently, clutching Kiana's arm, frightened by this odd white smoke. "Onii-cha-"

Suddenly, someone snatched Kiana away from him, causing him to fall down. "Ah!" It turned out to be the grey-haired boy from just now. He pushed Kiana to a wall and kissed him forcefully. Cherry got up, panicking. He finally picked up a nearby rock and threw it with all his might at the grey-haired boy, watching as it collided neatly with his crotch just as Kiana sent him flying.

He saw Kiana's eyes widen and then he felt himself being pushed behind him. "Onii-chan..?"

Then he saw just why. "F-fog monsters?! 'nii-chan, what do we do?" Cherry gasped, terrified. One formed the image of an elegant woman, and she beckoned playfully to Cherry. With a soft squeak, he hid behind Kiana's slender form. "Onii-chan, l-let's run.."

Then he realized they couldn't. The creatures surrounded the three males. He hugged Kiana tighter than ever. "Ah! Ah! Onii-chan! I'm scared, what do we do..?"

Maybe using the grey-haired boy as a sacrifice would work. The creatures seemed to be closing in on them, the circle growing smaller and smaller. The woman seemed to almost levitate - they were monsters, terrible, scary monsters and Cherry wanted nothing more than to run away. However, something inside his heart awoke.
