I just love Peter Mooney and the fact that he tries to be very diplomatic in his answers. To me, it's obvious how much he likes Nick/Andy and he thinks they're good for each other but he's mindful that not everyone ships McCollins. I'm pretty sure that stems from the twitter craziness over McCollins this summer. Ugh.

Yeah he definitely is better disciplined than some actors. I can't believe that some people were saying that he doesn't want the ship to happen or doesn't believe in it. I mean he's just trying to do his job and make sure that everybody tunes into the show (whether you're a McCollins shipper, a McSwarek shipper, or don't ship either). He's looking at it from a storytelling perspective and trying to support the writers at least in public (he may be pulling for McCollins behind the scenes for all we know), but either way he's not going to incite a fan war by something he says and make it even more difficult for them to their jobs or for any of the actors to their jobs because of hate/love mail, tweets, calls, etc. That's professionalism and I respect him a lot for it. Too many actors don't have it these days.
