http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=16120 Name: Meisu Colara, Acolyte of the Order of Neube, The Great Cosmic Frog (Praise be unto him!) A man of few ideals other than his own, yet given wholly to his faith, Meisu resides in the floating tower outside the city of Torn. The priests of his order worship the diety known as the Great Cosmic Frog, Neube, who created the entire world and all planes of existence with his first mighty croak (referred to as the Primordial Throat Song). They pledge his existence and great divinity with the utmost of conviction and belief. Meisu was given to the order as an offering and was trained in their ways from birth. He was however a tad reckless and a bit of a disgrace when he failed to fully contain all of the teachings of the Great Neube and found himself guilty of breaking the three great relics of the faith after a botched attempt of the 3rd Holy Croak Stance. Meisu was shamed throughout the order. In 'punishment,' and to atone for his sins, he was sent to find the fourth and greatest of the relics of Neube, believed to be found in the Planar Labyrinth. Meisu accepted without delay. He would find the Divine Water Skin and redeem his name. For the Great Neube! Goal: To retrieve the Divine Water Skin from the holdings of the Planar Labyrinth. Goal: To gain redemption and attain High Priest of Neube through his diligence and faith after retrieving the Divine Water Skin from the holdings of the Planar Labyrinth. Goal: To spread the faith of the Great Neube to all beings who need or seek solace in their mortal lives before, during, and after retrieving the Divine Water Skin from the holdings of the Planar Labyrinth. |

That really was a solid GoG reference btw. I had to walk to my bed just so I could fall on it laughing.

Cool beans, man. Are we still waiting on Max? And what is the plan once everyone is ready? Were we going to play over skype, or just over the message board? Should we meet in person for the first session? |

It's going to be somewhat of an experiment: I'm hoping to play it entirely over the message board at a brisk pace of one post every day (or two) to keep things moving consistently. It may still be slower than meeting once a week, but I like the format in that it allows me to handle multiple people more easily and meeting over the board is easier to arrange than meeting in person. If it goes too slowly (I'm particularly concerned about combat) we'll arrange dates for us to meet over skype to play on the message board for a dedicated evening. |

Cool beans, man. Just gonna put it out there, I'm game for meatspace sessions as well if any of those are going to happen at any point. I'm really digging the 5e rules from what I've seen and I'm honestly pretty excited to get started. On that note, when will we do that thing? |

As am I. I've given Max a call to give one final check whether he's in or out. If he's out, then we have all the sheets (Not a bad spread of classes either) and we'll get started ASAP. Expect the opening post sometime before Wed in another thread, then just reply to it IC. If you have something to add OOC, please put it in the OOC thread |

Could he possibly just join us on the road, after he's made the character? |

Despite my best efforts to wait until the last minute, I guess I've finished Herschel's backstory before Ryan starts the game. M. Herschel Pierce, Wizard A born scholar, M. Herschel Pierce spent most of his comfortable with his nose in a book, exploring the country around his family’s manor, or gazing at the stars. With neither his eldest brother’s charismatic nature nor his sister’s warrior spirit, Herschel spends most of his time trying to unravel the secrets of the world around him. After discovering his magical talent, Herschel followed in his father’s footsteps and enrolled in the Rogrest University of Magic once he is old enough. If Herschel could be the first to map the Planar Labyrinth, it would be a great boost to his academic career. Herschel’s great love is astronomy and he has spent many nights studying the heavens with his tutor Lucretius. He hopes to test Lucretius’ theory that the other worlds in the Planar Labyrinth are really part of our own Material Plane by studying their skies. Herschel was in Torn visiting his sister Tabitha when Mrzfdpnk attacked. She and her brethren in the Winged Company fought bravely against the horrors that Mrzfdpnk brought forth, but were unable to last for long. Herschel caught up with his sister just in time to see her dragged back through the rift by a mysterious figure with dandelion hair and emerald-colored suit. Even three years later, Herschel hopes more than anything to be able to find a way to bring her back home…alive. Goals:
