Tyler: I'm going to make a pretty standard Dwarf Cleric, just to find my sea legs. It's going to be a little combat focused too, but more of a back up kind of thing. Don't worry I'll do my proper heal focus with my divine power. My gods will be gods of battle, and war. I find my power in the fight. I go into the Labyrinth with a with a friend to find his kidnapped sister; my battle partner. Edited by Tyler J Pineactupus, Aug 16 2014, 06:52 AM.

Is the battle partner the friend or the friend's kidnapped sister?

How does spell slot planning work? I am a little confused and have never rolled a 4e wizard. |

For bards you can cast as many spells a day as you have spell slots. As a bard you have four level one spell slots. Cantrips don't cost spell slots and can be used many times per day. At level one you can pick four first level spells. You also have two slots. Meaning that you can only cast two non-cantrip spells a day. Once your slots are used up you need to take an extended rest. It may seem like we're pretty powerless at level one. That's because it's level one and that's how it should be. You can learn the next higher level spells every odd (i.e. 3, 5, 7...) level up. Also well as the amount of spells you can expend. Bards can use any level slot to cast asny level spell. It's kind of nice. Also your spell casting (and probably other bard skills too) are dependant on charisma so needless to say (even thought I'm saying it) buff that shit up. Any questions? Nope, that is exactly the information I was looking for. I think my character sheet is ready. |
