I made this just because I still do have a few concerns about power mimics and anyone else who does can have their say here as well. Obviously the final decision is up to the moderators and admin ^.^ I just wanted to take this concern out from the chat thread and move it where it belongs. I have noticed that you did change the power mimic definition so that you gain a new trait every two months. I thank you for for listening to the concerns we had XD However I still feel that the power mimic skill is fairly broken, even if the character created has a personality that places limits on the speed in which they take powers. My idea, and I'm sure other people have input as well ^.^ is that the power mimics can copy powers temporarily by touching someone. This way they aren't weakened compared to others when they haven't permanently learned skills. Then after that they can learn either a new power in replacement of a trait or a new power mimic trait once a month. I think that evens it out quite a bit. But I'm sure others have ideas as well if this one doesn't sound all that great ![]() Thank you for listening to me, I feel like I'm going on and on with all my questions and suggestions but its just me trying to understand the forum better and in some cases, try and guide it towards improvement, even if it isn't my idea that made the forum an even better place. I'd really rather not make it a temporary thing. If we were bigger, that could maybe work, but as it stands, that limits a power mimic to only the people around him-I can count on one hand the amount of things I could do, and none of them are particularly useful without traits, which a temporary mimic wouldn't be able to gain for any powers he picks up. A temporary power mimic would be a character who can never plan ahead. In any case, a power mimic's traits...would be kind of lame. Ranged mimicry might be the best he could do. I'd like to wait and test it out before making the decision that it's broken. It hasn't even seen action yet, and a fully informed decision cannot be made until it has. |
