Delilah returned to headquarters, pleased that she had made it without incident and could hide out here until the heat on her past. Even though it was unlikely that anyone would come to harm her in the city of Eve. Few would guess that she would be here, and those that did would fear the city where metahumans originated. After all, she had feared it, she had just learned to control that fear with the help of Lilith and hew newly developed powers.

She wandered the halls of the Elwood estate, until she found herself at the place she wished, a white room filled with targets, obstacles and dummies. This was the training room, a place she came to to relieve herself of stress more than to augment and train her powers. But as she entered the room a smile swept over her face, a smile that no longer showed the emotion of Delilah, but Lilith.

With a quick sweep of her hand hand a fireball launched from it, slamming into a training dummy. She continued to throw her hands back and forth, fire leaping from them, decorating the room with flames. She never missed, guiding the flames with her mind to hit each training dummy dead on. She laughed as she continued. It seemed she had finally gained a power she had so longed for. She was no longer just the person who took care of Delilah, she was now a true player in the world of metahumans. A separate player who made choices all by herself.
