After been asked by some users about the possibility of posting original stories, or fan fictions of another kind of fandom in the fictions forum, we decided to create a subforum for Active non-Metallica fics, to give them their own place. You can see now the new section, and we have migrated the active fics non related to Metallica in there.

For your uploading pleasure, the file size for avatars has been increased from 24KB to 35KB. Enjoy!

Any member with 2000 posts or more is now considered a "Senior Member" and will automatically be promoted from the "Member" group to the "Senior Member" group. Your "group" status in your mini profile will reflect your new group title.

Senior Members not only have the honor of having been a member long enough to rack up 2000 posts, but also have access to the "Sanitarium" forum, which is now a PRIVATE LOUNGE for senior members to post in. The Sanitarium forum is NOT VISIBLE or ACCESSABLE to members with under 2000 posts.

Senior members may also choose their own user titles. After 2000 posts, your user title will read "??????????". You may change your user title in your profile.

I closed down the board for some maintenance issues, and pretty much gutted everything. There were viruses popping up everywhere because of content posted by users, and because of the vast amount of content, I figured it would be easier to just start fresh. I deleted ALL photos. I deleted ALL of GD and the Wasteland. My appologies if this inconveniences anyone. I left up the Fan Fiction and the Anything Metallica section, as well as the Musicians Forum. Everything else is a blank slate. There are also some minor changes that will effect the way the board operates.

1 - The Sanitarium will no longer be password protected. Instead, it will be open to ALL LOGGED IN MEMBERS. If you choose to post there, please be aware that ANYONE logged in will be able to view your post. Anyone NOT logged in will not be able to read your post.

2 - Picture threads will be LOCKED after a set number of posts, to be determined. This is to prevent and isolate any rogue posts that may contain viruses. PLEASE be careful what you post and where you post it.

3 - Moderators. We will be having forum moderators.
