So recently I've been trying to master James' speed picking to such a degree I even bought his custom picks off of the Guitar Center website.

Let me tell you: THESE ARE SOOOOO WORTH BUYING! :biggrin
The style of the pick is lightweight and it's not hard to grasp. It also has a very helpful pionted tip which makes speed picking sooo much easier. I've never used a pick like this before and I love it.

The designs are epic and only make it THAT much cooler.

They come in 3 different sizes(I forgot them) but the one James' uses is the 1.14. So no matter what size you are more comfortable with they most likely have it.

Again, WORTH BUYING. You don't have to buy the whole huge set or even the tin cased one. The cheapest set was like $4 USD.

(Anybody buy Kirk's picks yet?)

Sweet! Dunlop Ultex has always been my favorite pick material, though I'm personally partial to the 1 mm. However, I haven't tried a 1.14 and I find that as I get into faster songs (I mean, Redneck by Lamb of God at 2x speed or so, or even Attitude at concert speed) I need a heavier plectrum (SAY IT OUT LOUD. It's like my second favorite word to say, next to "ambiguous," lol!), so I'm definitely going to invest in the Papa Het picks! Glad to hear such a standout review of them. :biggrin

The Blackfang is a good set, the design is awesome, the picks very good for speed, although I do prefer the Jazz H3 for solos, more maniability I think !

Oh, and to complete ElisabethOrion's post, they are available in 0.73, 0.94 and 1.14!!
