Francesca will bring it up later with James what she "accidentally found" while going through Hannah's drawers looking for space! I'm glad you appreciated it! Hannah is trying to involve Ray, but she's wary of his mental state and isn't demanding a divorce. She wants to wait until he's ready to process it or agree. Or really, she wants him to say he doesn't want one... James is surrounded by very few sensible people these days! Lars encouraged him to get a call girl in the first place (and he fancies Hannah himself), so he's not exactly going to tell James to leave her! Kirk is in Hawaii (where he always is! ) but I will jot down your suggestion in my long list of things to do to James! |

Yeah--it was a sad moment for them, where Anthony didn't recognise Ray as his father. But his reunion with his son while Hannah is in London won't be entirely dissapointing, I promise! And I'll have to see if I can get Kirk off his surfboard in Hawaii to come and talk to James.

‘No, she stayed at home’ James lied. The man doesn't know what he wants. You can't have them both, if he will continue he will be left with nothing, alone, old sexy poor man He needs to learn the lesson. Fran!!!!!!! Fran!!!!!!!!! Teach him hard

Because telling Hannah on Christmas Day that his ex-wife is sleeping in their bed is not going to go down well. He knows he's gonna be in shit, this is reckless behaviour, even for James! I purposely am making sure that he cannot have both, don't worry! Mr Hetfield will be punished for this!

Talked to Kirk. He said something about 'James can deal with his own shit' and 'the waves are too good to leave'. Sorry, I tried!

Mum had invited Anthony and I over for Christmas dinner at 8pm. I had arrived just after, expecting to meet a house full of my drunk relatives. Instead, the last of the guests were leaving as I arrived. Dad greeted me as though no such prior dinner arrangements had been made without me. He hugged me tightly, I knew for sure that he was on my side. ‘It’s good to see you back here in London’ he admitted. He took his grandson warmly into his arms. I looked around sadly, the presents were already opened, Christmas dinner was over, and my mother was collecting an array of empty wine glasses from around the room. They had deliberately met earlier without me. Dad read my disappointed expression. ‘I wanted you to come earlier, but it was your mother’s call’ Dad apologised quietly. I nodded silently, I was hurt. Tears feel quickly down my cheeks before I could wipe them away. My mother formally noticed my arrival, she had been working around Dad and I to tidy the lounge. I sat silently at the table—Mum had already cleared it, the food was all but gone, and she made a single plate for me hastily with a nasty pursed frown on her face. Dad sat beside me, hoping to break the tension between mum and I. ‘How’s Sarah?’ I asked, I knew my estranged sister’s baby was due any day now. Dad nodded. ‘Really soon I think, we talked to her this morning she sounded like she was ready’. I smiled, I remembered how I felt having Anthony. ‘Thanks mum’ I said kindly as she offered me my cold Christmas dinner, four hours after the fact. I was still hurt, but perhaps less surprised now that I saw how angry she was. She looked as though she would never speak a word to me again. ‘I’m sorry I missed the others’ I said. Despite the stories from the papers, I would have liked to have seen my extended family, I had been away for a long time. ‘Hannah, you didn’t think everyone would want to see you!’ mum scolded me. Apparently she could speak, but was only capable of malice. She continued unprovoked. ‘Your uncle has had reporters outside his house, following him to work for over a month, the neighbours have had paparazzi trespassing day and night, I can’t leave the house without someone shouting ‘You daughter’s a whore!’ at me. Don’t think for a second Hannah that they want to see you—you have brought shame to this family!’ she screeched. Dad put up his hand to stop Mum’s speech. ‘That’s enough, Mary’ he dictated. Mum threw the tea towel onto the bench top in frustration. She had evidently had a busy day of preparing and entertaining everyone at Christmas, the last thing I heard was her angry footsteps that pounded up the stairs. ‘So how’s Ray?’ Dad asked finally. He had watched me eat the cold roast beef and potatoes with a sad look. Anthony smiled in his granddad’s arms. ‘He was better than I thought’ I said honestly. Ray seemed clear of mind to me. ‘I’ll take Anthony to see him everyday before I leave’ I said, I wanted him to see his son as much as possible. ‘You’re not staying there with him?’ Dad asked in surprise. I shook my head. ‘No, I’m at the Dorchester’ I admitted. Dad’s eyes paused on mine in amazement. ‘Alright’ he said finally, accepting my decision in disappointment. ‘And Sarah called me yesterday, and said she wants to see you while you’re here’ Dad added quietly in case mum re-emerged. I was happy to hear it, while my most conservative sister and I led very different lives, we had always had a connection: we were both hard workers, she was now a lawyer in Trafalgar and mum’s most prized daughter by far. ‘I’d love that!’ I smiled. Three days later, when Dad rang my cellphone I knew it would be news of Sarah’s baby. ‘Your sister had a very quick labour, she’s had a baby boy. Come to St Margaret’s whenever you can’ Dad said warmly. I was so pleased to be back in London, I would have hated myself to have missed my new nephew’s arrival. When I arrived with Anthony, I was surprised to find Sarah alone. I had thought her boyfriend was particularly keen to be involved in their lives. Her face was red from crying, and her new son lay sleeping in the incubator beside her bed. He was much smaller than Anthony had been. ‘Hannah!’ she smiled through her tear-stained face to welcome me. My sister was a brown eyed brunette, just as I was without my telling blonde hair extensions. I took a look at her beautiful new son in the bed. His eyes were brown also, but his skin was a deep bronze colour, clearly not offspring of her own. Her boyfriend--whom I had met only once--was a fair-skinned blue-eyed Englishman. The problem in the acute difference in her baby’s appearance was apparent. ‘Sarah!’ I looked from her son to her in understanding compassion. ‘Steven’s gone! He left me!’ she sobbed. No wonder Dad hadn’t mentioned this to me. I had thought it was odd my mother wasn’t at her bedside doting over her newest grandchild. ‘Did you know all along that he wasn’t his son?’ I asked. ‘Yes!’ she cried, ‘I mean, I thought there was a good chance he wouldn’t be Steven’s! But it’s my fault, I didn’t get a paternity test, I didn’t want him to think there was even a chance he wasn’t his son!’. I nodded, I certainly understood that. ‘James is not Anthony’s biological father, but he’s a great Dad’ I assured her. ‘He might still be a brilliant father to him’ I said kindly. Sarah nodded, she thought on my words for a moment. ‘I don’t know the father’ she revealed. ‘I mean, I know when it happened, but I don’t know him or anything about him’ she explained. I sat kindly on the side of her bed and held her hand. The birth of her first child was supposed to be a joyous moment in her life. ‘Last year, before I got my job, I ran out of money—I was too embarrassed to ask mum and Dad, so I worked as an Escort for a few months. I’m quite sure the father was one of my clients’ Sarah revealed. Before I could sympathise with my sister completely, she asked me a direct question. ‘Is it true? James Hetfield was your client, and now, you’re going to marry him?!’ she asked in amazement. ‘Yes, it’s true’ I managed. I wished I had known her situation, I’d have given her money if she had ever asked for it. I sighed deeply, I understood now a little of how my parents felt at the thought of me being a call girl. Sarah’s revelation was not a surprise to me at all, the in-house escort service was one of London’s most popular forms of sex work. I had always worked for an agency which was a little less exploitative than being a brothel worker. ‘Honey, I understand’ I said. I squeezed her hand. I had been out of pocket without money to eat or pay bills for a long time before I turned to working as a call girl. ‘Mum just knows it’s another guy—I couldn’t tell them the truth now after what we’ve just been through with your story in the papers’ she said sadly. ‘The truth will always come out’ I said honestly, I had been lucky that for all these years none of my previous clients had come forward to sell their story until now that I was in the public eye with James. I thought of James and his family, and the stories they must have endured their whole lives. Now our family would go through the same. It made me wonder, if in the past, James’ infidelities had been published. Sarah’s depressed face asked me a painful question. ‘How did you meet Ray? Does he know about your past?’ she quizzed. We had a lot to catch up on. |

He so desperately wants Anthony to say it, but Anthony, because he spent the majority of the first year of his life with James, sees James as his father and not Ray. That must really hurt Ray. He's been through so much already. James takes everything he wants!
