First Metallica Song You Learned; Yay! First Thread!

I learned the intro and first half of TDTNC on my flute a while back. The person didn't put up the second half of the sheet music on PDF or something so i couldn't finish teaching myself the song...i was sad :( It's so hard to find flute music online and I really want to learn to play bass guitar or something. :)
I would recommend sticking to Treble cleft.

Flute - Treble Cleft
Bass Guitar - Bass Cleft
Guitar - Treble Cleft

Unless you already know how to read both. ^_^
I can, but I mess up a LOT. :lol:
I know how to read both (sort of) since I was trying to help my friend play his trumpet scales and we learned the difference in band this year and also in my flute lessons as well :) I REALLY want to learn how to play a new instrument...like badly. I love my flute but i just want to try something...different :P
Trumpet IS Treble Cleft....
But anyways, If you have very petite hands I'd recommend something like violin but if you have normal sized hands you can handle a guitar or bass. You can also learn how to play guitar/bass with things called tabs.

The first Metallica song I ever learned how to play was For Whom The Bell Tolls. Fun times! Seems like it was so long ago, heh.

How about anyone else? Which song popped your Metallica cherry?

The first song I learned was Fade to Black. I have struggles worb suicide for many years now. I remember hearing that song forthe first time and thinking, "Oh my god, that is exactly how I feel!" and then dawned my love for James!!!

Haha the was actually the SECOND song I learned how to play. Well, I just know the intro riff, not the whole song, but still :D
To be honest, the only reason I started to play guitar was to play Metallica songs on it lol. But now I've broadened my horizons... hehe a little Megadeth riffage too..

HAHA! I'm the opposite! I rock at the acoustic riffs. But when I have to turn my distortion on and play the chorus riff, well.. yeah that part I suck at lol

it was One, but just the intro in an Creole guitar. It's like an acoustic guitar but the sound isn't so sweet as an acoustic... yet it sounds great! :D
