Oh Bri, that'll be your first concert?! I'm going to my first concert till summer as well! I'm very excited! :D

I've gone to a concert before, but hopefully this will be my first Metallica show!!!

And Like Falyssa said Sarah, the tix haven't gone onsale yet. The sale starts for the General Public on either the 4th or 11th of April so this guy is probably trying to scam you.

The dates on the Metallica official website are for the general public. Metclubbers get their presale three days in advance. IE: April 4th for you, April 1st for Clubbers. April 11th for you, April 8th for us.

Also, I am confirmed to got to Tampa. :) Vegas is confirmed, as is San Jose and MSG. All I am working out now is Charolettesville. Canada is totally out of the question now. It's way too far.

They might announce more as in another date added (ie: MSG Sunday night) but we'll see. I don't think so.

I got a couple more questions If you don't mind. :D Is it worth getting a MetClub membership just to get the tickets earlier? And How much is a ticket for on the floor cost?

I don't mind questions at all!

It's actually easier if you are already in the club. That way you don't have to buy the membership. However, I would suggest that you buy a membership for certain shows that are totally guaranteed to sell out. That would be Vegas and MSG for sure, without a shadow of a doubt. Those are the two places that will have the highest demand, period. Florida, I'm not sure. I'm buying Tampa straight off the bat, so that state has no worries with me. Because Florida hasn't had a date in awhile, there is a worry that it could sell out, but who knows. When I mean sell out by the way, I mean floor. Seats will be plenty available, unless it's Vegas and MSG. Those two for sure will be gone the day it's public sale.

Tickets will be like last tour I believe. 75 face value for GA, 50 for seats. The taxes all depend on the venue. For example, Washington DC cost me 103 bucks. Philadelphia cost me 99. And Uniondale - Long Island cost me only 80 bucks.

I would totally suggest being a clubber anyway. You get to meet the best people ever, and it makes touring easy to do and fun as well. I've met the best guys and gals on the road and I wouldn't change it for anything. But if you're not going floor, don't do the Metclub thing. But if you are, you can either get the Metclub membership or you can wait it out and hope for the best when it's the general sale. Buying the membership and the pre-sale ticket would be extra for you, but it does secure the rail for you before anyone else. Remember, Clubbers get in before everyone else, thirty minutes before the regular doors open.

I hope this helped. :)

Being in the Metclub has been totally worth it for me. I have won so many contests and gotten so many perks and tickets, including tickets to Stubbs a week ago. I've been in their fan magazine at least three or four times over the years. Well worth the $50 a year.

He's yankin' ypur chain, the bastard. If the FANCLUB members havent gotten the opprotunity, then why would some Joe Shmo get them, unless the guy worked for Ticketmaster, but even then, he wouldnt get them for 'Free' he'd still have to pay for them.

I am going to the Toronto and Buffalo show forsure and I think they will also play a Hamilton show, so when/if they do I will be at that show as well.

And there are some jobs which the person can get the tickets next to free however, they are box office seats. I know many people with jobs either working for the radio company or do promoting for the venue and those people get the tickets for a very very cheap price but they are not floors.
