For me its all about the So What mags :D Always interesting, always great stuff. And getting tickets for the floor when the guys come to town was also a major plus for me too. I liked the club shirt a lot this year too. I dunno, I always like to welcome (or re-welcome) people to the club, so I say if you got the cash, you should do it :biggrin

I'm an active member of the Club so I get a lot out of it. I've met the best people ever through the club, was able to work out touring when the guys were here in the US, joined one of the best Metclub chapters, made friends with international members as well, and then of course, there is all the crap that is hidden in the Top Secret section of the boards, the Garage Sales on the Metstore, the chance for secret gigs, get floor and seat tickets and be the first people into the venue 30 minutes before everyone else, have the band read the threads on the board (ie: Lars), and have them talk about it... it's pretty awesome.

So if you've got the cash, come on back if you want.

I love So What, and the Top Secret-section. And I bought my tix for Ahoy through MetClub.

I'd love to send a drawing to the Club too, but... I don't have a proper one yet :P

Me too. My membership expires in October, I'm not sure if I'm going to renew again, it's expensive and annoying that I have to borrow my dad's creditcard

  What currency do you accept?
The fastest way to join Met Club is online with a credit card. If you cannot pay by credit card: You can send a check in US dollars for your membership. If you are in a country other than the US, you can get a check for US dollars from a bank in your country that is affiliated with a US bank. You can send a money order in US dollars if it is easier. You can get a money order at a post office, a bank, an American Express office or a Western Union office (please, not a money transfer that we have to pick up - please send a money order in the mail - it is like a check). Please do not send a money transfer, we do not accept money transfers. We cannot pick them up. Please do not send cash. You can also send traveler's checks in US dollars if that is easier for you. (Don't forget to sign your traveler's checks in both places on each check). Go to www.metclub.com and click JOIN or renew. If you choose a credit card payment you will have an immediate membership after you pay. If you choose check or money order (you can choose money order if you want to pay with traveler's checks) please print out the order form and send it with your payment to the Club address (above). Please write your order number on your check or money order or traveler's checks.

Club member since 2003 here. I think the So What mags are my favorite part too. All the stuff on the website, the t-shirt, and pre-sale tickets are all really cool. Not to metion the chance to win a M&G pass, which I was lucky enough to get back in my first year of being in the club.

I just joined at the beginning of this year after 20 years... Well, better late than never. I always said I'm never gonna get a credit card but I did anyway... just to join Metclub.
I love the SoWhat magazines so much I'm collecting them now. I've bought 14 of them this year and I'm gonna collect every one that's not been sold out.
But the biggest reason for me to join was pre-sale tickets. In Finland it's almost impossible to get a ticket to Met concert (because they sell out so fast) and I really don't want to miss any of their concerts anymore. :) :horns2
And I love the top secret section at the Metclub site. All the cool videos and stuff. And you get to read the old SoWhat magz in the archives. I spend days reading them when I joined. :biggrin
