I loved the So What! mags when I was a member. They were so much fun to read and you always have to read them twice because you always miss something the first time you read it! :)

As far as concert tickets go, I wish I would have thought about joining back in September of last year when tickets for the Houston show went on presale. I was a member of Mission:Metallica and I got my presale tickets like that. I didn't know they still gave out M and G passes through MetClub. It would be cool to have that "advantage" but at the same time, I don't think they will be coming back to Houston any time soon. I still want to join, though!

I've been in MetClub for well over 12 years....it is like a big family...I have made wonderful, wonderful friends, both guys and girls...one in Cleveland, and one in Poznan, Poland, 4 here in Seattle.....

I love pictures, and you get the fan club mag, So What, 4 times a year....there are fun contests, special pics and videos on MetClub.com site for Clubberz only....

Clubberz get first chance at concert tix before anyone else...and we had our own entrance to venues this tour, and we were let in before the public, so we all got to The Rail!!!

A very important thing thing I want to mention about MetClub:

The RRHOF ceremony was supposed to be streamed live on FUSETV.com, but FUSETV.com totally dropped the ball, and did not provide a link on April 4th. Many peeps like me do not get FUSE channel 476 on our cable, if we live where we can't get that cable....

the only way I was able to see the whole ceremony, Flea's speech, the guys's speeches at the podium, the 2 songs they played, then the all-star jam..was through another Clubberz' link he provided for us on MetClub.com...........

if it wasn't for that Clubber, I NEVER could have seen Kirk fighting back tears up at the podium as the others spoke......for me, that was like winning the lottery....It was incredibly important to me that I witness one of Kirk's biggest nights of his career and his persoanl life....and to watch how moved he was, it was fucking priceless, man!

yes you can see the guys speeches on FUSE.com or YouTube....but I also wanted to see it pretty much AS IT WAS HAPPENING!

I was able to do that thru MetClub.com....

other cool stuff:

Sometimes the guys in the band will write short letters to us, like when Kirk jammed with Tool on the song "Sober" when Tool played Honolulu in summer 2006, Kirk wrote to us all to tell us what it was like....

And when James got sick last last month and they had to cancel Stockholm, Sweden show, he wrote to all of us to explain what happened, and he thanked us for the well wishes.

MetClub is a very personal connection between the band and us fans.
it feels very one-on-one....

I will always be a MetClub member.

Always.

it is my HOME

I also forgot to mention all the cool shit you get from MetStore, like cool-ass Metallica clothes...the Death Magnetic Coffin set, and Fan Cans...super cool Clubberz-only DVDs and cds!!!!!

for example, Fan Can 5 has a dvd of Metallica playing a tiny, sweaty little SF club called Kimos, where play played Ramones songs....and the outdoor show they did on a flatbed truck in the Oakland Raider's game parking lot, and some live songs from a Clubberz-only free show at the Fillmore in SF........

....all thru MetClub.........

I love So What, and the Top Secret-section. And I bought my tix for Ahoy through MetClub.

Me too. My membership expires in October, I'm not sure if I'm going to renew again, it's expensive and annoying that I have to borrow my dad's creditcard

same here My membership expires'd a long time ago. :(
