the wonderful team at MetOnTour.com just posted an amzing video of the May 4th Globen Arena show from Stockholm, Sweden.

This time, they did an innovative time-lapse vid of the Metallica stage set up, and show, accompanied by the song Suicide and Redemption....
a brief vid of James in the Meet and Greet, then the band pre-show huddle, led by Lars, right before they took the stage...it gave me goosebumps......

A very special note to all Kirk fans:
click on Antwerp, Begium video....during the performance, Kirk gets SO CLOSE to the cameraman, as he plays, you can practically kiss his feet, and he does a smile that can melt a chocolate bar from 100 paces...
enjoy ladies!!! :drool :horns2

Amazing video!! :horns2
James was so hyped before the show. Looked like he couldn't hold himself down... that's amazing they still feel like that after so many years.
That's Metallica !! :rockdevil:

Actually, Tracy in Seattle :P , I had the same feelings when I'd watched that video earlier today and I felt obliged to post something about it on offical forums. So I'll just copy and paste it here:

Wow, Metallica road crew looks like an industrious ant colony! These guys are doing such a vital job. It was amazing to see the effort they put for every show. So kudos to the crew for their hard work and also to the video crew who put this time lapse together. Montage was cool. On the other hand, I do agree that this shouldn't be done regularly or else nobody will bother watching it.
The best thing about the video was seeing the band hit the stage without any cuts from Ecstacy of Gold into That was Just Your Life. It gives us the chance to share the excitement. Personally, I had the chills running down my spine while watching this part. I hope they'll do this more often.

I wonder how long it takes them to completely set it up?

They've done the cut from Ecstasy to Life about three times on MOT since DM started.

Lovely words from Lars.

Ooo these videos always make me excited!
That pregnant woman is sooo lucky to have had her belly touched by Lars! That kid must be a Metallica fan when it's born!
Lars is hilarious with the set list talk
And I officially love James in this video
