I'm seeing Metallica in Germany on sunday! And I was wondering (because I'm not from Germany) if it is allowed to bring your photo camera (just the regular small digital ones, nothing pro) to the show. Often it is not allowed here (Holland) and I'd hate to give it away to some security guy. So if you know anything then please let me know. Otherwise I will just leave my camera at home. I don't have a phone that can take pics. |

when i was at the death magnetic release party it was allowed. actually they did not even really check if i have a camera with me. they just saw my umbrella and told me to leave it there. i don't think that it's a problem to bring a camera with you. and i met someone who has already been to like 100 concerts (not only metallica) and she said that she never had any problems with bringing a camera. |

Yesterday they didnt allow just big and profesional looking cameras, if you have a regular small one, i think there will not be any problems ;) |

Well this sounds convincing to me, thanks! I don't know if the pics will be any good, because I'm pretty far away from the stage (I'm in the upper ring of the arena), but hey, the concert is free and I will try the best I can.
