I needed to choose a song I want to perform for my Music Class exams. I have picked a few song, but the song I wanted to do soooo badly is Hallowed Be Thy Name. Now, I want to sing along with the song, but I don't want to have Bruce Dickinson still on the audio. I've been trying my best to find the instrumental version, so without vocals, but I can't find it. I'm really desperate now. I want this so bad, that I'm gonna try everything to make this happen. If any of you has or finds the version I want, please send it to me. You'll make me soooo happy!! Thanks in advance, Jennifer. |

Do you know of any instrumental versions that exist? A bit related: You know some time back there were master tracks for Metallica songs released. You can mix them together without the vocals and you'd have pretty much what you want, it's just not Iron Maiden though. If there were master tracks for this Iron Maiden song, we would have something. |

http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/play/iro...be_thy_name.htm That's the only thing I could find I'm afraid, that site is normally pretty damn great for stuff like that though. I guess you could strum along with it maybe? |

I found that one already. I think it's too fake-sounding. And, yes, Max, I know about the Met-tracks, I just don't know if (and which) song to play. HBTN is still first choice. |

Okay, so I changed my choice. The vocals for HBTN are just too hight for me. I can get the first high note (the Running low-part) but after that, the high notes are too high. I'm afraid that under the pressure of a gig (and school exam!) I'll screw up. I don't want to take that risk. So, I now chose Orion. Problem is... I can't find any tracks for it.

Yeah, I know. But my voice doesn't really fit with Metallica's music anyway. I thought that if I was going to play with others (you have to at least perform with a group once) I'd play guitar. Turns out I have to play bass. So, I thought it'd be cool to show of some guitar playing skills And I have the tab book, so pretty accurate tabs. And: there are a few lead parts that I CAN play, and I wanted to show some solo/lead work. And I had some trouble with bending, and I'm getting better at that. So that's why
I couldn't find it, so... do you have a link to the Torrent? Or... any other way to send it? It'd be so awesome!
