Right so, i've recently started playing guitar, but i'm stuck on WHAT to do to practice.
I've learned a few songs already with just a few chords but i was thinking how should i progress from here?
Obviously i'll be doing very simple things for a while longer but I'm thinking in between just doing what i'm doing now,
Things like finger exercises and that?
Just to keep me occupied because it's getting a little repetitive playing the same kinds of songs 10 times a day.
I'm not bothering how long it'll take either i'd just like to know how i should go about learning.
Thank you :]

I haven't played guitar in a few years and I don't even own a guitar anymore! XD But I always found scales good for practicing, esp. intervals. They really help to get your fingers coordinated. :)

Ok well i know i am beginner and well when i went for lessons the teacher gave me a book that has stuff i can practice on and it has helped me out. Did you go for lessons? If so did they give you a book? If they did then practice that and it should help you.
