^^^ It was only three days!!! But okay, just coz I love you and because you know I have more. @ Tiffany. But would her mind remembers Thor...? Thank you!!! @ Bo. What you think that storm is? coughopenportalcough @ Jordan. Well... I think we need someone else to help, do we? Thank you hunny! Thank you all girls!!! Okay here is more! (Continue of Lana's POV) The rain only lasted a few minutes, but the wind had never stopped, getting stronger. It was playing in the tree branches and making their highlighted by lightning shadows dance on the walls of the cave. I lay on my bedding, watching the fire slowly crackling on the wood, and listening to Perun's fury outside. My mind, stirred up by the storm and the earlier talk with Sig, drifted to a memory of one day from my childhood, the last day I saw Radda. It was a sunny morning and I took my time admiring the beauty of the forest on my way to her house. The storm came out of nowhere, turning the sky dark, and by the time I reached Radda's place I was wet from head to toe, and shaking with cold. I closed my eyes, letting my mind drift into the past. I was sitting in a warm bed, wrapped up in a blanket, watching the play of the lightnings on the gloomy sky behind the small window. Radda brought me a cup of herbal tea and smiled when I jumped at the sound of loud thunder. “No need for fear my dear, Thor's anger is not directed at us.” “You mean Perun's.” I lowered my cup and she pushed my hands back up, encouraging me to drink more. “The God of Thunder has many names. Slavs call him Perun, Norths, like me call him Thor.” “Is he the most powerful God for you, too?” I lowered my cup again and she looked at me, pulling out her pendant. Her fingers slid on three horns intertwined with each other in a circle. “He is almighty, but I believe there is someone more powerful.” Her eyes returned to me. “No one is more powerful.” I took a few more sips. “What about Odin, or as you call him Svarog, Perun's father?” Radda smiled at me. “Svarog is mighty but old, people get weak when they turn old.” “No all. I'm old, but I'm not weak, neither is Odin. He's mighty in body and knowledge. I always pray to him above all other Gods.” “Mother never told me much about Svarog... Odin... Can you tell me about him? I want to know.” I handed her an empty cup and she stood up, taking it to the table before returning to me and making herself comfortable on the little stool by the bed. “Odin is a wise king of the God's world. He has a wife, the beautiful Goddess Frigg, your people call her Lada, and they have three sons. Thor, the God of Thunder.. Loki or as you call him, Veles, the Trickster God of mischief and chaos, Odin adopted him as a infant and he's the same age as Thor. And the third son, Balder, the God of Light.” “We call him Svetovid! He is my favorite God and not just because my name means light. He brings light that helps plants grow, farmers pray to him for a successful harvest. He also a mighty warrior, and he rides on a white horse, slaying darkness with his almighty sword!” I swung my hand in the air as if I had a sword and Radda laughed, pulling the blanket back onto my shoulders. “Now, my little warrior of light, take a nap. You need to let those herbs work, the body is restored faster when at rest. I would hate for you to get sick because you got all wet in the rain. Sleep.” Her hand softly brushed through my hair. “But I want to know more about Odin...” I whined and she smiled. “You try to sleep and I'll tell you more.” “Okay!” I turned on my side, making myself comfortable under covers and Radda sat on the bed by me. “Odin is a supreme God, he created all the worlds, including this one. He can see the past and the future and as his two ravens fly over the worlds, Odin can see everything they see. He also has two wolves, his companions for the hunt and his loyal bodyguards.” “Is that's why you have wolves and ravens, too? Because you feel connected to Odin?” “No dear, the ravens were living in that old oak by the house long before I found this place, as for the wolves... You can never own a wolf, it's not a dog. Blake saved my life one day, and we've been friends ever since. I'm happy when he comes and visits me, some times he joins me on my walks, you know, he was the one who found you. I remember it as it was yesterday, it was an unusually soft winter, we were walking in the mountains and--” “No, Radda, don't you remember it was a summer! I was laying in the green grass when Blake found me.” I laughed and Radda lowered her eyes. “Oh... right... summer.” She looked back at me with a smile. “I guess my memory's not as strong as I thought... Now sleep, you promised me. By the time you wake up, your clothes will be all dry and the storm will be over, I'll walk you back to your home, who knows, maybe Blake will accompany us.” “I promise I'll sleep, but tell me more about Odin, please!” I begged and she shook her head at me. “Okay, but just a little bit and then you sleep. Where was I? Oh, yes, the wolves also accompany him in battles. You know, Odin is a great warrior, he has a magical spear called Gungnir, it never misses its target. As I said he also craves knowledge and even gave his eye for the secret of the runes. They reveal to him that at the end of the world there will be a great battle between the Gods and the giants, that is why he's building an army to fight on the Gods' side. Odin selects the fastest, brightest, and strongest human warriors who die on the battlefield and sends his Valkyries to bring them to Valhalla.” “I never heard of Valkyries... are they Gods, too?” “They are Demigods, half Gods, but not less powerful. They are women warriors, beautiful and fearless, they are chosen from the children of Gods and humans and given immortality when they swear their loyalty to Odin. A Valkyrie can draw from your inner power and bring it out. They can free you of fear or drown you in it, bring up and increase you courage and power or make you flee if you are not worthy of the victory. As they fly over the battlefield on their winged horses, their shields and armor shines, lighting up the night sky, in beautiful, shimmering lights...” “Northern lights! That's them? The next time I see it, I will run closer and maybe I can see the Valkyries, I mean... If they are half human... we can see them, right?” “Well... I don't really know. I guess if they decide to show themselves to you, you can. There is a few stories of Valkyries advising human warriors before a battle... even training them.” “I really want to meet one!” “I wouldn't mind meeting one myself. They say once a Valkyrie enters your life, you are never quite the same again, for your soul and spirit have grown the feeble enclosure of your body.” Radda pulled the covers, tucking it around my body and stood up. “Now sleep, little one, maybe you will see the Gods' world and Valkyries in your dreams.” I don't remember what I saw in my dreams that day, when I woke up the storm was over and Radda walked me to the edge of the forest. I turned as I run back to my house and waived to her... that was the very last time I saw my friend. That was the worst day of my life... the day people of the village set my oak on fire... I sighed, pulling covers closer to my face and turned to the side. My eyes felt heavy and my mind fogged up, slowly drifting into my dream world. The darkness lit up with stars, and they moved, pulling me with them. As my body flew over the world I saw beautiful clouds in the distance and my heart pulled forward. Between the clouds I saw a beautiful floating island, and as I came closer, I gasped, watching the clear blue rivers spilling over the edges in endless waterfalls. The golden towers of multiple castles were glistening in the sun, connected to each other with lacy golden bridges, and breathtaking forests and gardens covered the land as far as I could see. I came closer to the tallest castle, and my body slowed down, landing in the most beautiful garden. As I walk between amazing plants to the center of the garden I felt absolutely happy, but that feeling was multiply a thousand times, making me gasp in pure euphoria when I saw an enormous ash tree in the middle of the garden. Strong, almost visible power surrounded me, and I closed my eyes, drawing energy with every pore of my body. It felt like nothing I'd ever felt before, as if life itself touched me. The bliss took over me and I stretched my hands to the tree. My body lifted in the air and something warm wrapped around me. I felt light movement, as if someone was holding me in their arms, while a soft and somehow familiar voice of a man whispered somewhere near me. “Oh Aegle, my love, look, she's just a few hours old, but she can already feel the power of the tree of life!” “I know, isn't she precious? So beautiful... sleep my dear... sleep...” In the somewhat bleary light I saw the beautiful face of a woman above me. Her green eyes were glowing with love and she smiled, lowering me into a cradle. Her hand closed a curtain made from softly glowing blue flowers and my body lightly rocked, as a beautiful singing softly carried me in the waves of love. Someone's voice interrupted the singing and I saw a head full of chestnut curls. Curious blue eyes peeked from behind the curtain. “She's so little... I made her this as a birthday present... it will always protect her...” I tried to hold on and listen, but the little boy's voice faded away as my mind fell back into darkness. The chilling scream of the woman cut through the air, making my heart jump, and my eyes flew open. I felt cold fingers of fear crawling up my spine as a blood stained sword, with glowing blue scripture cut though the curtain of wilted and frost covered blue flowers, nearing me. Ice grew from the sides of me, turning my world to gloomy blue darkness and then it split, turning stars into lines and something warm and soft moved by my side. A wet tongue touched my cheek and a cold nose sniffed my ear and I opened my eyes, sitting up. “Blake! I saw a weird and horrible dream...” I didn't finish my sentence, staring at the dark forest outside of the cave. It was just a dream... amazingly beautiful dream.. that turned into a horrid nightmare... The scream of the woman echoed in my heart, and I rubbed my hands on my arms, standing up and walking to the entrance. The sky in the south was twirling with stormy clouds, as unsettled as my mind. Who were those people I saw? Where was that place? Who was that woman screaming in the dark? And why did all this makes me feel so painfully sad and scared? The gust of chilly wind made me shiver and I came back to the safety of the cave, crawling under my covers. My mind brought back the face of the woman from my dream and green eyes smiled at me. Who are you? Was it you who was screaming? And that bloody sword... I felt a tear crawling out of the corner of my eye and turned to my side, feeling eternal loneliness swallowing me. I never felt this way before, not even when I left my family... this felt real, too real... but my mind couldn't connect the people I saw to anyone I knew in my life. My eyes stopped on Sig, who turned in her sleep and smiled as a ripple of thunder rolled over the sky, and suddenly I understood what she must've felt. |

This is so beautiful!!! She likes the God of Light, she says. Really? I wonder why?
I imagined this so vividly!!! I can't stop thinking about the God of Light it seems. So many things happening, what was that dream? Who is she? Not just any nymph it seems. And that boy... I wonder what color hair does our God of Light sport? Whose wolf is Blake exactly? And why is he there keeping an eye on our Lana? I love this story so much, it is addictive, I cannot get enough of it. And you're not helping. This
is such a KILLER!!!! And the portal's opened and Thor's coming to Midgard! More, more, more, more!!!!

Uf, I missed two half-chapters. But, that made a whole chapter! Some parts were especially revealing and beautifully written. Obviously, Lana has hidden and lost memories from her past just as Astrid. Maybe they are connected in some way? Maybe it's not an accident that Lana feels Astrid to be like her sister... and she does not want to lose her... again? I am curious of Radda's reaction when she sees Astrid for the first time. She does posses the knowledge, but would she have a wisdom to recognize a Valkyrie. Astrid maybe doesn't remember Thor now. But what is in her soul and heart can not be erased by amnesia. I liked a few lines especially. "But this rumbling... It's... it makes my heart skip and beat faster..." "No... I don't feel frightened, it feels like something... something I know... something... close to my heart, I feel... safe... as safe as I've ever been in my life. It makes me feel warm... happy and somehow sad at the same time... I can't really explain it..." "I know one thing, I love thunder!" My eyes stopped on Sig, who turned in her sleep and smiled as a ripple of thunder rolled over the sky, and suddenly I understood what she must've felt." Her connection with Thor is deeper than she ever realized, and I bet Odin knew that. Thor is not the only one who must understand his heart, Astrid has to do the same. I liked how you described Sig in thunder lighting, she became even more prettier... hm, symbolism? P.S. I liked how you explained and connected the two pantheons. My favorite Slavic God was always Svetovid, so I will definitely love Balder. Please in his case don't be faithful to mythology. You know... use the artistic freedom.

@ Jordan. Thank you hunny! Yes here he comes... well... he is getting ready to go... lol @ Maja. Thank you dear for a wonderful comment! Missing updates has one good thing, more to read! And yes, her heart remembers, but would her mind remember him? I guess we find out soonish.. lol As soon as I get to that part! @ Mia. Thank you! I love both Nordic and Russian mythology and considering that russian people came form three tribes. Slavs, Varyags (that what Greeks called Vikings) and Scythians it's easy to see why it's so simular, just different names, but same Gods. Thank you girls so much for reading and taking your time to leave me heartwarming comments! I'm so glad this fiction is addictive as many of you said! I love you all! Thank you again! Okay, let's see what our James... I mean Thor is doing, shall we? XIII. (Thor's POV) Sigyn moved her eyes from me to my motionless copy and back, a smile slowly appeared on her lips. “I would never tell which one is the real you, unless I knew. I think it worked perfectly!” “If you think so.” I turned my head and looked at the other me, smirking to myself. So that is how I look like in the flesh. Not bad... a little too... I don't know, Godly and warrior-like, but not bad. “Well, I can't tell who is who.” A raspy voice made us turn. An old Satyr was sitting by the door, his eyes were set on the copy as his hand drew a drinking horn from his lips. What in the name of... “You're late, Gemon.” Sigyn frowned and the Satyr slowly got up on his goat-like legs, and hid his horn in a little leather pouch on the belt. “Sorry, my Goddess, but it's not easy to get around on these old legs of mine.” “What is this? I thought no one was supposed to know?” I turned to Sigyn and she smiled. “Gemon has been serving my family for ages and I trust him.” She turned to the Satyr. “Well, don't just stand there, did you get it or not?” “You wouldn't be asking me to do the job, if you were doubting my ability, now would you my Lady?” The Satyr crackled and limped his way to the center of the room. “It wasn't easy I tell you, for an old goat like me. I had to go down to Midgard in the evening with the first nymphs and after I told them to start gathering seeds from the nearby grounds, I started looking for vikings. Had to go way north, to find a small party, that was hiding from the storm in a valley. Stupid drunks stayed up all night by the fire sharing battle stories. I had to listen to all their rubbish and drunken singing, good thing they had a lot of honey mead.” He winked at me and brushed his hand over his beard. “That sure took some of the frustration off and sweetened the wait. When they finally fell asleep, I got everything you asked for.” He pulled a small bag from his belt, shaking it in his hand and the mouth of the bag stretched, letting out a sword, an axe, a horned helmet, and a big bundle wrapped in fur. “It's all in here, to the last mead sunken thread. I wonder what that viking will think when he wakes up butt naked.” He giggled, shaking his head, clearly amused and picked up the pack, handing it to the Goddess of Nymphs. “Oh... what a stench!” Sigyn covered her nose and waved her hand in my direction. “Give it to Thor, he will be the one wearing it.” “Well, you wanted it to be authentic. Real viking-like, so...” The Satyr smirked, watching me jerk my head back as the rich smell of honey, alcohol, and sweat reached my nostrils. “I have to wear this?” I pushed my hands with the bale as far from my face as I could. “You need to be one of them, humanlike in every way just in case one of the nymphs sees you when you land in Midgard. We can't risk being exposed, if any of them say anything to anyone, this will all be over before it even starts.” I looked at my double, who was wearing a silky white shirt with shining like new leather pants like I was, and sighed. “Okay... but can we at the very least get the smell to a tolerable level? I mean... if I smell like this, Heimdall will not need his all-seeing eyes, no invisibility cloak will be able to hide this stench.” Sigyn nodded her head and the Satyr made his way back to me with a grumpy mumble. “Gods... so sensitive, I smell nothing bad, just a bit of honey mead, which by the way smells good.” He waved his hand over the clothes and the smell subsided a bit. Sigyn looked down, still covering her nose with one hand and picked up the helmet. Barely holding it with two fingers, she dropped it on top of my package and stepped back. “You go and change and I will finish my work with the spell to bring your copy to life. We haven't got much time, it's almost sunrise and the last nymphs will be leaving soon.” I made my way to the bedroom and threw the bundle on the bed, carefully unwrapping it. The smell immediately filled the room, making my eyes water and I sighed, feeling a wave of nausea. I can do this. If that is what it takes, I can do this. I just hope Astrid won't run away from me as soon as she smells this shit... I slid out of my clothes and picked up the clearly oversized in the waist, but short pants and pulled them on, trying not to think about what was in them earlier. Next were the worn down and beat up boots and a belt. I picked up an undershirt, soiled and stained to the point of being unrecognizable in color, and dropped it on the floor. No way I'm wearing this. I tied up the cape made of worn off and covered with balding patches wolf's fur over my shoulders and finished my attire with the horned helmet. I clenched my jaw, feeling my skin crawl as the clothes brushed on my body with movement. I can do this. I sighed, and walked out of the room, feeling and smelling like I just washed myself in a muddy puddle of horse piss. “So...? I look like shit don't I? I sure smell like it.” “A few good drinks and you won't care what you smell like, trust me.” The Satyr smirked and patted his leather pouch with his hand. “Well... you definitely don't look like a God.” Sigyn giggled and covered her lips with her hand. “In the name of Odin, what is this stench?” Balder made his way to the room and his eyes stopped on the Satyr. “Oh... sorry..” I scrunched my nose and sighed. “No, that would be me. I have to look and smell like a real viking so...” Balder waved his hand by his face. “Most of them wash time to time, you know.” “The one these clothes belonged to clearly never did.” I tried not to breath too deep, feeling lightheaded from the fumes. “No, that is unacceptable. I mean you are going to the girl you l--... um... Astrid would pass out before you even reach her!” Balder quickly made his way to me and before anyone could say a world, he beamed his light over me, turning my outfit fitted for the right size and looking absolutely new. “Balder, no! Shit, now he looks like he just bought it all! It will blow his cover.” “I can't let my brother go to a girl looking and smelling like he was wrestling with pigs! Let me see... a little bit of this and that... then a small burned part in here and an oily smudge here and less of the color in here and here... this should fringe a little.. and... just a touch of this...” His hands waved in the air and the clothes turned worn off to just the right degree, and the best part of it all, the horrid stench was gone, replaced by mix of the smell of the fire, weathered leather, and an ocean breeze. Balder stepped back and smiled. “There, now it's perfect.” “Thanks brother, now I can breath and don't feel like I'm going to throw up. What do you think Sigyn?” I turned around and everyone smiled, nodding with approval. “Definitely better. Okay, now for the main part. Balder, can you tell that this is not Thor?” Sigyn pulled my double from behind the screen and I saw my brother's eyes widen. “Wow! I mean really, wow! It looks just like him, I mean exactly like him!” He walked around the copy and stopped in front of it, poking his finger to the double's chest. “Can it talk?” “Sure I can talk, I can also kick your ass if you don't stop poking me.” I heard my own voice and smiled when Balder giggled. “Yep, it's Thor.” “What the fuck are you all still doing here and why aren't you dressed for the trip yet? We still have to get to the portal! Come on Thor, hurry up!” Loki stormed through the door and pulled the hand of my copy, then his eyes stopped on me and he let go of my double's arm smirking. “Well, I'll be damned...” “If my own brothers can't tell the difference no one else would.” I smiled and bent to pick up the viking's sword, as my hand reached to the axe, the helmet slid, rolling on the floor, and stopping by Gemon's hooves. The Satyr quickly picked it up, shaking his head and pushed the helmet into his magic bag. Then looked at me and pulled the weapons out of my hands and they followed the helmet, vanishing into his bottomless sack. “You hide under the cloak and I'll carry those in here until we get to Midgard, can't risk you dropping anything on the bridge now, can we?” He turned on his hooves and started to walk to the door. “Well, come on, what are you waiting for? I haven't got all day, you know.” |

What's hotter than James/Thor disguised as a brutal Viking? Two of them. Except one is in leather and a white silky shirt. THAT = my death. Lol here Balder comes to save the day!!! That part about the stench made me laugh. And that makes me wonder if they have different or more powerful senses than we do... a greater sense of touch, maybe? I mean, um... idk. lol Okay... Fucking Gemon scares me... working for Doro... he could be a real potential problem on the upcoming fight to get Astrid back. I almost forget that Loki and his hoe are bad... they're such convincing, lying assholes. UGGH, this makes me anxious! THANK YOU! MORE!

That was so funny! I really enjoyed reading it! I don't like that Thor believes Sigyn so much, and now she is involving her faithful servant? Too much negative energy surrounds Thor... even though it looks like they all helping him to get to Astrid. I fear what may come of this.
Satisfied smirk on his face - that conceited bastard. 'Godly and warrior-like,' well, it seems he can't run away from himself. Once a God always a God, he really doesn't have a problem with his self-confidence, does he?. Warrior-like James... ups Thor! Now I have even better picture in my head Viking-like Thor! So many things to drool about!
As I told already once a God always a God. But he takes off his "silky white shirt" just to save Astrid. It says something, right?
It was amusing and hilarious to read! Thor's struggle with his new clothes and the smell.
Aw... Balder, what a great brother! He's the only one who offers genuine help and support for Thor! He is so sweet, I really like him.
It is definitely James... grrr, I mean Thor! And the action is starting, Thor is on his way to Midgard, finally! I hope Astrid will react well to Viking warrior. Blond, long hair / 185 cm / blue eyes / wide shoulders and a little bit cheeky attitude. What not to like? It will be funny to see Thor adapting to his mortal role, it will be interesting and troublesome. Thor has to accept that he won't be treated as a God (I don't know how will his ego survive this!). Life was too easy for him till now! He will have to win Astrid heart and get respect without his divine powers. I can't wait for the next update. Don't you dare to tease us and write update without Thor. Do you hear me? |

@ Jordan. Well, we just have to see about Gemon and Sigyn... The smell.. well, there were no showers back then, so... yeah I imaine the smell was not so nice...hehehehe @Maja. Wow! Awesome comment! You got all the little details, hunny! Thank you girls!!! Thanks for reading and taking your time to let me know what you think! It means so much to me! I love you all! Okay, now it's time to go back to our Valkyrie, shall we? (Lana's POV) “I'm not wearing this.” Sig was holding one of my dresses, that I picked for her. “But... you have too...” My eyes slid on her figure. The white undershirt that I prepared for her was barely covering the top part of her thighs. Her legs were clad in her own pants, the leather was blackened with burned patches but held together, somehow miraculously surviving the fire. The burned out holes on the sides of her knee-high boots were covered with a strips of rabbit fur and the leather belts that I used to tie the bedding with were wrapped from her ankles to the top of the boots, holding it all together. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail and it moved as she shook her head. “There is no way I'm wearing this.” She put the dress down. “But... you just have undergarments on, women wear those under dresses when it's cold... It's a rule and...” I didn't finish my sentence, stumbling on Sig's glare. “Who's rule? Who said that women should wear something that uncomfortable, that would catch on every stick, every bush as we walk in the forest?” “You just tuck it up, while we are alone and then let it down when we meet someone...” I tried to plea, but she smiled. “I will save the trouble and go like this.” She tied a belt over the undershirt, picked up the fur I used for the bedding, throwing it over her shoulders as a cape. “See, I'm comfortable and warm and the most importantly I can walk with nothing on my way.” She tied the long corners together on her chest. “I know, it's more comfortable, but... it's considered to be improper for a woman to wear pants in public... especially pants as tight as yours...” My eyes stopped on her legs. “Well, if the public has a problem with the way I dress, they can talk to my sword.” She picked up her weapon and rose it in front of her with a fearless smile. I looked down at my dress, moving the fabric to sway over my legs and sighed. “I wish I was as brave as you are...” “I can cut it shorter for you if you want.” Her sword neared me, outlining the front at the level of my thighs and I stepped back, suddenly remembering the sword from my dream. “No... it's okay... I will manage...” I mumbled, staring at the blade and pushed the tip of the sword away with my finger. Sharp pain shot up my arm and I opened my mouth to wince but the sound never made it out, getting stuck in my suddenly dry throat. The moment my finger touched the blade a gold, glowing symbol appeared at the base of it. I felt the blood draining from my face, as a cold flash gripped my throat tighter and my eyes widened, but before I could say anything the vision was gone, returning the blade back to its usual unremarkable steel. Did that really just happen or am I seeing things? “Sig... your sword...” I kept my eyes on the blade as it draw away, feeling increasing burning on the tip of my finger. I pulled my hand up and looked at my finger with surprise. A few drops of blood dropped from the cut on to the rocky floor of the cave and Sig threw her sword on the ground, gripping to my hand. “Oh no! You're bleeding! I'm sorry, I didn't mean too! Why did you touch the blade? Don't you know it's sharp? Shit.. you look like you're going to pass out, you're so pale. Are you okay?” She pulled one of the bundles with the bedding closer and helped me to sit down. “I never... I never injured myself before...” I finally came out of the stupor, feeling my head spin. “It's not so bad, just a little cut, we just need to wrap it with something and raise your hand up, and it will stop bleeding.” I felt my mind coming back from the fog and everything cleared up. “There are a few leaves of plantago right there in that sack, it will help. They stop bleeding pretty fast, I used it on your wound.” Sig jumped up, digging into the baggage, and my eyes came back to the her sword on the floor. Normal blade, no markings of any kind. It was just my mind playing tricks on me, I remembered my dream and saw something that wasn't there... that is all. I stood up and smiled at Sig's worried face, she was holding a leaf of aloe. “Is that it?” “No, although it will help too if you cut it in half.” My eyes slid on the sword as she picked it up, cutting the leaf and I shook my head. There was nothing there, it was just my imagination. In a few minutes my cut was wrapped and everything was ready for the trip. Sig stepped out of the cave and I gave it one last look, making sure we hadn't forgotten anything. My eyes stopped on the winged helmet. “You're not taking your helmet?” “It's bent and broken, I have no use for it...” She didn't turn, her eyes was set on the sky in the south and I stepped closer, following her gaze and saw boiling with flashes of lightning clouds. Weird... the storm didn't move at all, still there, like it's stuck somewhere above that horrid, burnt down valley... Weird but good, lets hope it won't follow us. “Ready?” I touched Sig's arm and she turned to me with a somewhat absent expression. “Yeah... I'm ready.” Her eyes glanced back to the storm and she stepped forward, throwing one of the bundles of luggage over her shoulder. “Let's go.” I let go of the rocky wall of the cave, fixing the straps of my sack and looked at the clear sky in the north. “May the Gods be with us.” |

Hahaha! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Astrid and Thor both start out their POVs with something like "I'm not fucking wearing this." Lol see? They're MEANT for each other! And poor Lana, she stands no chance against Sig when she's made up her mind about... Well, anything, lol. Sig looks hot and metal! So to the sword... Maybe once they get to Radda and Lana tells her what's been happening to her, she will put the pieces together. And such good imagery when she touches it! Ugh! And little side note... Sig is going to leave the Valkyrie helmet behind... I hope this is an indication that Thor will find it... Hehehe. Sig, get ready, because the thunder is coming to find you!!! Amazing update! I'm already craving more!

Oh Gods will be with them for sure! At least two of them. Actually one of them but I'm rooting for the second one to join in soon So, Astrid hates her apparel just like Thor. Match made in heaven, indeed! Sorry for not commenting on the previous update, you know the reasons. I'll just refer to the previous commenter and say that James - Thor is simply BREATHTAKING! Essential James. But you know it already. Plus the funny situation when my favorite God of Light mistakes the Satyr as the source of the smell and how he expediently fixes his brother's apparel... He is just adorable! You will update soon, right? *Lucky eyes* |

The relationship between Lana and Astrid is interesting. They became really good friends. But I am curious about Lana's dream. What is behind it? Did they meet before? I hope others will accept Astrid without big mess because of her unconventional behavior.
Hm... I hope this is what I think it is. and I hope it will follow Astrid. ![]() Edited by Daughter Of Immortality, January 16, 2013, 8:24 am.
