Do you judge the book by its cover? Or do you flip through the pages and skim the content usually?

Content. If I bought things based on pretty/cool covers, I'd have a lot of stupid teenage love stories and gag.

Well, sometimes the first that catches my eye and draws me in is the cover; but, then I actually flip to the back and read the plot. If the plot is interesting and it's the first book of the series, then I'll probably buy it if I have the money.

I go by a train of logic. The book store I shop at has a lot of books, and they're usually placed spine outwards. As a result, this is how I generally select books.

Title: Does the title sound interesting? If yes, move onto:
Cover Art: Does it depict interesting scenery or people? If yes, move onto:
Blurb: Does it sound interesting? If yes, move onto:
First Chapter: If I like the introduction, I buy it. If not, I don't.
