The Legacy of Mike Howard – Part 2 ON-AIR Mike Howard is currently at a wrestling radio station, where he is being interviewed by Kieran Ferien, the host. KF: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to welcome to our talk show none other than EWF Superstar Mike Howard. Mike, we would first of like to welcome you onto the show. Howard: I don’t need any introduction Kieran. KF: Ok. So first off how has life been for you in the EWF? Howard: If you want my honest opinion Kieran? Very hectic. I don’t think that I’ve had a single match of wrestling in the EWF. First there’s the 6 man battle royale. I mean sure, I won the thing, but its not a singles match. I’m not going to be winning titles in crappy matches like that! And then I faced Andrew “The Lightbulb” Watts. Most people associated with the EWF know that I have still got bad feelings for Watts, who screwed me in my first singles match in the EWF. Everyone knew that I was going to win. So because Nick Shaw was jealous of my amazing talents, he had to come and smack me in the face with his crummy title belt. KF: But didn’t you have some kind of weapon yourself? Shaw was just evening the playing field if I’m honest with you Mike. Howard: Weapon? Me? I stand for sportsmanship and class in the ring. Kieran laughs very quietly, hoping Howard doesn’t hear him. Howard: But yeah, onto my next match, I faced Sebastian “The Whiner” Morton. You see he knew that he didn’t stand a chance against me, so he had to smash me with a chair to win. He rather stupidly forgot that there was a referee, and I won the match. I still have bruises in my head you know! KF: I don’t see any. And you never got hit with a chair, we all saw what happened. Howard: Shut it. I know what happened to me. Now onto this Thursday where I have to face this little punk kid who thinks he some kind of big shot. You see, once I beat this Kamilliwhatever his name is guy, I will be heading to the Legacy Title match. Now, I never exactly want someone like Watts winning matches, but you know what? I want him to beat Deas. Just so I can get my revenge, plus win Mayhem’s biggest title. KF: Well we will see what transpires this Thursday night. Now Mike, the world have seen your in-ring actions, and the way you treat interviewers. Can you please explain to us why you do such things? Howard: Why do I do such things? Like what? KF: Take the EWF interviewer, Anthony Tolly. You’ve given him nothing but grief every time he’s attempted to interview you. Howard: That’s because he is an @$$hole, who knows nothing about respect. All he does is disrespect me during interviews, and I don’t like that one bit. KF: He’s not disrespecting you Mike, you are the disrespectful one here. Howard: You wanna take this off-air punk? CONTINUE with the interview. Ask me your stupid little questions. But if you are trying to say what I do is wrong, then you have a problem with me! KF: Ok, ok. I apologize. Now, have you any last words for Kamillion, heading into your match against him? Howard: Not really Kieran. I don’t want to waste my breath on pathetic wannabes like him. The matter of the fact is simple: I will be the first EWF Legacy Champion. People like KamillioN are just stepping stones on the way to my success. KF: Ok. Now we are ready to take some calls. Howard: Take some calls? This wasn’t part of the deal! KF: Didn’t you read the paperwork? It states that you will be receiving questions off fans. Howard: I don’t read things, I leave that stuff to my girlfriend. Why didn’t she tell me? KF: I don’t know do I? Let’s take it to our first caller. Hello, who’s on the line? The first caller sounds rather rough, with a very deep tone in his voice. Caller 1: Hello. I have a question for Mr. Howard. KF: Yes, go ahead. Howard: Well you the Mr. Howard bit right. Now let’s make this quick. Caller 1: Where did you train to wrestle? Howard: What gives you the right to ask me a question like that? It is none of your damn business! In fact no, I’ll tell you. I never had a trainer. Because I’m a natural. I don’t need some dumb trainer trying to tell me what to do. No one tells Mike Howard what to do. Get the next question already. KF: Mike, be patient, I thought you didn’t want to answer questions. Howard: Whatever. The first caller hangs up, rather upset at Howard’s comments. KF: Right we had better take only one more call, before I get my ass fired for allowing this kind of caller abuse. Right, hi who’s there? Howard: It doesn’t matter who’s there, just ask me the damn question! The second caller had a much higher pitched voice, and sounded very nervous over the phone. Caller 2: Er-ok. Um- what do you want to achieve in life after the EWF? Howard: For once that’s not a bad question. After the EWF, I want to- sorry will be rich and famous. I will be an EWF Hall of famer, and most likely, the greatest wrestler that ever performed. So yeah, that’s the answer to your question, now scram! The second caller doesn’t hesitate, and quickly hangs up. KF: Right that’s all the time we got for today’s show, thanks to Mr. Mike Howard for coming on to speak with us. Howard: Yeah sure, whatever. This ISN’T happening again… END |
