"There are some things that the truth cannot reveal..." That morning, DragonSoldier woke up from his slumber inside of a local hotel room, his eyes a bit bloodshot from a late night of working in order to keep himself busy during the long weeks. There was something in him that didn't seem to be satisfied by last week, whether it was the lack of appreciation for the hard effort he put in or the fact that he was pretty much non-existent in that building that night save the fans that cheered for him. His first impact, didn't seem to be that impressive and he knew he had to admit it to himself, but that truth didn't reveal much to him about why that night went the way it did. He defeated his opponent, but he just couldn't grab a hold of that same momentum he once had in the middle of that ring. For a moment there, it was quite obvious what was going on; to him at least. He felt his muscles long for the hardcore match he had been waiting for, something to truly test him and his ungodly endurance that he had been proud of so many months ago. It was something that had gotten into his mind, and he knew he wasn't going to get rid of it considering that he had served his time in the CWX; he had the biggest match in his entire Championship Wrestling X career to deal with at the same time. It then occurred to him that he could use that for himself, and try to push out an amazing match in Mayhem by using that same energy. He sat up in that bed, moving to the side so his legs could touch the ground as he brought his hands to his face, rubbing his eyes gently to get the dust out of his eyes. He yawned for a moment as he looked around, remembering the events that happened the previous night despite the fact that he had been pretty hammered that night from all of the hard work he put into a single evening. He could feel though, that his muscles were in pretty good shape and ready to fight. He had no one to apply that pressure upon, he had to find some sort of way to release the extra tension or it would continue to build up. DragonSoldier: I guess things could be worse for me right now, there could be a lot of things for me to handle at once instead of a few things to handle over time, which would be a lot worse in some ways and better in others. I guess it's a trade off, I need to find the balance if I want to be in the perfect condition for a great match against a new opponent. I am starting to wonder if I should have even returned here though, since there isn't much of a challenge that I can meet in the ring right now. I had returned hoping to find some sort of unstoppable force not to mention the thought of once again nailing an old opponent to the mat with a single boot to the skull, but right now they have me facing off against some new blood that wants to make a name for himself. At the very least, I will just plow right through him with my Xero Gravity Chaoser and let him sleep for the remained of that night in a hospital bed while I perpare for my main event status off and away from here. This is what I need to do for now, considering that it's quite obvious I will not find a challenge around here until one is presented to me; and in the least, I am going to be able to destroy quite a bit around here. He stood up and out of that bed as he stretched his legs, he could feel a bit of tension already building up inside of them. He cracked his knuckles and swings his arms out, allowing them to move freely about the air as he felt the wind press up against his skin from the window opened across the room. He cracked his neck directly after, wanting to get the juices flowing inside of him as he knew he would be heading down to the gym that day for some strenuous work on the machines and in the training ring. He was absolutely certain this day was going to present very few challenges for him, so he was sure to at least be ready for those. DragonSoldier: There is the chance that this new opponent of mine is going to be able to present some sort of challenge to me instead of just buckling under the weight of the pressure like my opponent last week did. Maybe Fields has a bit more talent towards him than what I have had to deal with so far, because if he has any fight in him he will at least be able to survive longer than ten minutes. Butch Parker may have been considered some sort of legend or something around here, but he was definitely unable to handle the pressure of taking on a UWA Hall of Famer like myself, the man that still holds the UWA Heavyweight Championship around his waist after more than four years. Then again, it wouldn't be smart of the staff to send in everyone they have right away; that would be sending many men to their early deaths here in the EWF, and we don't want that. DragonSoldier: I guess my schedule is just to pump some iron, get rid of some of this pre-fight anxiety, and then meet someone in the middle of that ring for a quick breakdown before I head on out to the coffee shop to relax for a bit. Overall, I am going to have to guess that this day won't bring much of a challenge, but if I am lucky, there will be something to get into my way. I would so enjoy someone to just stand up to me and try to make my life a living hell, but then again, I would enjoy that too much. A man can dream though, can't he? He walked over to the window as he began to look out, there was something so surreal about the landscape below him as the hotel seemed to be located around what appeared to be a protected forest area; the trees were untouched by civilization and were easy on the eyes. There were flowers and other beauties of nature's bounty located all over the floor of that area, and there was even a clearing for people to just sit around in and relax. DragonSoldier turned away from that window as he began to head out of that room, hoping to find something to do on this long and boring day... |
