::"Throw It On Me" by Timbaland blares over the PA system as Alexander Stryfe, the new GM of Revolution, storms down to the ring, mike in hand. He doesn't look happy at all as he climbs into the ring and gives the cue to cut his music:: My name is Alexander Stryfe, and I'm here to clean up a mess. I hate mistakes, but they happen. The referee in the Ironman match at DOA made a mistake and counted out Abe Stryker when there are no countouts in that match. After speaking personally with him, it seems nerves got the better of him and he made a bad call. He was just swept up in the excitement of the first EWF PPV. Either way, the decision was a bad call. However in the EWF, the referee's decision stands. I can't change that, but that sure as hell doesn't mean I can't fix it. If we act as though that fall never happened, we are left with a tie of 3-3 in that match. And that will NOT do. ::he paces back and forth in the ring as he speaks, still obviously annoyed at the mistake:: Now both of the men involved are already booked this coming week, so we can't do anything immediately. But I promise you I will make a major announcement regarding this at Revolution where we will get some resolution to this mess. As of right now, Mr. Desai and Mr. Stryker, you have my word as the GM of this show, this will be resolved. ::Stryfe takes a deep breath, calming down and continuing:: As for this week's card, there are a couple things I want to mention. First up is the rematch from Dead or Alive. Wonderboy and Big Jim, I want a winner in this match! You two getting counted out at the PPV did not sit well with me. I'm running the show now, and I hate leaving loose ends. If I don't get a clear and decisive winner at Revolution, both of you will wind up on Stryfe's Sh*t List! And that is somewhere you don't want to be. At DOA, we got new tag champions in the 1 Shot Hitmen. Gentlemen, do not think since you are not booked this week, that means I am giving you a vacation. Hardly! You better get training, because at the Revolution after this, I can guarantee you that your tag titles will be on the line. I promised everyone when I came here, I would shake things up on Revolution. And everyone in the back and out here is going to see that first hand. And if you don't believe it, just watch! ::he drops the mike and storms back up the entrance ramp:: |
