Once more with all Katherine rps' the first part is a flashback part. while once Katherine starts talking is the here and now. please enjoy... Katherine= blue color Painful Memories: The battle was destined to be today…Jason Zimmerman just knew it. He was only seconds away from acquiring the only son of Alexander Belmont from the Blackpool Estate of his brother. Liam was in the care of his Aunt Beth, along with his sister Katherine…as well as his cousins, Faith and Destiny, Christopher’s children. For the months since his “death” at the hands of Christopher and Jeremiah, Jason thought of nothing but revenge…and the Grandmaster had given him the perfect opportunity. He moved farther down the hall of Christopher Xavier’s house, the sounds of a small child’s laughter filled the corridor. It had to be the Vampire king’s son. It just had to be; but Jason had to wonder…how on Earth Alex would be stupid enough to have a human female protecting his heir and daughter. Oh well…it didn’t matter now. In mere seconds, the child would be in his possession…and only a little longer after that, the child would be handed over to the Grandmaster. Only a few more steps…He pulled the gun from the holster at the small of his back and waited at the doorway to the master bedroom. Now was his moment. Jason jumped from behind the wall and pointed the barrel of the gun directly at Beth’s chest. “Hello, my dear…so good to see your pretty little face again…” He sneered as he spoke; the blonde wife of Christian went pale…as if she’d seen a ghost. Jason Zimmerman…formerly Jason Belmont was supposed to be dead. Alexander sentenced him to death…for failing the family one too many times. The last time he failed…it nearly cost the Belmont family the life of their queen. A shiver ran up her spine, the children and herself were in grave danger…Tabatha and McGuire were gone, left for the market an hour ago. “What are you doing here? Jason could only smile wickedly as the wife of Christopher Xavier Belmont back away, his quarry cradled carefully in her arms. She wanted as much space between them as possible. The former Belmont’s size rivaled that of her husband; most definitely a force to be reckoned with. “I think it would be obvious at this point, Muffin…I’m here for the brat. Now give him to me…or I’ll put a bullet in these brats one by one.” Bethany cringed at Jason’s use of her husband’s pet name for her and he pointed the gun toward her own children, Faith and Destiny. The blonde growled at him as she handed Liam to his older sister and told them to run and hide. As they ran, Beth launched herself at Jason before he could react as the children ran to the safest place they could think of…their parents’ room. After all, when you had a nightmare when you were young, where did you run for safety? Your parents’ room. The former Belmont snarled in anger as the children ran and tried to follow, only to be shoulder-checked by the wife of the fallen angel. The blonde was a former wrestler, and she knew a thing or two about putting big men down. Jason shook his head to clear the cobwebs and backhanded…or at least tried to backhand her. He missed by a mile, and she dropped, flooring him again with a Russian legsweep. To say the least, Jason Zimmerman was not happy. He tightened his grip on the gun and raised it, aligning the barrel with her chest. The monster fired, but hit her in the soft flesh of her belly. Beth gasped deeply, and fell against the wall, hot tears running down her cheeks. “Chris…” She whimpered, holding the bleeding wound as Jason got to his feet and smirked. “He’s not going to make it here in time to save you, you little bitch. But I have to thank you for making this little mission so much more fulfilling.” He laughed heartily and walked up the stairs after the children…it took him only a minute to find them. Katherine huddled against a wall, her baby brother sobbing loudly in her arms. In front of her stood Faith and Destiny, each child wielding a full-sized, yet lightweight sword, gifts from their father the Christmas prior. Christian had wanted to make sure that his children knew how to defend themselves. He raised the gun again, shooting the wall next to Faith making her jump slightly in terror. “Go away!” She yelled at him, bringing as much confidence to her voice as she could muster. The little girl leapt forward, swinging her rapier widely and caught him on the upper thigh. It was only a flesh wound, but enough to make him bleed. Jason was suddenly tired of Belmont women making him bleed. He raised the gun again and fired twice. Christopher’s daughter his target…she took them both in the chest and fell like a sack of bricks. He’d killed her…a small child. Some part of him felt regret, but it was quickly pushed to the back of his mind as a noise from behind him turn around. The children crying, but stood still…afraid to move as blood pooled around Faith. A few men appeared in the doorway, led by Matthew Davis…the grandmaster’s pet Ulfric. The werewolf king pointed his men to the other children and they quickly grabbed Destiny, Katherine, and handed Liam to the Ulfric. Jason snarled at the other man. “What the hell are you doing here?” Matthew could only smile. “The Grandmaster sent me, just in case you couldn’t get the job done. So stop bitching and let’s get out of here before the female vampire and her brothers come back.” Jason snorted and grabbed Liam from the Ulfric, as he walked towards the door, picking up the fallen Faith’s rapier as well. It would make for a fitting weapon to kill Christopher Xavier Belmont. Not too mention, taking the other children would make fitting cannon fodder for the Grandmaster to play with… XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Fifteen minutes later… McGuire pulled the car into the driveway of the Belmont’s Blackpool estate…and beside her; Tabatha immediately knew that something was wrong. The front door of the house was wide open…too many lights in the house were on…something was indeed wrong. As soon as the love of Jeremiah put the car into park, Tabby jumped out of the car and ran towards the house. McGuire’s eyes went wide and she followed, yelling after the female vampire. “What’s wrong?!” By the time Tabatha heard her, she was at the door, look over to Beth. The wounded blonde was crying profusely as she held a towel against her belly. Blood was everywhere. The sister of Jeremiah turned to McGuire and rasped. “Call the boys and Jada…tell them to get here…NOW!” XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX “That was over twenty years ago… but the memories of that day still continued to haunt me. To watch as that sick F*ck killed one of my cousins… shot her in cold blood…I…I froze in place and couldn’t stop it. Couldn’t stop him from pulling the trigger; couldn’t stop Mathew from taking Liam and I away. I was only six years old! Damn it…. But I can’t dwell on the past anymore… Zimmerman was killed, Davis became a victim of a sin city train wreck, and Augustus was dusted. My worries were over; yet it scarred Liam for life, it was those moments that turned him into the man he is today. I feel I am to blame for that but I can’t keep thinking about it… I can’t do it anymore; he won’t listen to me… he won’t hear me out when I say that our mother still loves him… it hurts soo much. But got to keep matters of the heart at bay for now. Got my second match to think about; got to think about getting revenge for that Darla woman costing me my debut contest. I was warned about women like her though; that they can be so vindictive; even so far as to call me a jobber. What ever that means; can’t let her get to me. Can’t let the anger consume me, just got to do my best. That is all that matters doing my absolute best and if that means I win, well good for me. If I lose? It happens I guess. I can always try again and again until my hand is finally raised in victory; Aunt Tabatha told me a story how it took her ten matches before she finally became a womens champion. So I don’t feel so bad about losing my first match. Soon the victories will come I just know it. Then I will make my father proud of me; and I will finally get that shining moment where I proved myself to all the doubters. I might be the only human in my family but that doesn’t mean I can’t emerge a champion just like all the rest of them. I can do this… I can win… just got to stay focused on the task at hand; don’t worry about whether you can get along with your partner. Just worry about pinning either Darla or Kylie… that’s all you have to do. Spike one of their heads with Salvation and get that elusive pin fall victory. I can do this… I hope…” |
