Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The End.

1969. Thomas LeatherFace Hewitt. Notorious murderer from Texas, raised by Luda Mae Hewitt, his mother died, in a gruesome childbirth blood poured all over the wooden floor of the slaughterhouse. He was abandoned in a dumpster; The Hewitts raise LeatherFace as their own. But in a lot of ways, Thomas Hewitt is more like a pet than a member of the family. At the same time, they do love and admire one another, albeit in peculiar and unusual ways. LeatherFace in this continuity suffers from a facial disfigurement and skin disease that ate away most of his nose. Due to this disfigurement, Hewitt was horribly treated by his peers as a child. He wore a small leather mask to cover up this deformity, and worked at the same meat factory his birth mother did. After health inspectors closed the factory down, Hewitt was ordered to leave. When Hewitt didn't, his boss bullied him by calling him a 'retard' and a 'dumb animal'. Hewitt killed his boss with a sledgehammer, and later discovered a chainsaw in the factory for later use. When Winston Hoyt, the local sheriff, tried apprehending him, Thomas's uncle Charlie came to his aid by killing the sheriff and later assuming his identity.

Zack Riley: Listen Kelly, we’ll be okay, a few more hours and we’re back in New York.

Kelly Massimo: I know, I just don’t like the idea of being on the open Texas road, you heard the news.

He did, you didn’t. Almost 40 years after the infamous Texas Chainsaw massacre, a report had been released, eight people, slaughtered, chainsaw, sledgehammer, merciless. Was this LeatherFace? That was the presumption; he was back, back for more, more blood, more gore, more murder and more earth raised hell. Hardesty slaughterhouse still a notorious scene. Nobody dares go near. Zack and his friends, Ryan, John and Kelly driving back to New York from a recent trip to L.A. life was about to become hellish. Very, very Hellish.

The 60s Cadillac passed down through Kelly’s family had a turquoise glow, the old school drove down the open road, the sun beaming inside the windows. The red lights at the rear of the car showed no signs of glowing, full speed ahead. With the band Rise against playing through the humid air. Unusually there where thunder clouds above them. Nothing to be scared of though. John’s long dark hair covering Kelly’s face as the wind blew back into the car. They’d been in a relationship for over a year. Everyone knew Ryan was jealous. Ryan and Zack sat in the front as they nodded their head to the song. The clouds soon passed and the sun soon blazed on the skin of the four youngsters.

Ryan Smith: Guys, can we stop sometime soon, I’m burning up here, I don’t wanna get skin cancer, and you know the risks!

John Le Blanc: C’mon Ryan, don’t be a p***y it’s only a few more hours.

Zack Riley: No he’s right, we’re nearly out of fuel anyway, and we’ll stop when we can, where ever the hell that’ll be I don’t know.

John was half French, his mother originally came from France but she moved here as a teenager to get away from her father’s debts, he was murdered while she watched, a nine millimeter bullet put through his skull. Ryan was all-American, he played football in several different states, but his parents moved round a lot, once Ryan hit twenty, he left and found his old friends Zack, Kelly and John. But there were many ways to describe Kelly, she had short blonde hair, and was always the girl next door, even if she lived a whole block away. Zack turned down the first off road he could see; it took them to a small village, nameless but nevertheless was still a village. The gas station was in the center of the town. He pulled up to the station, and all of them got out of the car. Zack and Ryan stood by the pumps as John and Kelly went inside.

Ryan Smith: Do you think she’ll ever realize

Zack Riley: To be honest Ryan, unless you tell her, she’ll never know, you gotta tell her because John can be a major ass hole sometimes, he’ll make his mistake, you gotta be like the shark, take advantage of the wound and be there when she needs her spirits lifting.

Ryan Smith: Do you think that’ll work

Zack Riley: Definitely, why wouldn’t it?

Ryan Smith: good point, how long before we get there? I’m getting pretty anxious; I heard you and Kelly talking before anyway. What did happen out here?

Zack Riley: It should be a good three or four hours, and you don’t want to know

Ryan Smith: Try me Zack.

Zack Riley: Ever heard of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

Ryan Smith: I thought that was just a story used to scare kids, its not real is it?

Zack Riley: I thought that, but they found four bodies by the same road we’re about to go down, with chainsaw marks engraved in their skulls.

Ryan Smith: Shit, Zack is there any other way?

Zack Riley: No, but its bullshit Ryan, we’ll be fine.

Back inside the actual station, John and Kelly walked around the dusty place; it looked like it hadn’t been used in years. They stayed quiet, the beige walls and dusty surfaces looked like only ancient Egyptians had used them. The bottles of spirits on the shelves behind them, John grabbed two bottles, an elderly woman, shouted at them, it looked like she’d been perched there for years.

Luda Mae Hewitt: I hope your going to pay for that young man. You know, I’ve been on this planet for over one hundred and seven years, over that time I’ve seen pain, suffering, torture. But none hurt more than a simple paper-cut. By taking that bottle, You take away my dignity, I’ve sat in this chair more than twelve years, living from food my husband and my son have provided for me. And never has anything been taken from this place without being paid for. Now you can pay for the alcohol or walk into a life full of paper cuts for you and your friend.

John laughed cockily and took the bottle outside, she cursed him under her breathe her glasses dusty from the lack of activity. John walked outside with Kelly, who felt slightly guilty for John’s actions.

Zack Riley: Did you pay for it?

John Le Blanc: There was nobody inside, just a crazy old lady.

Kelly Massimo: You should have treated her with some respect John, just for some booze.

John Le Blanc: Lighten up Kelly, what’s she gonna do? Run outside with a chainsaw?

There was an awkward moment, Kelly, Ryan and Zack looked at each other, John broke the silence and opened his door.

John Le Blanc: Relax, I’m just kidding. Let’s get going, this place freaks me out.

They all got into the Cadillac, Zack put the key in the ignition, he turned again the familiar smell of petrol in the air, and they drove away back into the wasteland of Texas. The blue bottle of alcohol raised in the air as a new CD was inserted into the stereo, they brought a separate system, obviously a 60s Cadillac wouldn’t have a CD player. The first song of The Used’s Album begins to play it was ‘I caught Fire’ There is a steady beat as the drive through the subtle breeze of Texas, Kelly and Zack begin to sing the chorus

“And I'm melting
in your eyes
like my first time
that I caught fire
Just stay with me
lay with me
now”

At the end of the chorus, two separate ‘bangs!’ the car suddenly slowed, as Zack, Kelly, Ryan and John wondered what had happened, the car stopped. The stepped out, all four tires exploded, a couple of hundred meters back was a spike grid.

Zack Riley: No way, No f**k**g way…

Kelly Massimo: Unbelievable

Ryan looked around him and coughed his eyes close to bloodshot.

Ryan Smith: Do you smell that?

John Le Blanc: Knockout gas?

John fell sideways, as Zack, Kelly and Ryan tried to get away into the forest beside them, their jog turned slowly into a crawl, Kelly got furthest away and fell inside a muddy ditch, Zack and Ryan lying unconscious in the marsh. A large truck came along the road, an elderly man and a giant creature got out. They stood above John and spat on him

Charlie Hewitt: C’mon Tommy, lets load ‘em in the here truck.

The monstrous man picked up John and launched him into the back of an old cargo truck, covered in excrement. Soon after were Ryan and Zack also. Kelly began to regain consciousness at nightfall. She sat up as she looked around she saw the Cadillac with an arrow, pointing right, towards the long road. She had to follow.
Back at the Hewitt household, Le Bland sat in a pit. With Charlie stood above it.

John Le Blanc: What the f**k do you want with me?

Charlie Hewitt: Shut the hell up you scrawny bastard. Where’s your girlfriend?

John Le Blanc: I don’t know what you’re talking about

Charlie Hewitt: You know exactly who I’m talking about hotshot, and everytime you deny it, your gonna get a little treat.

John Le Blanc: I swear I have no clue

Charlie grabbed a razor sharp knife from the table next to him, he threw it at John who ducked, and it missed narrowly. He then threw an iron bar at John which hit him in the face

Charlie Hewitt: Tell me monkey boy! I’m sure you don’t want me to get to my gun here.

John Le Blanc: f**k you!

He continues to throw objects into the pit before laughing insanely, he then walks away leaving John cut and bruised. Meanwhile in the barns, the empty, stinking barns Zack is hanging by his arms by rope. A few meters from him Ryan bleeding heavily from the nose. He groans in pain, and sits up. Not able to open his eyes fully he groans, Zack shouts to him.

Zack Riley: Ryan don’t move your hands or feet, don’t Ryan!

Ryan Smith: Why?

Zack Riley: I know you can’t see, you’ve gotta trust me though Ryan don’t move

Ryan Smith: Fucking tell me Zack!

Zack Riley: You’ve got traps round them, one move and your hands and feet will be snapped in half.

The rusted metal of the traps hung above the hands and feet of Ryan who was petrified, choking on the blood that he could wipe from his mouth. He spat out the blood just as Charlie walked over holding a baseball bat.

Zack Riley: What the f**k do you want with us?

Charlie gave no answer, he just smiled, and tapped Ryan on the shoulder with the baseball bat.

Charlie Hewitt: Listen punk, I’m a fair man, and I hold my word. If you can answer
three easy questions without your friend here helping you, I’ll unlock these traps and you’re free to go, understand?

Ryan spluttered more blood out from his split lip without a reply

Charlie Hewitt: I said Do you understand boy?

Ryan Smith: Yes sir.

Charlie Hewitt: Good. Heres your first question. What’s your name?

Ryan Smith: Ryan-

He smashes the baseball bat into his neck, Ryan screamed as he couldn’t move his arms or legs to absorb any of the pain.

Ryan Smith: Ryan Smith sir.

Charlie Hewitt: Now we’re getting somewhere. What’s your friends name here?

Ryan Smith: Zack-

Again Charlie swung the baseball bat into the spine of Smith, he screamed, blood
began to part from his face, being washed by the tears rolling down.

Ryan Smith: Zack Riley sir.

Charlie Hewitt: Good, last question kid. Where are you headed

Ryan Smith: New-

A third time the baseball bat crunching across the backbone, his face completely covered in crimson. He made no sound after words the baseball bat violently caressed his back for a fourth and final shot. Ryan screamed;

Ryan Smith: New York City.

Charlie smiled. And spat on the back of his head.

Charlie Hewitt: Now that wasn’t so hard now was it? Okay you’re free to go boy

He squats down and unlocks each trap. Ryan still crying, he throws all four traps into the grass behind them and stands up.

Charlie Hewitt: But I don’t think you’ll be going anywhere with a shattered spine, do you?

Zack Riley: You bastard! I’m gonna f**k**g kill you, you son of a bitch

Charlie walked over with the bat and began choking Zack with it, he released and swung wildly into the ribs of Zack.

Charlie Hewitt: You leave my momma outta this ya hear me?

Zack had tears rolling down his cheeks as his shirt is torn and arms almost coming
out of their sockets. Charlie walked away leaving Zack dangling by the rope. He walked inside the house and shouted

Charlie Hewitt: Tommy, I got some work for you in the pit. And Luda, I got some fresh meat for supper.

The old woman, moved from the gas station into the house grinned sadistically. Little did they know, outside was Kelly. She hid inside the trees, watching Zack and Ryan. She slowly crept out to the barn and tapped Zack on the shoulder.

Kelly Massimo: Oh my god, what the hell happened.

Zack Riley: They’re monsters, Kelly, take the truck with Ryan, you have to get out of here. They’ll kill us all, we’ve got no other choice, and I’m willing to give myself for you two to get out of here.

Kelly Massimo: What about John?

Zack Riley: I haven’t seen him since we got here, but the bastard shattered Ryan’s spine, in fact. Take the truck and find help. There’s still a chance you can save us.

She nodded, and ran towards the truck, struggling and hassling to unlock it, the pulled the door handle until its creaked, finally the door swung open. By then, it was too late. She jumped inside, and started the car, the key already in the ignition. She put it into gear and it started to go. But the door re-opened, she tried to close it, but a huge man dragged her out. And stabbed her through the shoulder with a meat hook.

Charlie Hewitt: Good Job Tommy, I knew there was one more. Take her down to the other one. She can watch him.

By her short hair, LeatherFace dragged her to a bunker type place. The smell was putrid, rotting corpses left and right, only the smallest amount of sunlight beaming through the window. He was still in the pit but only just; John had managed to drag himself to the very top though. Clutching onto the edge Tommy grabbed his hand and pulled him up.

John Le Blanc: Thank god-

His words were cut off, it wasn’t help. It was hell. He hooked Kelly onto a pipe above, dangling by the shoulder as she watched; he strapped John down to a table. Through the mask he smiled viciously. He turned to a silver table which had what you could call weapons of choice. He held a sander in his hands, and grazed it down the face of John, he screamed in horror, he then, moved down to the stomach and the flesh grinded with the spinning metal. Splats of blood flew up into their faces Kelly cried and cried, Tommy stopped. The mumbled scream of Thomas was recognizable as he looked into the eyes of Kelly.

Thomas Hewitt: Shut up slut!

Kelly Massimo: f**k you, you’re an animal, you make me sick!

He picked up a set of pliers as she screamed for mercy, he clenched her tongue as
her eye liner began to run, he pulled out her tongue as she screamed, well she attempted to scream. He picked up the sander again and drove it into his face, his nose ate away followed by his cheeks and lips, Tommy looked at it happily, laughing as he did so. He picked up a machete and hacked away at his lifeless body. John was dead. Kelly was next. Tommy turned round and smiled; he stomped towards Kelly then licked the side of her face. He slammed the machete into the side of her; it stayed in as he choked her. He picked up a cheese grater and hacked into her eyes. He let go. She hung, motionless. Far from life. Suddenly from above inside the house there was an elderly call.

Charlie Hewitt: Tommy, get your ass up here, your supper’s ready.

He grunted as Kelly cried the blood and hung. He thundered up the wooden steps, close to breaking. He walked through a small corridor and into the kitchen. Charlie, Luda Mae and Tommy sat around the table.

Charlie Hewitt: You weren’t supposed to kill the girl Tommy; we could have used that slut to get to them bastards.

Luda Mae: Charlie, why do we have to do this? They did nothing, the punk that stole the drink has been dealt with, the rest have done nothing

Charlie Hewitt: We need to eat at some point Luda, I won’t tell you again, they’re not going anywhere, they’ll tell people.

Luda Mae: People already know! It’s a legend; once they found the roadside corpses everybody knew it was no longer a fairy tale

Charlie Hewitt: Then we need to make sure that they don’t go anywhere don’t we Luda? Tommy?

The huge monstrous beast nodded and looked outside, Zack still hanging, his arms aching unbelievably, Ryan still sat, spine shattered, Charlie walked outside holding a blade, he walked past Ryan and straight towards Zack, he cut away at the thick rope before Zack fell flat on his face. Behind him, Ryan had picked up a line of barbed wire; he leapt to his feet and scraped it across his face. Charlie screamed the tone constant as he cried. Ryan uttered the words as Zack tried to make shape of the words. Charlie’s face bleeding horribly.

Ryan Smith: Run!

Zack heard this time and got to his feet, in the porch of the house stood the monster. Holding the infamous chainsaw. The buzzing continued. Zack stood still, hoping he’d miss him. He was too damn wrong; Tommy screamed and revved the chainsaw. Zack’s pupils widened. He panted, Ryan crawled to his feet, Zack helped him up, Luda may stood next to Tommy, as ‘LeatherFace’ was about to run, she put her hand on his shoulder.

Luda Mae Hewitt: No, Tommy enough is enough, they’ve done nothing to us. Let them go.

Zack looked on, as the sun began to set behind their house. Zack raised his arm over his eyes to block the sun, he turned, basically carrying the bloodied and broken ryan.

Zack Riley: You’re gonna be okay man, just hang in there.

Through the surrounding forest they slowly walked, the birds around them created an illusive mask around their heads, they just kept going, eventually to the open road, but as expected in the middle of nowhere, not a single car in sight, possibly in a hundred mile radius. Would they be left to rot in the desert? Left for the maggots to make a nest inside their skull? They sat at the roadside, Zack lay Ryan down and leaned over him.

Zack Riley: Listen, Ryan stay with me will have help soon I promise

Ryan Smith: Leave me.

Zack Riley: No f**k**g way, I’m not leaving you out here, we’re staying together

Ryan Smith: Have you ever heard the expression, live together, die alone?

Zack Riley: yes, you’re not dying today Ryan I swear.

Zack sat next to him holding his own arm, from his whole body pulling down before hand. Non the less, all was not well back at the house. Charlie, bloodied face and all stood up and looked at Luda Mae;

Charlie Hewitt: Where are they? Did you see to them?

Luda Mae Hewitt: We saw to them alright, they’re going home now, where they belong.

Charlie Hewitt: What? They’ll tell every single f**k**g person on the god damn earth, Jesus Christ, you’re not a Hewitt, just another b***h who has more heart than brains

Luda Mae Hewitt: I’m not the one losing pints of blood Charlie am I? Besides, we can’t keep going like this, we can move, lets leave this cursed place, start a new life

Charlie Hewitt: We can’t leave, we can’t start again. Tommy, get rid of her.

Luda Mae Hewitt: He can’t do it, I’m his mother, I raised him, I fed him, I gave him a home

Charlie Hewitt: God damn it Tommy kill her!

Tommy Hewitt: N…n…no.

Charlie Hewitt: Are you disobeying me?

Tommy stomped forward with his truck like feet; he stood next to Charlie and began the end of his pain and torture. Tommy dropped the saw and kneeled next to Charlie. He took off his mask, his long black hair draped over Charlie’s face.

Charlie Hewitt: Help me son…

LeatherFace didn’t know what to do, his monstrous ways never changed, Luda walked behind him and patted him on the shoulder.

Luda Mae Hewitt: It’s over Charlie…

Charlie Hewitt: Your damn right!

He let out an insane laugh, Tommy picked up the chainsaw, pulled the tag and on it came, with a swift stroke slicing the old woman in two. Still laughing as she flopped to the floor Tommy turned with widened eyes, and launched his huge foot into Charlie’s face, the crack sealed it, the crunch ended it. Charlie was dead, his face and skull imploded. Tommy looked into the forest, and looked down at his mask, he threw the mask over his face and tied the string behind it.

Ryan Smith: Do you think they’re just screwing us about?

Zack Riley: they did a little bit more than screw us Ryan, god knows what happened to Kelly and John.

Ryan Smith: No, I mean do you think they just gave us a head start, like a trap.

Zack Riley: I’d expect so, they’re a bunch of inbred freaks, with nothing better to do.

From the distance, came a buzzing, Zack looked into the road, squinting as far as his eyes would see.

Ryan Smith: Is it a car?

As the noise came close it dawned on Zack what exactly it was.

Zack Riley: That’s not a car Ryan… that’s a freaking chainsaw.

Out of the trees stomped Thomas, he screamed random words, he panted and stared straight at Ryan, he held the chainsaw in front of his face, Tommy marched towards Ryan, Zack couldn’t just watch it, he charged at the final Hewitt and narrowly missed being decapitated, he shoulder tackled LeatherFace, thanks to his high-school football years he perfected the tackle as Tommy flew back, onto his back, he almost got up immediately after. Chainsawless, but also at a level playing field. He again walked towards Ryan, Zack tried punching him, to no avail. He seemed completely unharmed; Tommy pushed Zack backwards onto his neck. He began to scream

Tommy Hewitt: WHY?

Ryan Smith: Why what?

Tommy Hewitt: Why was I born like this?

Ryan Smith: Like what?

Hewitt rips off his mask and his mangled face shocked Ryan

Tommy Hewitt: Like this!

He touches his own face, feeling for human features, he couldn’t understand why
his face was so mutated, so strange, so twisted, in pure shock Ryan couldn’t say anything. He roared and his gigantic feet took striding steps towards him he reaches down, picks up Ryan by his collar and grins sadistically, Ryan screams from the pain in his back, but suddenly a huge rock smashes the giant on the back of his head he falls to the ground, releasing Ryan. Zack stands panting, standing over the lifeless corpse of LeatherFace and the barely lifeless corpse of Ryan.

Zack Riley: I hit him with a rock. Ya feal me?

Ryan Smith: didn’t some famous dude say that?

Zack Riley: I don’t think so no.

At that exact moment, a huge red truck pulled up beside them, the driver pushed open the door, his ginger beard bristled in the slow but refreshing breeze. Zack pulled Ryan to his feet, they loaded him into the second seat next to the driver. Then Zack jumped in himself, LeatherFace still lying face down in the thistles.

Driver: What the hell are you boys doing?

Zack Riley: Just drive!

Driver: Yes sir, this place is weird

Zack looked down on an exhausted Ryan.

Ryan Smith: Is it over Zack?

Zack Riley: Yeah, it’s over.

The driver smiled and handed Zack a beer as Ryan fell asleep on the driver’s shoulder.

Driver: It looks like you’ve had a hard day kid?

Zack Riley: You could say that, to put it lightly.
