![]() ~The cameras open to the outside of the locker room door of Alyx Shadows. The door opens slowly as Alyx is seen meditating in some basic workout gear; black track pants, an Avenged Sevenfold T-Shirt and some basic Nike shoes. The cameras get closer and closer but stop as Alyx begins to speak~ Everywhere I turn there's another person with an ego in this business. Everyone always says that they have the superior style or skill to someone. Of corse, there's always the balance to that check. There's always someone out there who wants the big win more than anything. Not just beacuse wins get you noticed around here, but because it puts a dent in people's egos when they have egos the size of C.J. Barnetts'. And he doesn't even need to say a word. I've seen him around these parts. So I'm a side show circus freak huh? You judge me now based on my appearance? Sad, sad little boy. If there's one thing in this business that I've learned, besides keeping the fans on your good side, it's to NEVER show your opponent your achillie's heel. Too bad you don't even have to speak it to show it CJ. ~Shadows adjusts his position before continuing~ You see, there's a fine line between confidence and complete arrogance. If there's one thing I don't do, it's underestamate my opponent. I know it's going to be a hell of a match out there. But just because I look like I belong at a permanent cage in Hot Topic doesn't mean I can't wrestle. I can take to the sky if it means taking you down. I can throw my fists if it means knocking you out. I can sure as hell make your arm swell with pain if it means making you tap. I know soooooooo many different ways to get that final result. People don't want to see the same thing over and over again. They don't want to see the same suplex over and over again week after week. They don't want to see the same sleeper hold night after night. The people want nothing but non stop action. They want to see someone fly through the air, get hit dead in the face with a stiff right hand, take to the sky again, lock on a submission hold, and then throw on some suplexes. If all you do week in and week out is throw your technical mumbo jumbo around that ring, the fans are gonna use your match to take a piss break. And for someone who's supposedly "all about the fans" you should be able to figure that out. But then again, things happen for a reason. Maybe it'll take a beating or two from yours truly before you realize that the fans don't want the same crap week in and week out. They want variety. They want different planchas one week followed by different punches and kicks the next. And guess what? EWF finally has that. EWF finally has that variety, that one thing that alot of people lack in most of their wreslters. They've got someone who can deliver impact. That's as black and white as it gets. But if you can't see that...... ~Shadows takes a sip from a nearby water bottle~ Well, maybe the freaks will the finally have their shot at the big time after all. ~Shadows gets up and gathers his things from his locker. As he exits, the cameras fade~ |
