OOC: Please take a note of the on camera/off camera notes... [At the hospital… Again] [Off camera] At Revolution, brutal battle was fought against Aurora DeViant, but when it came down to it, Aurora got the best of him, landing a bulldog and his head at full force onto the steel steps. Straight after the match he was taken to the medics room in the back. Nick Shaw is seen, lying on an examination bed, he’s still in his ring gear, he’s not moving, but peaceful. A doctor then comes into the room and looks down on him, he then taps him. Doctor: Mr. Shaw, can you hear me? Nick begins stirring and the doctor then looks at him. Doctor: Nurse, could you come clean his face up, please? A nurse, who is rather attractive comes in with a trolley as Nick is coming to, he can be heard, but has still not sat up. Shaw: Wh-What happened? Doctor: You were knocked out during the end of the match, you hit your head quite badly and what looks like re-opened a wound on your head. Shaw: Damn, so I didn’t win? Doctor: I’m guessing no, as you’ve been out for about almost a half hour. He sit’s up, and runs his fingers through his hair and goes to stand up. Doctor: Please, no sudden movements, you’ve taken a nasty bump and also this nurse will be cleaning you up in just a minute. Shaw: *Lets out a sigh* I’m guessing I’ve been bust open again this week then? Doctor: ‘Fraid so. Shaw: Ah well, all in a day’s work. The nurse slips on two gloves and then begins prepping a small plastic tray with a clear fluid. Nurse: This is just some saline to clean up the cut and keep it a bit more sterile. Shaw: Yeah, I’ve been through all of this before. Nurse: Oh right, sorry. Shaw: It’s not your fault, sweetheart, you’re just following the routing procedure, after all. A slight smile comes across her face as she begins swabbing his face, slowly cleaning all of the dry blood off. Shaw: I didn’t expect to be up in here tonight. Nurse: Well after what happened I’m not surprised to be honest. This might stink a bit, I’m going to clean out the wound. He gives off a slight wince of pain but then all is done, and the red stained piece of gauze is dropped into a silver tray. Nurse: All done, best get some butterfly stitches on that I think. The goes onto the shelf down on the trolley, leaning over, and revealing her impressive chest cleavage. Nick stares at them, right there in front of him. The nurse then stands back up and at the last second Nick turns away, as if he were never staring at her. She smiles at Nick, but in a way as if to say ‘I know what you were going’. He quickly changes the topic that was being silently covered. Shaw: Err, so. Will I need to take any medication for this? Nurse: No it’s fine, it just needed some cleaning. Hold still so I can put these on. She peels a few butterfly stitches off the paper and gently holds the cut together and then places one strip over, and then another two. Nurse: Okay, all done. Shaw: Thanks very much, anything else? Nurse: Not that I know of, but if you have any problems you uhh, can ring me on this. She takes a sticky note from the work top of the medic’s room. She jots down a number on the paper and then goes to hand it to Nick. Shaw: I’m sorry, but what is your name, I don’t think I ever heard? Nurse: It’s Veronica. A smile comes across her face as she hands him the note. Shaw: Y’know maybe I will need this attending to, why don’t you come back to the locker room and you can have a closer look. She laughs slightly at his charm. Veronica: I can’t sorry, I’m on call, so I’m quite busy. Shaw: You sure now? She nudges him in the arm in a friendly manner. Veronica: Hit the showers, but tell you what, I get off at the end of the show, call me. Nick gets off of the bed, and then walks past the nurse, giving a smile, and keeping eye contact. Shaw: I’ll see you later, then. He then opens the door and she closes the door behind him. [The first date, or is it?] [Off camera] After returning to his locker room, cleaning himself up, and finding his cell phone. Nick rang the nurse that he was treated by earlier. They met up in the car park and went to a local bar, for a few light beverages. Nick and Veronica are sitting at the bar, he has a glass of cider and Veronica has a glass of wine. Shaw: So, Veronica, how long have you been in nursing for? Veronica: Well, I’m not a full timer, I’m not even fully qualified. I’m a med student, so at the moment I’m interning for your medic in the EWF. What about you, then? How long have you been wrestling? Shaw: Well, I’ve been wrestling for about three years. I’ve been in a few independent places, then found EWF, and I’ve been there ever since. Veronica: Noticed when I was watching it on the TV earlier, the boss guy doesn’t seem to be too friendly, or the people that came to the ring with him. Nick gives out a slight chuckle and then smirks. Shaw: No… Mr. Stryfe isn’t much of a friend of mine. Veronica: Why’s that, then? Shaw: Well, I don’t really want to go into this, but he didn’t like it when I got what I wanted, by going above him, and now he’s ticked off because of me beating him in a match he was booked into with the owner who was his partner, and me and another guy, who’s gone now though, beat them, and messed them up. Veronica: Oh right… She stays silent as she can’t think of anything else to say on the situation. Shaw: Anyway, enough of that, want another drink? Veronica: Oh, please let me pay this time. Shaw: No no, put your money away, a beautiful woman like yourself should be treated every once in a while. Same again? Veronica: Why, thank you very much, and yes please. Nick catches the bartenders attention. Shaw: Excuse me, another cider and a wine for the lady please. Bartender: Right away. The bartender opens up the bottle of cider and pours it into a glass with ice, and then pours a glass of wine. Bartender: Seven dollars, please. Shaw: Thanks, keep the change. Nick hands him a ten dollar bill. Bartender: Thanks. Nick: So, what made you want to go into nursing then? Veronica: Well to be honest with you, I’ve wanted to be a personal assistant, I’m into more of an office job. But there have been no openings. So I waited a while and an opening in the nursing career came up so I thought I would try it out. Nick: Quite a difference between the two, how come? Veronica: Got bills to pay for my apartment and that… He ponders on that a moment, and then turns to her with a smile on his face. Shaw: I have an idea, which could help the both of us. Veronica: Oh? Shaw: What if you became my manager? It’s basically a personal assistant, but it’s better paying. Veronica: Really? Shaw: Sure, why not. Veronica: But I’ve got bills to pay for my medical stuff now. Shaw: Trust me, you will pay that off soon enough! Veronica: Really? Oh, well then. I don’t know how I could refuse to be honest. Shaw: So is that a yes? Veronica: Yeah, sure. I’d love to be your manager! He gives as a smile as does his newly appointed manager. Veronica: Oh my god, thank you so much! The gives him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Shaw: Honestly, it’s not a problem. I’ve wanted a manager for a while. Veronica: When do I start? Shaw: You’ve started. Veronica: Oh wow! I’ll let them know tomorrow I quit! Shaw: Excellent, tell you what, why don’t we leave here and we can talk more about it at my room at the hotel? Veronica: Yeah, sure! They both finish off their drinks and Nick grabs her coat and helps her put it on. They then make their way out. [At the hotel] [Off camera] Nick walks into the room and switches on the lights, he holds the door open for Veronica as she makes her way in, she looks around, admiring the room. Veronica: Wow, the penthouse suite, I’ve never been in one! Shaw: Well, you’d best get used to it, as you’re going to be spending a lot of time in them. She turns and smiles, realising her new found job and how much higher up it is than her last job. Veronica: Wow, this is beginning to come as a shock now. Shaw: Don’t worry, it will sink in. He walks over to the window and looks out over the city skyline at night, the lights on billboard are giving off a warm glow and the streetlights creating random patterns of the streets, and the cars moving along. Shaw: So, anything you would like to know? Veronica: Well, I was just wondering if maybe you were like, in a tag team or anything, or would I just be managing you? Shaw: Well, I’m a singles competitor through and through, but I’m also in a stable, and if I’m in a tag match or whatever, you’ll be coming to the ring and with one or more of my stablemates. Veronica: Oh right, what stable are you in? Shaw: I’m in the Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the plan is to sweep Revolution and take over. I’ve got the X-Division title, Adam, you’ll meet him soon enough, has the World Heavyweight Championship. Veronica: Oh, wow! I’m going to be managing a champion? Shaw: You are, yes. Veronica: Going into the big time straight away, I like it! Shaw: Glad you do, you’re my first ever official manager since I’ve been wrestling. Veronica: Wow, really? Shaw: Yeah. Veronica: Well I’m honoured, and don’t worry, I’ll work 100% at all times! Shaw: That’s great, I’m sorry but it’s getting late, and we’re going to need to get to the airport in the morning. You best get some rest, I can take home so you can pack as well, we’re leaving early afternoon, here’s my card, please ring me later so we can discuss more. I’ll get your coat. Nick gets her coat and places it over her and then opens the door for her as they head out of the apartment and to the car… [Arriving in the Czech Republic] [Off camera] Nick Shaw is seen getting off the plane, he’s in a tracksuit and a baseball cap on his head with the peak slightly bent, he pushes the trolley along and Veronica is beside him, she is in a short skirt and a blouse and a suit jacket over the top. They make their way through the airport along with security as photographers from wrestling magazine’s and websites are trying to get snaps of the mysterious woman who is with him. He then leans over to her while they’re walking and whispers… Shaw: Don’t worry, they have no idea who you are at the moment, I reckon we leave them wondering… She smiles, and then nods in approval as they continue to a door, they quickly make their way through it where a limo is waiting and they get in, as the chauffer puts their bags into the trunk of the car. She smiles and sits opposite him. Veronica: I’ve never been paid this much attention! Shaw: It’s great, isn’t it! And it makes it better for you, as you’re going to be the ‘mystery woman’ all over the covers! Veronica: I can’t wait to see some! The limo drives off into from the airport as they make their way to their hotel… [Getting to the arena] [On camera] Nick walks through the back door of the arena with his usual bag over his shoulder, and wearing a tracksuit and his baseball cap, his usual attire. And the woman seen in all of the magazines and on websites, in her skirt-suit makes her way in along side him and Matt Moore runs up to him. Moore: Nick, do we please have time to ask a few questions? Mystery Woman: I’m sorry, but no questions. They continue walking and Moore shouts down the corridor. Moore: Who is she, Nick? They continue their way down the corridor and he then stops before a door and opens it, holding it open for her as she makes his way in. Mystery Woman: Why, thank you. Shaw: Welcome. He places his bag onto the bench to the side and then sits on the sofa. Shaw: So, we’ve both been real tired from last night, what did you get up to when you got in? Mystery Woman: Well, I packed up some things and then had a bubble bath, then just laid on the bed, watching television, until I eventually fell asleep, I just couldn’t get over it all, I was so excited about coming today! Shaw: Glad you were excited anyway, well, I best get ready I suppose, don’t mind if I warm up a bit, do you? Mystery Woman: No not at all! You do what you gotta do! Shaw: Alright, well the TV’s over there and the fridge is over there, just chill out, I suppose. Mystery Woman: Alright. A slight smile across both their faces as the woman makes her way over to the sofa. She then takes the clip out of her hair, shaking her golden blonde locks free to hang on her shoulders, and she slips off the suit-jacket and then take’s a seat, she sophisticatedly puts one leg over the other and turns on the TV with the remote. Nick, however unzips his jacket and then begins stretching, he’s in his tracksuit trousers that he wore in and now a tanktop. He then finishes off stretching and then begins pulling himself up onto a pull-up bar over the lockers. Mystery Woman: Wow, that’s impressive. He continues working out, and speaks in between each rep, a few words at a time. Shaw: Yeah… It’s easy… Really. He then drops down and goes to the fridge. Shaw: Drink? Mystery Woman: Water, please. He pulls out two bottles and then hands her one. He then unscrews the cap and take’s a sip, she does the same while still sitting down. Shaw: Nothing like a bit of water after a long flight, wish I could have had time at the hotel. Mystery Woman: Well, you’ve had it now. They both share a snigger. Shaw: Right, I best get ready, what you wanna do? Mystery Woman: Well, I’ll just stay here I think. Shaw: Alright then. He then slips off the tanktop and throws it aside, he then realizes she’s still in the room. Shaw: Oh yeah, I’m not used to this, I’ll go in the other room. Mystery Woman: Eh, don’t worry about it, nothing I’ve never seen before! Shaw: Oh, right! He then goes into his bag and grabs his ring gear, he slips off his trousers and then slips his shorts on… Mystery Woman: They shouldn’t be here, though! She stands up and approaches the camera, she shows them the door as they back up, and are outside a doorway. Mystery Woman: Sorry, off limits! She then closes the door and the scene fades out… [WMD Pride!] [On Camera] Nick is now in the corridor, pulling himself up onto a metal shelf attached to the wall. He then drops down as he notices the camera. Shaw: Alright, best get this over with. He’s in his ring gear, and a tanktop with WMD printed onto it in graffiti writing. Shaw: Alex Liddel; the traitor, the sell out, the coward. There have been many name’s placed to you this week, those are but a few. But I’m not here for childish remarks or name calling. But we both know one thing, someone is walking out of Revolution, well it might depend if we can walk or not, but the loser of the match will be leaving as a quitter! We’re going to be stepping into the cage, one-on-one, and we’re going to find out just who will give up first. Who can take the most pain? Who can let their flash tear and rip on the steel cage, and let the blood flow and continue. He then gives a calming sigh, as his tone was getting a bit snappy and disgruntled. Shaw: This week, it is about teaching you some respect, because at Xtreme Collision, you turned on my boys, Adam, and Primal Forces. That’s something you do, you used to be a part of the 402 Krew, man you should know that foundations are built on respect, and also developed on respect. But you, showing your cowardice, took out three members of the WMD, you took them out when they weren;t expecting it, and I know people say it’s the surprise that gives it that extra something. But when you take out your best friend, after he’s been to hell and back, you find that something to boost you up. You were beaten by a woman, is what why you wanted to turn, so you could show people you mean business, and that you’re going to go to the top with the God’s Among Men? Well to be honest that’s a cowards way out, I was pinned last week by Miss DeViant one, two, three. And I’m still here, still backing my boys, not turning on anyone. Because I know that every dog has it’s day, and people also get lucky. Maybe you should have taken those thoughts to consideration, rather than selling out, and joining with Alexander Stryfe, but hey, I suppose if you’re desperate, you gotta call for desperate measures. I’m not going to question it any more, we all have our opinions. I will step into the cage against you, and for once, you’ve said something correct, I will know pain by the end of the night, as I unleash myself onto you full force, as I make you bleed, as I make you holler out in pain, and eventually forcing the words ‘I quit’ from your weak, lifeless, near-crippled body. Oh I will know pain! You will then realise that turning on WMD, on your 402 Brother, that it was the biggest mistake of your entire career! You need to be taught respect, and it’s going to come from the WMD member that you didn’t cheap shot. I’m going to show the pride of the WMD, and stick up for ourselves! The excruciating pain, and revenges that will be reaped upon you, will show you the dominant stable in the EWF, which will then lead to your disregret of EVER turning on a friend again. Inside the cage, there will be no mercy, there will be no confrontation, there will be no words, apart from the two that will be maimed from you, and you know damn well what words they are. You can insure your victory all you want with help, but you’ll need a lot of damn help to get away from me when we get into the cage, finally, you will then, while lying on your back in the middle of the ring, come to the realisation, that whoever you join with around here, you will ALWAYS be a nobody in the EWF. He gives a final look at the camera, and with that walks off screen, as the scene faces out. [END RP] |
