The camera zooms around catching the whole crowd as they cheer and scream.:: John Stubbs: Welcome as we are here in Prague, Czech Republic listen to these EWF fans as they are on their feet! Mike Adams: Well do you blame them the EWF IS IN TOWN BABY! What a night we have here for you fans tonight. We will se a number of great matches but personally the match I am looking forward to the most is the Triple threat divas match! Tiffany our EWF womens champion will be special guest referee ALSO! 4 divas to go around I cant wait! John Stubbs: Nothing ever changes with you Mike. Anyhow moving on we will also see our Tag Team Champions Damage Inc. In action tonight going up against their rivals the 1-Shot Hitmen in a No Disqualification Match! What a match that is going to be! We have a huge main event tonight as well as we will see our EWF Heavyweight Champion Adam Linn go one on one against a man that is slowly climbing the ladder here in the EWF Mr. Showtime. This will be a non title match but a lot riding on this match for Showtime. Mike Adams: Yes definitely Linn does not have anything to loss in this match but if Showtime could get the pin on our current world champ then that will open up new doors for Showtime so I am sure he is ready for this match tonight as well Adam Linn. John Stubbs: Well lets gets tonight show on the road...... --------------------------------------------------------- Opening Match Singles Match Alyx Shadows vs. CJ Barnett --------------------------------------------------------- Shadows and Barnett in the opening match took it to new levels. They went toe to toe in this match where not one of them could pick up momentum on the other. Shadows had a chance but Barnett stopped that quick with his speed and agility over the 6'6 Shadows. There was a big height difference here but that would not stop Barnett from going full force at Shadows..... Stubbs: I must say for a opening match these two newly acquired EWF wrestlers are really stepping It up Adams: Yeah I agree although I am really liking this Shadow guy and he has lot of potential in him Alyx grabs a hold of C.J and whips him into the ropes. CJ comes back at Alyx and slides under the Clothesline and as Alyx turns around he gets met with a swinging neck breaker from CJ. CJ gets up and plays to the crowd before jumping on Alyx with a knee drop. Barnett goes for a pin but Alyx kicks out at 2! CJ doesn't let the frustration get to him. Stubbs: Man what a performance from these two. I dont think it can get any better than this Mike. Adams: Careful what you say John, it may be getting better right now. CJ continues the onslaught with one suplex after another. As he attempts a fourth and final german suplex, but Alyx flips over CJ, grabs his by the head, and slams him to themat with a reverse DDT. Alyx mounts a quick offense, putting the boots to CJ. Alyx brings CJ to his feet and irish whips him to the rope, nailing a violent powerslam on CJ, hooking the leg. CJ kicks out at 2. Stubbs: Damn that was close. I thought Alyx won it right there. Adams: CJ refuses to give up. CJ attempts to fend off Alyx's onslaught. Alyx attempts a suplex but CJ fights it off. Cj goes to return the favor, but Alyx slides out of CJ's grip, drops down behind him, and grabs his tights, rolling him up in a school boy as the ref drops and counts 1...2...3! Alyx rolls out of the ring and makes his way slowly up the ramp as CJ stands up, arguing with the ref. Sean Williams: Here is your winner, ALYX SHADOWS!!!!! --------------------------------------------------------- Backstage Segment Includes: Alexander Stryfe and Bryan Deas --------------------------------------------------------- The scene takes place in the office of the DOA, Alexander Stryfe. He is looking through some papers when Bryan Deas comes charging into his office. Stryfe quickly gets up as Deas has a rage look on his face. Bryan Deas: Ok, Stryfe, I don't know what you are trying to pull here but I am sick of it! Stryfe just looks at Deas with a serious look on his face. Alexander Stryfe: Ok, Mr. Deas. As you can see, I am a very patient man, and right now...I don't have time to deal with idiots, so I suggest you tell me why you are here in my office! Bryan Deas: Stryfe, you have been holding me back for the longest time! Hell, I defeated your World Champion and the former GM of Mayhem! Everyone had me as the favorite to beat Supreme Machine! This was my chance to rise to the top and once again....I feel that I am being held back by you and the administration...so I suggest that you do something about it! Stryfe then has a big smile on his face and shows Deas his contract. Alexander Stryfe: Mr. Deas, you see this contract. Bryan Deas: Yeah, what about it? Alexander Stryfe: I could easily tear it up and your EWF career would be over like that or I could send your ass back to Mayhem in where you were nothing but a pile of rocks! Bryan Deas: What is stopping you then? Alexander Stryfe: Well, Mr. Deas, since you been on Revolution...there have been people who want to face you and I see yourself as a top draw here on Revolution. But, since you want competiton so bad...next week, I will be booking you in a match with one of the top stars. Bryan Deas: Who? Alexander Stryfe: That will be revealed to you later. Now, get the hell out of my office! Bryan Deas: Ok, fine. As Deas leaves the office, the scene fades back to ringside --------------------------------------------------------- Match #2 Singles Match Cell Block vs. Randy Taylor --------------------------------------------------------- The ring bell goes. Cell Block and Randy Taylor lock up. Cell Block immediately gains the advantage, Irish whipping Taylor and hitting a big shoulder block. The ex con is in firm control as he Irish whips Taylor against the ropes again, although Taylor ducks an attempted clothesline, Cell Block hits a wicked spear to flatten his opponent. JS: Powerful move by Cell Block. Taylor is in trouble in the early going here. MA: Damn right Stubbsy! Cell Block is dominant! Cell Block moves Randy to the top of the turnbuckle and superplex’s him into the middle of the ring. Cell Block waits for Taylor to make it to his feet, German Suplex! A second one! There’s the hat-trick! JS: Cell Block is a machine!! The ex-con picks up a battered Taylor and sets him up for a wicked “25 to life”, his version of the Dominator! Not content, Cell Block drags his crushed opponent to the corner, takes a run up and connects with a huge clothesline in the corner! Randy staggers towards the middle of the ring as Cell Block bounces off the ropes… Intentional Manslaughter!!! JS: That’s his finishing move and this one is going to be over, quick!! Cell Block covers Randy with his boot, a standing pin. 1....2...3!!!!!!!!! MA: Not a flinch from Taylor, Cell Block has destroyed him here!! Sean Williams: Your winner by pinfall Cell Block --------------------------------------------------------- Match #3 Singles Match Creed vs. Egon Jameson --------------------------------------------------------- The match begins; a boot to the stomach from Creed catches out Egon. Big rights from Creed! Irish whip into a clothesline takes the German down to the mat. Creed stomps away, showing his tenacity. MA: Great start here from Creed! He’s really taking it to Egon! JS: Egon is possibly one of the most inconsistent stars on the EWF roster Mike, on his day he can beat anybody, but if he’s not on cue, he can lose to anybody! Creed hits a dropkick to the knee of Egon, followed by a big DDT! Cover… 1…2.....Kickout!! Creed goes straight back on the offensive. He picks Egon up, Death Valley Driver!! MA: The end is near for Egon, I’m telling ya! Creed signals for the finish, Nail in the Cross! A tremendous piledriver!!! 1....2....3!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sean Williams: Your winner by pinfall Creed!!! --------------------------------------------------------- Mysterious Segment Including: ? --------------------------------------------------------- Back in the arena, all of the lights go out and a static feed is played through the speaker systems and shown on the titantron screen. Cryptic binary coding is being played all over the screen with out a clear image one what is being shown. The music as heard last week is played once again and a new message is flashing, saying "WCX2Y" It is rapidly flashing faster when all of a sudden everything stops and shuts down. The crowd is in aw and in confusion as the lights go back to normal. Stubbs: "Again? What is going on here? Who or what is causing these were messages?" --------------------------------------------------------- Match #4 Triple Threat Match Winner Gets a Bye Into Tournament Finals For Number One Contendership- Special Guest Referee: Tiffany Shelly The Bod vs. "Hell's Kat" Stephanie Coe vs. Arielle --------------------------------------------------------- -In a hard fought match to earn a spot in the finals, three of the EWF's top divas came to play at Revolution! Shelly The Bod immediately took the fight right to her opponents, peppering Coe with hard uppercuts while Arielle ended up tossing Coe out of the ring and focusing on Shelly. Interesting to note that the Womens' Champion did not count Coe out at all, as the action continued! Stubbs - The Womens' Champion will not count Stephanie Coe out! Adams - I'm sure she has her reasons, Stubbs! -The action swung back and forth, as Shelly and Arielle seemed to put on a wrestling clinic, trading suplexes. Shelly would go for a running powerslam, but Arielle would slip out the back and shove her straight into the turnbuckles. Adams - Now that's smart! Arielle obviously has been studying Shelly very closely! -Arielle would go for a spinebuster, but catch a high knee from Shelly, who then lands her finisher, The Wipeout!! With a cover in place, Shelly went for victory here! Stubbs - Damn it, why won't Tiffany count the fall? Is she afraid of Shelly? Adams - Of course not, I think her arm is tired! -As Tiffany would take her time getting into position, Shelly was screaming at her! Arielle regained her composure as Shelly argued with the referee. Arielle would land her finisher on Coe, and roll her up for the pin. Shelly went to stop it, but Tiffany threw her out to the floor and counted the pinfall. Shelly would pull her out of the ring, but Tiffany threatened to DQ her as she rolled back in. Shelly followed, nailing Arielle with a Samoan Drop and then hitting the Wipeout on Coe! Another pin cover, and Tiffany didn't seem to want to but counted the pinfall! Sean - The winner of this match, and now moving into the Divas Tournament Finals...this is SHELLY THE BOD!!! -Shelly's troubles weren't over though as the Womens' Champion climbed the turnbuckles as Shelly celebrated her win. As soon as Shelly turned, Tiffany nailed The Schoolboy's Dream, leaving the winner of the match laying. A foot to her chest and her title held above her head, Tiffany apparently wanted to show the world who the real top diva was! --------------------------------------------------------- Match #5 Steel Cage "I Quit" Match -Non Title- Nick Shaw © vs. Alex Liddel --------------------------------------------------------- The match started off with Liddel taking control early on and using the cage many times in his onslaught against Shaw. Shaw then slowly got the momentum on his side after that vicious onslaught from Liddel but Liddel quickly stops it as he grabs Shaws head and runs it into the steel cage! Liddel used his power to keep Shaw from gaining any momentum in that ring using Powerslams and Suplexs. It was looking great for Liddel early as he kept control of the match until getting a little too cocky. Adams: This is out of control Liddel is abusing Shaw in that ring as we speak! And I am Happy Stubbs: You are happy? I am sure Shaw will put out of this After hitting a powerbomb on Shaw Liddel grabs the mic from the ref and puts it to Shaw mouth. Shaw refusing to speak. Liddel gets down on the floor pounding him in the head with repeatedly with that Mic busting Shaw opening. Liddel gets up and throws the mic across the ring goes to the steel and grabs a hold of it and shakes it with force as he is getting ready to put a end to this match. He than looks around as the fans are on their feet and he signals for his finisher the BTY Bomb! Stubbs: This does not look good for Shaw look at him he is covered in his own blood as he cant seem to get to his feet Adams: This is it Sink him Liddel and make him say those 2 magic words! Liddel slowly walks over to Shaw after wasting precious time. Liddel grabs Shaw by the bloody head and gets him to one knee. Liddel slowly gets him to his feet. As Shaw gets to his feet he quickly hits a spinning heel kick on the Liddel knocking him down. Both men are now down on that mat! Adams: Ahh! Luck Come on Liddel get to your feet and end this already Stubbs: Shaw is pulling through it seems. If Liddel didn’t waste all the time in the world showing off then things might be different right now but because of this Shaw gained some momentum Adam: Momentum? How do you figure when both these men are down? Liddel gets to his feet first as he holds his head after this spinning heel kick from Shaw. He walks over to Shaw but Shaw gets up just as he gets to him and now they are going punch for punch. Liddel looks to be getting the upper hand but Shaw delivered a strong right hitting Liddel right in temple which brushes Liddel back holding his head as Liddel turns around and gets met with a SUPERKICK from Shaw knocking him down to the mat. Shaw slowly moves towards the cage. He than begins to climb it! Adams: What a fool he cant win be escaping you got to make your opponent say you quit! Stubbs: I hope he is not doing what he seems to be doing! Shaw gets to the top and he than stands up as the arena is on their feet! Shaw looks around before jumping at Liddel who is still on the floor. SHAW JUMPS OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE WITH A MOUNSAULT...................Iceman Moved! Shaw is down holding his stomach! Crwod: ROARING! EWF! EWF! EWF! Adams: Holy sh*t!!!!!! Stubbs: I CANT BELIEVE WHAT WE JUST SCENE! Shaw missed with that mounsault off the top of the cage! I don’t think that was a smart move from our X-Division Champion! Liddel gets to his feet grabs the mic but than looks at Shaw is in great pain Liddel Grins and throws the mic down. He picks Shaw up and hits the BTY Bomb!!!!!!!!! He than grabs the mic and goes up to Shaw and puts the mic to his mouth and tells him to say it! Shaw held back long enough but this time there was no holding back. Shaw said “I Quit” Adams: I got to give it to Shaw in that ring for standing up to Liddel like he did and almost coming out the winner. Stubbs: Yeah I certainly give it up to Shaw and it only shows us why he is holding that X-Division Title because of stunts like that! Sean Williams: Your winner Alex Liddel! --------------------------------------------------------- A Interview Promo -Includes: Mikey Sparks, Matt Moore and Unknown Man --------------------------------------------------------- The scene opens with images of the completed Battle Ground Bar & Grill, it’s opening night as the bar is finally open for business, the camera fades to an inside shot of the Battle Ground Bar & Grill where we see herds of fans clutter the Bar & Grill, drinking, and watching Monday Night Revolution on the large screens that surround the bar, the camera cuts to a shot of some of European Wrestling Federations top brass sitting at the bar talking to some fans, we can see a young man by the door selling the latest EWF t-shirts, the camera then zooms in on a booth towards the far wall, we see European Wrestling Federation owner, Mikey Sparks sitting with an unknown man and two stunning models, both of them are dressed in what only can be described as the most expensive in mens wear, a couple of hefty looking bodyguards stand nearby, the unknown man runs his fingers through his white hair as Mikey slides him what looks like a contract, he looks at the contract for a minute before signing his name on the dotted line, Mikey looks pleased as he shakes the mans hand, he grabs the contract as he gets up to leave, the unknown man smiles at the ladies as he takes a few gulps of champagne, interviewer Matt Moore walks over. Unknown Man: Whoa, don’t sneak up on me like that, you almost got your snot smacked out! How the hell did your ass get by my security?! Matt Moore: Err, I didn’t see any security. Unknown Man: (removes his sunglasses.) Those fools, I told them about all those beer breaks. Anyway, what do you want? Matt Moore: I’m Matt... Matt Moore. I work for European Wrestling Federation, I’m an interviewer. I noticed that you were talking with Mikey Sparks and... Unknown Man: And what? Matt Moore: Well, my curiosity was a bit tickled, plus you look a little familiar. Anyhow, was that a contract you just signed? Will you be joining us at European Wrestling Federation? Unknown Man: A matter a fact, I did just sign a contract outlining a very generous deal. Matt Moore: (leans forward getting a better look) Hey, I do know you. You’re from... you’re the “Nature Boy” Buddy Roy. Wow this is huge, are you really coming to the EWF? Buddy Roy: Listen, I’m flatted that you recognize me but I’m not in the mood to answer any questions at this time. I came here to handle some business with Mikey Sparks and now that I’m done I just want to sit back, drink some champagne, (puts his arms around the two young ladies) enjoy the company of these fine ladies, and watch Revolution. My good pal Paul Anderson is on the card and I don’t want to miss a thing. Matt Moore: Your friends with... hey, you’re the guy that Paul Anderson has been talking about. Buddy Roy: (takes a sip of champagne) My relationship with Paul is none of your concern. I’m trying to be polite but I already told you that I’m not in the mood to talk... all I want to do is relax and watch as Paul Anderson kicks the crap out of Larry Fields... so get lost. Matt Moore: But... The two bodyguards return, Buddy Roy goes back to watching Revolution as the guards hail Matt away from the table. --------------------------------------------------------- Match #6 Singles Match Larry Fields vs. Paul Anderson --------------------------------------------------------- The beginning moments of the match showed great athleticism from both men as Larry Fields and Paul Anderson reverse one move after another. Larry Fields mounts an early offensive, throwing Anderson from pillar to post. Fields sends Anderson to the corner and attempts a running spear but Anderson moves, sending Fields into the ring post shoulder first... JS: Wow! What great action we're seeing already Mike. This is going to be a great match. MA: No kidding John. I can't remember a time when I've seen so much so quickly. Anderson now takes advantage of the injured shoulder of Fields with one hold after another. Every submission attempt is foiled by Fields, but Anderson continues to take it to Fields. Anderson allows Fields to get to his feet and when he rushed Fields, Larry capitalized and nailed a brutal spinebuster on Anderson. Anderson hits the ground and rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. JS: Well Mike, it doesn't appear that either man wants to lose this one. MA: Are you kidding me? Of course neither of these two want to lose. Fields follows Anderson outside, but Paul meets him with a punch to the mouth. Anderson and Fields move all around the outside, using the barricade, the ring steps, and even the ring itself as a weapon. Fields backs off and rushes Anderson who delivers a drop toe hold to Fields, sending him face first into the steel steps, busting him wide open. The referee gets to 6 when Paul lifts Fields up and rolls him back into the ring. JS: HOLY SHIT! FIELDS IS GUSHING BLOOD! MA: This is fantastic! Anderson is showing Fields how it goes when you try to play dirty. When Anderson gets back into the ring, he lifts Fields onto his shoulders, and drops with the Write-Off!! JS: Well this one's over! 1...2...3!!!! Sean Williams: Here is your winner, PAUL ANDERSON!!!! --------------------------------------------------------- Match #7 No Disqualification Tag Team Match -Tag Team Title Match- Damage Inc. © vs. 1-Shot Hitmen --------------------------------------------------------- John Stubbs: Next Match is for the Tag Team Champion. A No DQ for the Tag Team Titles. And Mike all I got to say what a match this could very well be. Hitman has earn their right tonight to win these titles and I except it to be one hell of a match. Mike Adams: John I don't know what the hell you been watching but Damage Inc is to damn good as tag team champions and only team I see could even beat them is the boys over in Mayhem. But then again that is a B Rate show. Lets get this match on John. Enough of this bs... All four men are in the ring pointing and bickering at each other. Vexon and Tom Burgess starts the match off when the bell rings. Burgess hits Vexon with a tough shot to the face. Vexon comes with a shot of his own. Vexon hits another stiff punch to the face of Burgess and one more that sends Tom into the ropes. Vexon then grabs Tom and whips to the other side running in with a hard clothesline that sends Tom down hard to the mat. Vexon looks at his partner with a smile. Vexon turns around and Tom rakes him in the eyes and catches Vexon with a quick backbreaker. Burgess feels his neck a little before walking over to Vexon again. Vexon counters his advance with a kick to his shin and gets back to his feet. Both men get to their feet Vexon locks in a sleeper. Vexon whips him into the ropes and catches Burgess with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker but just tosses Burgess over the ropes to the floor outside instead. Vexon then quickly goes for a suicide dive but Big Jim quickly grab Tom and pulls him out of the way as Vexon goes crashing down to the hard floor. Calypso comes running around the ring where Big Jim is waiting with a big boot to the face. Both Jim and Tom grabs Calypso and hits a Double DDT. Sending Calypso hard to the floor and looks to be out. Big Jim grabs a steel chair as Tom picks up Vexon. Jim goes to swing at Vexon but Vexon ducks and Jim stops quickly before hitting his own partner. Jim shakes his head and turns around where Vexon drops kicks Jim into the barricade. Tom Burgess rushes over to Vexon and hits a clothesline from Hell when Vexon return to his feet. Vexon goes end over end and Tom goes to check on his partner. Big Jim is already back to his feet and grabs a hold of Calypso. Big Jim whips Calypso into the steel post busting him wide open. Calypso falls down to the floor holding his head in pain. John Stubbs: My god Damage Inc is playing dirty tonight. Mike Adams: Is a no DQ you idiot and plus this wouldn't be a Damage Inc. Match with out some blood if you want to win these titles you have to come to play and tonight they came to play as for Hitman I think they are still in a thanksgiving hang over. Back to the action Tom Burgess has grab Vexon and throws him back into the ring. Tom starts to work over Vexon with a few stiff shots with the boot to the face. Big Jim has enter the ring and both men now are teaming up on Vexon. Outside the ring Calypso is slowly getting back to his feet. He grabs a chair and slowly slides back into the ring. Tom and Jim is still double teaming Vexon and isn't paying attention to Calypso as he is back in the ring with the chair. The fans start to scream into excitement as Cal goes for a chair shot to Big Jim. Jim quickly turns around to see the chair up in the air but Jim quickly counters with a spear that sends Cal down. Jim stands over Calypso as Tom comes over and picks up Cal and both men hits a double suplex that sends Cal hard to the mat. Then they both walk over to Vexon who is trying to get back to his feet. Jim grabs Vexon and sends him up with Tom catches him with a 3D!! Tom quickly goes for the cover 1 ..2 ..3 John: And your winners and still Tag Team Champions Damage Inc. Mike: John I told you man I told you Damage Inc came here for business and took care of it tonight. Hitman had no chance in hell Sean Williams: Your winners and still EWF Tag Team Champions DAMAGE INC! --------------------------------------------------------- Match #8 Hardcore Match Supreme Machine v. Aurora De'Viant --------------------------------------------------------- -This match was purely personal, neither of the two men involved like one another even a little! As Supreme would make his way to ringside, he would be brutally assaulted by Aurora coming down the aisle. He must have heard her coming, as he turned in time to see Aurora with a barbed wire baseball bat! One Tito Ortiz style swing to the gut doubled the monster, and another followed to his back, collapsing him to the floor! Stubbs - Jesus, Aurora came out of nowhere with that assault!! Adams - Maybe she has a violent fetish for guys wearing masks! -Virtually anything and everything was a weapon, as Aurora assaulted SuMa with anything that wasn't nailed down. The fight spilled over to mens' room, where DeViant nailed a DDT, driving SuMa's head into a toilet bowl which she then flushed on his head. Pulling him from the bowl, she found a screwdriver not too long after and began driving it into his face, punching holes in his mask and causing blood spurts! Adams - Look, she's got tools and she's trying to fix that ugly mug! -The fight would spill into parking garage, as a spike piledriver would send SuMa's head crashing into the canvas. When pavement meets skull, pavement wins every time! A quick cover, and Aurora DeViant wins! Sean - The winner of this match, AURORA DEVIANT!! -As Aurora was heading back to the building, another man raced towards SuMa He seemed to help him, and then bulldogged him to parking lot. The mystery man was revealed to be Nick Shaw, whom landed a thunderous Welsh Destroyer on the sidewalk, and left SuMa laying in a heap by the road. He rubbed his hands together with a smile and headed back for the arena. We have seen the last of the Supreme Machine in the EWF! --------------------------------------------------------- Main Event Singles Match -Non Title Match- Adam Linn © vs. Mr. Showtime --------------------------------------------------------- 'Step Up' by Drowning Pool hits the PA system and the fan erupts in boos as Mr. Showtime comes out and makes hiw ay down to the ring. Mr. Showtime continues to jaw at the fans as he makes his way into the ring. The music fades out as Mr. Showtime awaits his opponent. Sean Williams: From Neath, South Wales, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds, its MR. SHOWTIME!!!!! JS: Showtime has a golden opportunity here, literally, facing the EWF World Champion. He just got dumped on by Adam Linn last week and I can assure you that Mr. Showtime is ready to prove why he should be the World Champion. MA: And I assure you that Adam Linn isn’t ready to give up the World Championship just yet. Represent by Hed PE hits the PA and 3 pyros launch 3 trailing rockets screaming into the air as Linn and Steffy Coe walk out onto the stage. Linn's face covered by a pair of sunglasses and Steffy pumping up the crowd, as the music reaches higher levels, Linn takes off his 402 hoody and hands it to Steffy on the ramp, he removes Liddel's old Icepick Pendant on a thick herringbone chain and places it around Steffy's neck and then removes Stefani Rae Anne Cher's id bracelet and hands it to steffy he kisses her as he removes his glasses and places them on a fan in the audience. He gazes into the ring at his opponent and then charges down the ramp and takes the fight to his opponent wasting NO time. Sean Williams: Here is your World Champion, from Omaha, Nebraska, standing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 265 pounds, "The Phoenix" ADAM LINN!!!!! JS: Well as far as height and weight are concerned these two are fairly evenly matched. I still have to give the edge to Mr. Showtime. I feel he is more determined to become the World Champion than Adam Linn is for retaining it. MA: We will have to wait and see. Referee Justin Timers calls both wrestlers to the middle of the ring. He gives them the match lowdown. He informs Linn and Showtime that this is a Standard Rules Match and that they each get two warnings for violating the rules then on the third warning they will be Disqualified. He asks if they both understand the rules of this match and they both state that they do. Referee Justin Timers calls for the bell and this match is officially underway. The two wrestlers cautiously approach each other in the middle of the ring and neither is ready to commit to the first move. JS: Seems we have a bit of a standoff. MA: Things will heat up real quick. The two wrestlers lock up and there is a shoving match going on with neither getting the upper hand because these two are very evenly matched. Referee Timers is right in there to ensure there are no illegal holds being applied and, being satisfied that all is legal, he backs off and lets the wrestlers go at it. Finally Linn pushes Showtime back into the ropes and Referee Timers calls for the break. Adam makes a clean break and Showtime fires an open-handed chop to the chest of Linn. Adam complains to the Referee about the hit on the break but Referee Timers informs him that it was a legal break and a legal hit. Linn has to accept that as he turns to continue his attack on Showtime. But before Linn can get a shot on Showtime, he is grabbed by Showtime who spins him around and shoves him back into the corner then hits a backhanded chop to the throat of Linn. Showtime then grabs Linn by the arm and pulls him out of the corner to whip him into the opposite corner. Half way through the whip, Adam Linn reverses it on Mr. Showtime and he ends up whipping Showtime hard into the corner, causing the ring to shake violently. Linn quick to rush in to continue the attack but Showtime lands a knee to the midsection of Linn, causing Adam to take a few steps back. Showtime sees the doubled over Linn and he leaps over him grabbing him around the waist in the process and flipping Adam on his back for the pin. Showtime is not able to get his legs over the arms of Linn so when Referee Justin Timers drops for the count he only gets a two count before Linn kicks out of the pin. JS: Wow! There has been a lot more action in the first few minutes of this match than I expected. MA: I told you that both wrestlers were determined to win and that they are going to give a great performance tonight. JS: What? You didn’t say any such thing! MA: Well, that’s what I mean it to mean. Both wrestlers get to their feet and lock up once again. We see Adam Linn get the upper hand on Showtime again as he breaks the hold and spins Showtime around and launches him into a Belly to Back Suplex, dropping Linn hard on the mat. Showtime wisely rolls out of the ring to break the momentum of Linn. Referee Justin Timers tells Linn to stay back as he makes the count on Showtime or he will stop the count. Simon Timers begins the count on Showtime as he walks around ringside to cool Linn off. ONE… While Showtime is walking around the ring he bumps into Steffy Coe who gets in his face and starts jawing at him. TWO… We cannot hear everything but it appears that Coe is going off on Showtime making fun of him. THREE… Showtime not taking kindly to being made fun of by Hell's Kat so he shoves Coe in the chest causing Steffy to stumble back into the barricades. FOUR… Coe is about to go off on Showtime when Referee Justin Timers exits the ring and informs Coe that if she hits Showtime he will disqualify Linn. Coe figures it is better to leave and not cause any more issues in this match with Linn. Steffy leaves and Referee Timers informs Showtime to get back into the ring or risk being counted out. Justin Timers gets back into the ring then begins his count again on Showtime. ONE…TWO… Showtime figures he got a gift there with the break of the count so he is taking his time getting back into the ring. THREE…FOUR… Linn is pissed off that Showtime got a second chance to stall so he slides out of the ring and goes after Showtime. Showtime sees him coming and slides back into the ring. Linn climbs the ring apron to get back into the ring and Showtime runs over and knees him in the side causing Linn to fall off the ring apron and on to the arena floor. Referee Justin Timers gives a warning to Showtime about attacking Linn while he was trying to get back into the ring. Then Timers turns his attention to Linn and begins the count on him. ONE…TWO…THREE… Adam quick to his feet and we can tell he is very upset at the cheap shot from Showtime. FOUR…FIVE…SIX… Linn quickly to the ring steps where he climbs up and steps into the ring. When Showtime approaches him he counters Showtime and spins him around into the corner. Adam then begins forearm smashes and knees to the midsection of Showtime while he is stuck in the corner. Linn then tosses Showtime out of the corner and Showtime lands hard on the mat. Linn then drops a knee to the chest of Showtime then he goes for the pin, firmly hooking the leg. Referee Justin Timers was a bit out of position but he manages to get over and drop for the count. ONE…TWO…TH… and Showtime got a shoulder up in time. Adam Linn quickly to his feet and he gets into the face of Referee Justin Timers complaining that if he was not out of position he would have been able to make the three count. Timers informs him that he did the best he could and it was a two-and-a-half count and the match continues. JS: Man that was close to being a pinfall victory for Linn. MA: If only the Referee wasn’t out of position there it would have been over and Linn would have won hands down. Linn is still upset that Referee Timers was out of position but he has to return to the match and forget about the flub on the part of the Referee. Linn turns to face Showtime and immediately gets hit with a forearm smash in the face then he gets his with a quick DDT by Showtime. Showtime rolls Linn over for the pin and this time Referee Timers is in position and he quickly drops for the count. ONE…TWO…TH… and Linn manages to kick out at the last second. Linn once again gets into the Referee’s face complaining that he was slow to count on his pinfall on Showtime but quick to count on him. Referee Timers once again informs Linn that he is doing the best he can to stay in position and that he counted the best he could. While Linn is arguing with Referee Timers we see Mr. Showtime sneak up behind Linn and pull him down by the waistband of his wrestling attire and roll him up into a small package. Referee Timers drops for the count, ONE…TWO… and Linn gets out of the pin again. Linn once again complaining to Referee Timers that Showtime grabbed his waistband of his wrestling attire but Timers has to inform Linn that he cannot call what he did not see. JS: It appears that Mr. Showtime is pulling out all the stops here. MA: If Referee Timers doesn’t get his act together I am afraid that Linn might be pulling out the Referee’s eyeballs! Showtime approaches Linn and hits him with a short clothesline which drops Linn to the mat. Showtime then runs to the nearest corner and mounts the top turnbuckle to attempt some sort of maneuver on Linn. Adam gets to his feet and is staggering around a bit so Showtime cannot get his bearing on him right away. Linn manages to stay away from that corner long enough that Showtime starts to lose his balance and has to reach down and grab the ropes to keep from falling. Linn sees this and rushes into the corner and jumps up on the turnbuckle ropes. He grabs onto Showtime and launches himself and Showtime off the corner ropes in a Suplex that causes Showtime to fly high into the air and land hard on the mat. Linn slowly crawls over to Showtime, rolls him over, hooks the leg, and attempts the pin. Referee Justin Timers drops and begins the count. ONE…TWO… and somehow, out of sheer instinct, Showtime manages to get a shoulder up. Linn is totally disgusted and surprised that Showtime was able to get out of that pinning combination after that Suplex off the top turnbuckle. JS: I thought for sure that Suplex off the top turnbuckle had finished off Showtime. MA: So did I! I am surprised that Showtime got that shoulder up! Linn drags Showtime to his feet by the hair. He reaches back to land a forearm smash to the head of Showtime but he drops to his knees and head butts Linn in the midsection. This knocks the wind out of Linn for a second which allows Showtime to get the upper hand. Showtime bends Linn over and hits him with a DDT then he pulls Linn to his feet, whips him into the ropes, and catches him with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex on the rebound. Showtime then picks Linn up and body slams him hard into the mat then he rolls him over and applies the Boston Crab and pulls hard to apply the pressure. Linn yelling out in pain and he is stuck in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go. Referee Jones steps in to ask Jason if he wants to submit and he says no so Kohut tightens up on the Full Nelson Camel Clutch. Once again Referee Justin Timers steps in to ask Adam Linn if he wants to submit. It appears he is about to say no again when Showtime cinches up on the hold and we hear Linn submit. Referee Timers calls for the bell to end the match then he demands that Mr. Showtime break the hold, which he does. JS: Wow! Showtime really came out hard for this match. MA: Yes he did and he got the win in the process. Sean Williams: Here is your winner, MR. SHOWTIME!!!!! MA: Well thank you for all tuning in tonight as we had one hell of a show! JS: Be sure to tune in next week as things get ready to go into December which takes us to Winter Warfare! Goodnight everyone! |
