Some of you guys might already know (others may not) but yh as the title says, Jin is leaving to pursue a solo career in the US. Its a sad day for some fans but I and hopefully everyone will continue to support both KAT-TUN (KaT-TUN as some people are writing it) in all their activities. Anyway I hope any of you guys can make it to either KAT-TUN''s remaning world tour concerts or Jin's solo concert in Sept/Oct(im gonna really really try and make it Jin's!) Soooo yep ... BunBun |

It is NOT official that he's leaving, but it has been announced as a possibility. They'll decide when he's done with his tour. |

@Sakura: No, no, no, sweetie. The "A" in KAT-TUN will stay because Kame's "Ka" will fuse into the "KA" of KAT-TUN. But, they're not sure if they'll romanize it as "KAT-TUN" or "KaT-TUN". Honestly, I wasn't really surprised when I heard this. I was kind of expecting it in the first place anyway (it kind of was obvious when I saw Jin acting all weird/awkward with KAT-TUN all together on TV and other media). But, I'm neither happy nor upset about this decision, my opinion about this is a bit of a mixed feeling. |

I think Jin needs to just shut up and go back to KATTUN. He's not going to become a superstar in America. Especially not with his lyrics lmfao. |

My 2 cents (this will be kind of long) XDD I'm pretty sure everyone saw this coming from the beginning. As soon as Jin said he was continuing his tour I said "he's not coming back, he won't want to." KAT-TUN has always been kind of tense, Jin's closest friends in JE are Yamapi and Ryo. They started off tense and eventually got it to work after awhile. Being thrown into a group with 5 other people is probably hard on them, other groups made it work but KT was never able to. When Jin left for America and came back, he was different. The relationships started to drift apart, he made fun of other members constantly. One thing I noticed over the years, Jin has his moments but he rarely looks like he is having fun singing group songs live with the others, when with his solo work he is always so energetic and plays with the audience to the best of his ability. He loves America, I think his band mates will miss him but at the same time their relationship was not very strong to begin with. When KT heard the news, the next day during a performance Ueda and Koki were crying, Kame was pretty close. It does not surprise me that there was no mention of Maru (who he always calls horse face) and Junno (who is constantly made fun of). However, the reason why I don't really like what he is doing. I thought he was going to do his tour and come back to JE as a solo artist, not try to continue in America. Sure his tour succeed in LA, I also believe the rest of his tour will also succeed, however those are already his fans. He won't gain any new and he won't lose any old. I believe his songs are good, they would be appealing to the audience very much. However, a majority of America is racist, he will make fans with the Anime fans which is what he will probably not want. Let's face it--there is a reason why Utada Hikaru tried to make it in America and failed and now who does not know Utada when listening to Jpop? I've been having this discussion with people since he came over to America, so my opinion on it got kind of long XDDD |

I agree with what Molly, Aura, and Menami said :0 They totally make sense XD I'm not very big on KAT-TUN, but like Menami also said, lots of Americans are racist [ trust meeee, i've been to places where the population is like 1 asian per town ]. Which reminds me, the only famous Asian stars that are blah-blah in the US are like... Jackie Chan. Yeah. SO AKANISHI STOP BEING SUCH AN ATTENTION-WHORE D< even though i am one myself =D; |

i agree with you guys it would be INCREDIBLY HARD almost needing a miracle for him to succeed to get into mainstream music. I think whats made the situation worse is it feels (emphasis on FEELS) like he just up and left to America leaving those fans that listen to both KAT-TUN and his music behind. I'm sure when theres a final decision that he will be there to represent himself, but this weird kinda of aura of how things have been left is whats bugging people the most. I am only gonna PRAY that KAT-Tun as a whole makes the right decision... |

You don't know what it's like when you live in an area (no offense) that is being invaded by mostly Koreans right now. Everyday I'm in school, I hear many Korean conversations everywhere. ^^;; |
