Seeing as I think I'll end up drumming a EP for my former band, Ealo, I figured I will share how I drum bass so quickly. I quit the band Febuary 6th because I don't want to change their vision on the music that they choose to play I wont lie and say I never had a good time, after all they called me Machine Gun B-) because of the sound I make drumming and oddly enough there was one in the band knew I am former USMC and he didn't even come up with it. :$

My reasoning behind saying I think I will wind up doing it is drummers are rare, they probably arent even looking that hard, and I promised my band manager I would if they couldn't find another. After all, Thrash Metal and Metal in general is built around respect and I felt disrespectful when I joined the band and left after a few months. :frypan:

I guess I would go back if they followed through with a promise that I get to make my own part because it seems that they are getting the music writing steps backwards by writing the songs without me. It seems I get disrespect a lot more than anyone else in our band of 5 people and it definitely got annoying. :ermm:

I probably plan on generating my own band once I get settled once I move in a week or so. I've had enough, I feel ready to call my own shots although I know for a fact it wont be easy, Ealo is the 3rd band I've made music with and it frustrates me more that I felt the need to quit because we kill it each time we played. :-/

Being in a band sounds really fun to an outside ear listening in but in Thrash Metal its really just 4-5 people frustrated enough to get it right. -_-
